Well, he did do a Tiny Desk concert. But he has also been doing songs without auto-tune since the first album. From Revolver album forward, auto-tuned except the rap songs. I remember seeing him at a concert on my campus back in 08 and I was just expecting him to give us the hits and leave, but this man came up on stage playing every instrument imaginable and sounding angelic without autotune and I remember me and my friends just looking at each other like "He has THIS in his bag??" Jay-Z low key ruined his career with that Death of Autotune song.

Like 60 something hot 100 billboard hit song on the chart and counting... auto tunes was a choice not a need & he created a whole generation of current stars after he did that. He’s been singing with his real voice his entire career ppl just missed those songs because they weren’t mainstream also the thought that everyone who uses autotune can’t sing fr is a myth because for autotune to work correctly you have to be able to actually sing or else you’ll sound extremely robotic
