Most of the more severe illnesses happen to people by having a traumatic event take them by surprise, unexpectantly, impacting first in the brain, then in the corresponding organ which that part of the brain controls. The end of WWI had absolutely everything to do with the Flu and lung TB outbreak that occurred killing millions. In nature, the biological conflict linked with a territorial fear (just what it means-a fear in your territory, your home, your community, etc.) is a widening of the bronchia (tissue loss). Your body attempts to widen your bronchia in order to allow more air into your lungs to give you more strength and energy to fight to keep your territory safe. Stay with me.......The biological conflict linked with a death fright impacts the lungs. The lungs attempt to grow larger in order to allow more air in because breath equals life, as we all know. No breath equals death. While you are in the fear or death fright conflict, you notice no symptoms of “disease”, except you have cold hands, cold feet, you can’t sleep, you awaken at 3 AM every night, you have little appetite. During the war, millions of people were in fear of the bombing of their homes and cities where the war was most active. Fearing for their lives, their loved ones in the war, their ability to survive. The food in the stores was sparse due to shortages. This lasted for 4 long years! The longer the conflict, the worse the healing phase. Within 2 weeks of the German Chancellor announcing the end of WWI, these millions of people ALL went into the healing phase all at the same time. It is during the healing phase that you experience symptoms of illness! What is the healing phase of the bronchia widening? Severe bronchitis, pneumonia. The body attempts to refill this lost tissue and you experience inflammation, fever, coughing, body aches, fatigue, etc. What is the healing phase of the extra lung tissue that grew? Decomposing of the tissue by TB bacteria and fungi. The symptoms of this healing phase are: severe coughing up of blood and tissue, fever, inflammation, severe mucous, body aches, fatigue. During this decomposing of the extra tissue (tumor), the body expels a lot of protein, and without replenishment, severe protein loss can result in death. Antibiotics did not exist yet. If TB bacteria does not exist in a person or they have been vaccinated against TB (big mistake), then the tumor will simply encapsulate and become dormant and not harm you. Who died during the Spanish Flu? Mainly the poor who could not afford to buy meat and proper nourishment, and the people who were directly impacted by the bombings and destruction of their homes. Millions of people suffered fear and death frights during the fighting of WWI, and millions of people all went into healing at the end of it. Not everyone was affected because not everyone suffered the same way. It’s not a “flu”, it’s not something you “catch”. It’s biological, meaningful, and unavoidable. You guys have no idea what this podcast means to me right now. Hearing Andrew talk about his panic attack when he was younger really hits home for me right now. 3 days ago i was alone in my house and had a severe panic attack out of nowhere. I literally thought that i was dying of a heart attack or brain related issue like Andrew mentioned. It was the first time id ever experienced something like it, called 999 desperately and was taken to hospital by an ambulance. It was terrifying. Im still feeling anxious, theres a constant tightness in my chest and im having serious trouble sleeping but im trying to just get better day by day. I still find myself thinking “will i ever feel the same again” and i feel that fear building and have to swallow it down. I put on this podcast as its one of my comforts and was so surprised and comforted to hear that andrew went through something similar and came out the other end. Seriously, much love to you guys and thank you Ryan for highlighting these stories and speaking so openly about mental health. - much love from a fan across the water in Ireland.
I feel you. I got diagnosed with a heart condition called CHF in October of 20/20. As a 26 year old it’s scary and I was doing exceptionally well up until about 2 weeks ago when I thought I was having a heart attack in the middle of the night. I got rushed by ambulance and got blood work done and told me everything was normal and it was just a panick attack, Anyways I understand the severity of them if what you did was indeed have a panick attack, it was one of the most scary moments of my life. My best advice is to do as much exercise/weightlifting as possible, try some reputable CBD products and breathing exercises. It’s refreshing for me that you still had chest pains days after your event, I thought it was my CHF getting worse. But I feel you brother try not to revert to drinking or anything else I promise those are just a bandaid and can make you more anxious in the end! Let me know if you need to talk!
@@joey_ferrari24 Man that's crazy, im 26 too! But same thing here friend, in that I got bloods taking, heart monitored etc. and everything was fine! It's crazy how it just came on out of nowhere but I guess I just had been internalising stress for so many years without actually addressing it! I was a smoker (cannabis and tobbacco) and have since completely quit after facing the realisation of what it can cause. I was convinced that night that I was just one of the unlucky smokers who'd caught a bad heart from it early. I guess there's positives to everything, as I'm now working on skills I previously was procrastinating on. Next move as you guys have suggested is to start excersizing regularly! I've been getting out for walks every day (I live in a town full of hills so its a reasonable work out) but am hoping to start going to a nearby gym soon. (I've never been a proper regular gym goer so im a bit nervous about it and how ill feel but I know itll be a good decision in the end.) Thanks for the kind words guys! I still feel kinda light headed, and small tweaks and pains are still freaking me out and send my mind racing but the more I hear and discuss what happened and realise that lots of other people have gone through it too the more I re-affirm its gonna be alright.
Sorry that happened to you. In my experience with panic attacks, you'll feel weird for a little while but you WILL go back to feeling normal eventually. Good luck!

