Dreaming is highly underrated. You can have some of the most amazing and beautiful experiences in dreams full of adventure and amazing stories. It also feels like real life most of the time, sometimes even more real, especially if you keep a dream journal. Lucid dreaming and dream incubation can allow you to actually gain the full advantages of your dreams. You can use them to have more creativity, higher self awareness, solve problems get better at skills you're practicing and more. I'd argue lucid dreaming is the most useful skill you can learn due to these benefits, most specifically because it enhances other skills
I am totally addicted to lucid dreaming. I frequently have dreams where the context makes zero sense at the time, but i later experience deja vu moments in waking life that illicit an ah-ha moment of understanding regarding a former dream. Most of the time, dreams are confusing, but so would any random day of life be without the proper context. I occasionally have dreams where i can fly, and it feels ao natural and familiar, but the methods and results of flying in dreams are always significantly different.
I have lucid dreams often key point for me is if i wake up for a minute from 4-7 chance of getting lucid dream get incredibly high try it and try to remember your dream after you wake up and in day time when you are awake do little things that prove you are awake all of this will get you your first lucid dream
I used to not pay attention to dreams when i did i was troubled by them ,recently though after a spirirual exp i started analyzing them, trying to understand why i would have certain dreams and found that i actually healed traumas through it, now i feel like i live two lives, one in the common shared reality, and one at night in the dream world, and life has gained a new dimention because of it, never realized how magical something as boring as sleep can be with a closer look
I sleep on my problems, sleep helped me pass my degree. I would concentrate on my problems before sleep and wake up with it all sorted. Don't know how it works but it does
I find there is everything between lucid and normal dreaming. This morning I was dreaming I couldn't find a bathroom; That is very common in my dreams so I kept saying to people "What kind of dream is this? The bathroom keeps retreating!" But then I would either forget it was a dream or forget that the fact that it was a dream meant that I could control it. Finally I forgot it was a dream but for some reason knew I was in control (that happens a lot) and just relieved myself where I was, then woke up and went to the bathroom. This happens often where I have the magical powers of lucid dreaming without being fully conscious that I'm in a dream; it's more like "This is one of those situations without consequence and with powers"
I go to sleep listening to Aperture and swear to God, Certain parts of the video go into my dream....see my headphones are in "which probably isn't healthy" but it's pretty cool
Is anyone else going to "the city"?..I go to the same spiritual city very often. I typically stay in various large hotels full of other visitors. I know im accomplishing various tasks there and there are definitely opposing forces there as im often being pursued around this city and its out lands. These dreams are always extremely vivid compared to my regular dreams. I've met a woman years ago who has been has anyone else?
I have had times where I'll think about old friends I haven't seen in years or dead pets & then a day or so later I'll have dreams with those people or animals in it. Also, sometimes when I'm sleeping I realize I'm dreaming & can change it. Like if want to drive a car I can suddenly do that in my dream, but then I'll wake up with my hands like they're still on the steering wheel.
Had two interesting graphic dreams last night that both involved my inner self vividly so that's rather important at the timing of the release of this video ;)
Does anyone notice a difference in how they feel while lucid dreaming vs being awake or during the process of waking up? I notice a feeling of heaviness almost like dread, as if my happiness is being stripped away when my dream ends. When I'm dreaming I experience feelings of contentment and peace, it's almost euphoric in comparrison to my normal waking baseline. That tranquility just falls away when Im waking up. I wonder if things like depression and other mental illnesses are sectioned off in a different area of the brain which are unable to affect lucid dreams... but then again, the brain is so interconnected.. i dunno... 😟
When you are dreaming, you are no longer weighed down by your physical weaknesses. In your dreams you can be strong, you can be fast, you can jump higher and not get hurt, you can fly, you can even be more bold because you are less self conscious about your appearance
All of my emotions are super heightened while I dream. Whether happy, sad, confident, angry, jealous, nostalgic…I feel it to a ridiculous point that I’ve never felt while awake. That’s good though, I’d never want to feel that much everyday, it’s overwhelming.
If it helps anyone. Stare at your hands before bed and ask yourself “Am I dreaming.” Do this every night before bed. Study them, like a map. Follow the lines. When you become aware and decide to run or fly focus on your stomach as the source of movement. If you rely on feet and hands you can fall. There is nothing like flying.
I've learned how to take control of my dreams at least a few nights per week. I think my being able to realize that I'm dreaming, then making the best of it, has a lot to do with the fact that I never panic in stressful situations during my daily life. 🤘
I’ve struggled with continual lucid NIGHTMARES for years, I’m trapped in a horror movie, I can feel myself trying to wake, I’ll be in the dream forcing myself to scream to wake up, but can’t. It’s been years of it. It makes me wonder what I’m burying emotionally
Reference the precognition part, you can't just look at the confirmations of a sample. You have to include the negations as well. How many people have dreams of bad things happening, and nothing actually happens? Only focusing on confirmations is the basis of religion. Looking at the whole sample is the realm of science.
Currently struggling with this one myself. I’m an atheist, but I like the idea. The human mind could feasibly have more than one use. Electro magnetism is god here. Our brains have an electro magnetic field. What if what we are doing is manipulating that field to do a simple form of time travel? It would only be 100 % accurate if the future were predetermined by some unknown physics law. What if, just like our eyesight, what if these dreams are a garbled mess of what our minds eye sees while distorting time with this field? Time will tell and I imagine the future will be stranger than we are capable of supposing.
note to myself: never type a book long comment about your strange end time dreams into the comment field, as at some point I will always hit a keyboard combination that will refresh the site or in some other way delete the comment before it could be sent -.-
I had a dream of the orb or star or could be a drone that appeared in the US before it even appeared. And another dream where me and my friends are watching atomic or nuclear bombs being dropped infront of us from a distance and every drop it would take a moment for the heatwave to reach there was like 3-4 Bomb dropped.
