I'm only 16:00 in and I fucking love everything about this episode. Nick Simmons is so down to earth and humble even though his dad is one of the biggest rockstars in the world he's just a dude you can go have a beer with and have an actual good time. Great episode this week Sickler!

As someone who didn’t watch the reality tv show but a huge comedy fan, Nick has made me a fan of his because he is also a fan and a guy who gets comedy. He is grounded in a perfect way. Great podcast and guest. Nick has a supporter for whatever he does now.

Nick seems like such a good guy. I’m not a KISS fan, but I really like their family unit and watched their show back in the day. I totally remember his mom doing press for the show right after the affair drama came out; she did not bother to hide how pissed she was at Gene during interviews and had no issue telling people why. To his credit, Gene took the heat like he should’ve, and it seems they came out of it all ok since they’re still together today! 😊

This was a really fascinating podcast! I always love being able to hear from the kids of absolute mega stars. Nick seems like such a down to earth dude. They clearly did a really good job raising him to be a normal humble guy which is really tricky to do when you’re the child to again, a mega star. Really cool to see. Great podcast as always Ryan.
I like how Nick talks about his therapist like he's talking about the mailman. That is so healthy. He seems like a really good young man.

Great episode. Loved him as a young kid on the show. Glad to see he turned out to be such a cool guy. He has always been super funny to me. I actually think he would be good at comedy.

I want to give props to Nick for coming on here and talking about some difficult things, especially his sweating issue. I have had that problem all my life. Atleast now at 34 I don't care what people think as much, but as a kid, it was torture, especially during the summer. I convinced my mom to get checked out. 2 different doctors basically laughed at me n said I'm fine and just over-think things. There are so many triggers for it, not just social anxiety.
If I could give advice to my 16 yr old self, I'd tell myself to not think about "fixing" my sweating problem, accept it, and think about life after high school. Life isn't that bad
I enjoy that Nick likes his parents, thats rare. Gene seems like a lot to me.

Kiss out the make up on in 1996. That was the Reunion Tour. They opened that tour at Tiger Stadium in Detroit Rock City! Not at the Garden. I was there. Helicopters coming in as the show starts. So great.

The thing about Ryan is this… he is very disarming. He’s very relatable to all his guests. I can appreciate all his guests and podcasts. Well done sir. Keep up the good work.

I love Nick he’s had this same great sense of humor, sarcastic personality on the show as he does today. He reminds me a lot of my brother, just a great genuine personality and very charming.

The key to good tasting honeydew is the whiter flesh, the bright green looks better but the white is super yummy and sweet. For the record cause my kid loves it and I had to figure out what was the *good* one