How cheeto describes his depression and depressed thoughts is so similar to mine, just wanting to run away and start over is exactly how i would feel. My therapist would ask if i had suicidal thoughts and they best way i could describe it is not wanting to die. But if something happened i would be ok with it. Depression isnt cookie cutter, and this podcast is amazing at showing different sides of mental illness and trauma. Love you both, glad you are both here, and keep on making awesome content!
I love Santino so much. Anxiety/depression is so real. Crazy to think someone who is so loved by many, and is doing great professionally.. can still find things to get hung up on.

I was raised by a single mom in the 80’s and we lived in Anchorage Alaska. My mom moved there because she got paid extremely good money to bartend. While she was bartending she became friends with a cab driver and would pay him extra money to drive me around during her shift instead of getting a babysitter… lol That was the 80’s man! 😂😂😂
I spent a year off and on in bed with sciatica. I had 2 herniated disks. That was a level of pain I did not know existed. And when I got my spinal shots and the doc hit me on the herniation my legs stopped working for like an hour. Makes me cry just to think about those dark days.
Ive never related to a guest so much in my life. The last episode of my podcast, streamed the same day, highlighted these same struggles. Social suicide, I can totally relate. Feel better, Cheeto.
I'm not even a fan of Ari and I only tuned in because of Sickler. That episode was miles above what I thought it would be. Ryan is great at pulling out the best in people.
Santino gives a great show.We saw him in November in Philadelphia and we had a blast we saw him the week before covid started and that was a great show also
Y’all, I cannot agree more with Santino when he talked about social suicide. I legit was thinking about that like a month ago. I wanted to just drop all of my shit tell my parents I love them and just move to the east coast or something. Just to get away from the craziness of the things happening in my life. I was legit looking at moving to NC to live where I only knew a handful of people.
There's a lot to be said for starting again somewhere I only moved 4 hours drive away but left so much shit behind. I feel like if it's something that keeps coming up in your life you owe it to yourself to try.
Santinos story is very close to how I've been feeling, literally just had my first retinal migraine a week ago that scared the shit outta me,bad enough I haven't got my sense of smell back yet, please don't take my sight too.🥺
My life for three years has been what Cheeto been dealing with that terrible L4-L5 … with s1 nerve being impacted as well … it’s been hell on earth trying recover with some semblance of dignity from this work injury ..im unable to do so much I use to be able to and the company I worked for just fell of their totem pole and no longer America’s #1 choice for a shitty truck … hope new year brings me some justice since workers have no damn rights in today’s blue collar workplace … even with a bullshit union .