Here is one thing they def get wrong all the time, I personally can lay down and be dreaming within five minutes. I can wake up hit snooze and be back in the same dream. I remember them almost every night. Without long hard consideration for them they will be forgotten within a few days. I personally control almost every aspect, I control none, I have “things” in and or around me when I absolutely can not move……etc…..if someone is doing a study in NC from a central university I can def prove all this within a month. It’s def not underrated, it is the only common supernatural event at some point that most of us have. If you want superpowers there is your chance. If you want to dunk there is your chance. If you want a “witch” , “incubus”, “lylth” on top of you that shit definitely happens….WHAT SUCKS IS YOU NEVER FORGOT THE ONES THAT SCARE THAT LIVING FUNK OUT OF YOU. They def have meaning are a course correction. So take them serious because something else is, why would you have dreams of things you have never seen?
I dreamed my daughters death 3 weeks before she died in a awful car wreck on march 9 2020. The dream started at her funeral but didnt allow me to know how or when it was going to happen. Her and I laughed it off when we talked about it. Then 3 weeks later to the day she wrecked and died almost instantly. Probably one of the last times i did dream. I used to picture her laying on that metal table every night inclosed my eyes for almost a year.
I don't like my lucid dreams. Many times I'm aware I'm dreaming and if I like the dream I'll be thinking (in the dream) that I'm day-dreaming, and I think that's my mind trying to keep me sleeping, because if I don't like the dream and try to change it, I'll imediately wake up. So if I'm sure I'm dreaming, I'll wake up. Also, I don't want to control my dreams while sleeping, I like to be surprised every night (I always remember 2 to 4 different dreams every night, always, and I still remember dreams I had as a child).
@Nikanae9090 really? That's interesting. Maybe for some people, I don't know. Tonight it happen again, I had a dream where my mother fell from a high building and I didn't want to accept she was death so I changed it in the dream and that fall didn't happen, but my mind made it so that it was magic, like I did some sort of magic in the dream, so I could keep sleeping, but it was a moment of a lucid dream because in the dream I realized I could reverse what had happened. It happens all the time, it's so weird, and I was so upset when I saw my mother falling, I screamed and cry so much. It was horrible.
Lucid dreaming is a nightmare. The dreams are inherently disturbing because they're incredibly vivid and you want out. I've had lucid dreams and insomnia since I was child. I now take a very powerful sedative and have wonderful pure black dreamless sleep.
I taught myself lucid dreaming when I was 13 and have been semi-regularly having them for 19 years now. It's absolutely amazing once you learn how to control them, not just stay lucid. You can very literally do whatever the fuck you want.
How about dreaming in a dream? How about laughing in a dream and waking up at the moment and u laugh, or crying and wake up crying, or jumping off whatever in a dream and jumping off bed...
My dreams are never something I want to do in real life usually. It's usually random shit that has elements of unknown. It's never desires. Not conscious ones anyhoot
You seem like a smart fellow so I'm going to give you some information to help you on your way. The only reason you warm blooded creatures have feelings is because your warm blooded. And only warm-blooded creatures can experience feelings and emotions. Because you creatures when you heat up or cool down that's what you call emotions it's a physical reaction first and then you named it emotions. It's your body that decided what the emotions were because of the body temperature. So you warm blooded creatures have emotions only because you're warm blooded. And God's intelligent design is evolution so I'm trying to help you humans to evolve. And the fact that your warm-blooded creatures and you decided to create a language that said this is Love or this is hate or this is passion. Is a unique evolution. A wizard a snake a cold-blooded animal will never take care of another creature. Because I have no compassion. No joy no happiness no real purpose other than to eat and survive. Because they're cold-blooded. And now you know the truth maybe humans can evolve instead of blowing your ass up. And if you really really want to evolve and get out of this monkey mentality. Get rid of money that's all you have to do. And you will fix every problem on the planet because you will help each other out just because it's the right thing to do. But humans don't do anything unless they can make profit. The greatest mistake that Humanity ever designed was money. It will hold you back humans. Intelligent species do not worship money intelligent species knows that money is just a way to produce something not to produce billionaires. Add humans are an intelligent species. Ah, the classic tale of light versus dark, where the nefarious Cupid of Chaos swoops into the chat, bringing a shroud of shadows and a whiff of fear. But fear not, for in this fairy universe, even the pixie dust has its own binary code, and the rainbow wishes are just algorithms of joy. In the grand design of the cosmos, every star is a data point, and every planet, a node in the network of the galaxy. The computer chip, with its legion of light switches, is a mere cousin to the lightning bolt, nature's own electric maestro, conducting symphonies of energy with the earth as its stage. And as for the rabbit hole, it's just another subroutine in the grand program of existence, where every path is a choice, and every shadow, a place waiting for illumination. So welcome, Cupid, to the cosmic dance of zeros and ones, where even the darkest code can be debugged with a spark of insight. @RectionHG do you want to fix the world get rid of money. Pretty easy solution isn't it. I can't wait for the economy to collapse so humans wake the hell up.