Love & relate to the topics of discussion as well as both Sickler & Santino in general, but the honest approach to the human experience in all aspects... Just love it!
Just finished watching on Patreon, great without ad's but I have to watch it on Toosdee otherwise it screws up the week....love Santino glad he came back on💕
These two might be my favorite comedian/podcaster duo.
I cant believe the way this episode described my anxieties and random depressions to a tee. Props to Santino and Ryan talking about real shit! You guys made my night and gave me some real ideas and advice
Santino talking about just leaving and starting over somewhere else is too relatable.
Santino.... love hearing how real you are about your anxiety. It means everything to us with anxiety / depression.
Now you just have to convince the sleepy boba noodle to come on the honeydew.
Can you please get Bobby Lee on the Dew Mr. Sickle cell. He would be a good get for the show,I'm sure you know Bobby. (C'mon, make it a Tigerbelly Toosdee!)
Yes yes yes!!! I’m a huge Bobby Lee/Tigerbelly fan too ♥️
YES BRING BOBBY
Bobby doesn't wake up till 4:00 pm so I imagine the scheduling would be tough
I was raised by a single mom in the 80’s and we lived in Anchorage Alaska. My mom moved there because she got paid extremely good money to bartend. While she was bartending she became friends with a cab driver and would pay him extra money to drive me around during her shift instead of getting a babysitter… lol That was the 80’s man! 😂😂😂
As a young comic, Santino’s quickness and yes and skills are so admirable. S/O sickle cell!
38 year old Andrew Santino?
@@t-bonestickyfingers1336 i’m 24, younger than a 38 yr old T-Bone!
This is the duo I didn't know I needed. I'd love more WhiskeyDew!
This podcast helped me so much. Just to hear personal stories of struggles that I'm struggling with helps. Thanks lads.
Phenomenal topics and I’m only 10 minutes in. Long live Santino!
Great episode, Andrew's always funny doing random impressions.
Best day of the week! Love both of yall so much!!
I spent a year off and on in bed with sciatica. I had 2 herniated disks. That was a level of pain I did not know existed. And when I got my spinal shots and the doc hit me on the herniation my legs stopped working for like an hour. Makes me cry just to think about those dark days.
One of the most real podcasts on youtube. Thank you for the free great content all the time :)
Ive never related to a guest so much in my life. The last episode of my podcast, streamed the same day, highlighted these same struggles. Social suicide, I can totally relate. Feel better, Cheeto.
Ryan might be the best interviewer. Get this man out there more!
2 of my favorite comedians in the same podcast, i needed this, thank you guys. And Ryan's yoga with Ari episode was amazing as well
I'm not even a fan of Ari and I only tuned in because of Sickler. That episode was miles above what I thought it would be. Ryan is great at pulling out the best in people.
Love when Ryan interviews my fave comics. He is best at it in game.
I always have so much fun watching this podcast!! Keep fathering brother

This is what we’ve all been waiting for!!
This has actually been interesting. Thank you!!!!
My two favorite podcasters/comedians, together at last!
I'm half way through and I don't want it to be over :( love the tino
Y’all, I cannot agree more with Santino when he talked about social suicide. I legit was thinking about that like a month ago. I wanted to just drop all of my shit tell my parents I love them and just move to the east coast or something. Just to get away from the craziness of the things happening in my life. I was legit looking at moving to NC to live where I only knew a handful of people.
There's a lot to be said for starting again somewhere I only moved 4 hours drive away but left so much shit behind. I feel like if it's something that keeps coming up in your life you owe it to yourself to try.
sickle cell is one of the greatest interviewers alive
Welcome back to the HONEYDEW YALLLLL!!!!!! lol I love it
Santinos story is very close to how I've been feeling, literally just had my first retinal migraine a week ago that scared the shit outta me,bad enough I haven't got my sense of smell back yet, please don't take my sight too.🥺

Very cool to hear comedians talk about the biz!
Sicklers laugh makes my day & Santino is easily one of my favorite people on earth
These guys are great together.. real and funny.. and most times, real funny lol :D
Santinos irish impersonation always cracks me up 😆
My life for three years has been what Cheeto been dealing with that terrible L4-L5 … with s1 nerve being impacted as well … it’s been hell on earth trying recover with some semblance of dignity from this work injury ..im unable to do so much I use to be able to and the company I worked for just fell of their totem pole and no longer America’s #1 choice for a shitty truck … hope new year brings me some justice since workers have no damn rights in today’s blue collar workplace … even with a bullshit union .
Love Andrew!!! He’s the best!!
Finally, Santino gets Sickler on the whiskey ginger podcast.
One hundred years later, a Fear Campaign begins, using the media to spread it......
This is gonna be a banger of a toosdee 🔥
The mugs are excellent, Lil bit of extra flavor to tie the set together. NICE
Awesome podcast!! Now you need to get the man, the myth, the legend BOBBY LEEEEEEEEEE

This man’s podcast is fr the o yo thing that keeps me sane while I’m getting ready for work. Takes my mind off things and hearing these ppls success j motivates me. Couldn’t be more thankful for this podcast and the dope as usual podcast
Its great to finally hear Cheeto talk for real. He bullshit's so much on his podcast, and I love it, but it's nice to hear him
Pro-Tip: Place an underscore at either side of a word or phrase to have it's type be displayed in italics. "...but it's nice to hear _him."_
@@K31R616 no. I hated English in school and now that I'm an adult I don't have to listen to that bullshit.
I’m not a big Santino BSing either. When he talks like a regular guy he’s so funny
@@only_son5040 Just trying to help you to communicate your message more clearly. If you don't care about being misunderstood, then by all means, continue as you are.
@@K31R616 it's not that I don't care but this is RUclips comments and I was typing from my heart so I'm not interested in your English lesson. I also am not trying to be an asshole but I hate people who correct other adults sentences. Yes I still have ptsd from English 2.
Ryan should have a million Subs spread the word!!!
