@SEJEWEEK YES OMG I love in europe too and i always have to use the lightest shades and my foundation is korean hence I couldn't find any in my country . Struggles of pale girlies😭
No- not really. I live in the US and it’s really hard, but once I came to China, I found my foundation shade right away. I’m a cool toned girlie with super pale skin, around 17-13C
we may have a lot of people with red undertones here but boy they do NOT make foundation for us😭 i’m pale and cool undertoned and i just completely gave up on finding stuff that matches me in western makeup
can’t confirm this in the slightest bc i don’t own this foundation but i saw jooshica say that if you avoid concentrating the product at the tip of the sponge applicator so that it’s evenly distributed throughout the sponge and pat the excess product on the cushion palette you get a very thin and even layer that won’t accentuate texture or oxidize :)
I own it. I wear it like that, in a thin layer. Still oxidises. But it's not too bad if you get a good color match. Yesstyle has the samples for all of the shades, for abt 1$. But buy it with other stuff you wanna get from yesstyle. 'Cause ain't nobody paying that shipping for just these samples.😂
I think this is the exact reason why it’s hard for black/brown people to find shades, people have a very subtle pinky/red undertone and a lot of companies only have orange base or white base
You can stop it from oxidizing, the problem is how much product you put on your face at once. You have to blot the thing on the black cover that covers the foundation u can apply layers for more coverage and it won't oxidize(i hope😅😅)
Just a suggestion of something I used to do, if you have powder blush, after putting on a foundation that’s the right shade, but not pink enough kind of deal, you can put a very thin layer of blush over it all, personally, it works and I can’t really feel it, but if not the same for you, all good!
I suggest you see a tutorial about how you can apply this properly, so it doesn't oxidize 😭😭 cause I've seen ppl doing some stuff with the sponge bfr applying it ❤
Because this foundation oxidizes so badly I try to use it in thin layers on areas that I want to look more bronzy. If provides some coverage and evenness, while adding dimension. It also keeps my concealer less heavy. I wish that these foundations didn’t oxidize so badly, because most people want their foundation to act as their base, but it’s a method that’s worked for me
It’s possible that you might be using too much foundation or need to go a shade lighter. I have a liquid foundation (different brand) that will oxidize to a shade that’s slightly too dark/orange for me, but if I add a couple of foundation drops to lighten the shade, it will oxidize into the color that it should be (which is my perfect match).
Top for anyone planning on buying a tir tir cushion foundation! It Oxidizes a lot so I recommend going a shade lighter to be safe you can also buy the trail packet just in case!
Maybe another korean brand, I know korean foundations are known for having kinda cool pink almost lilac undertones and I’ve read magazines that suggest the goal isn’t so much to match but to go a shade up
Nah bruh, i have a pink undertone too! I have yet to find a foundation shade that isnt too yellow. I can get the right tint but not the right undertone😩😩
Omg I’m white but with a pink undertone and I had the SAME problem with Tirtir 😩I just wanted it to work because I loved the formula but finding a shade match with pink undertones is SO hard!
Tbh when I saw all the hype I was excited because everyone was talking so positively.. now I’m glad I only ordered a sample pack to find my shade first, because it turned out none were my shade after they oxidised. I will stick to my Clio kill cover.. they have a terrible shade range but one of those is exactly my skin tone. I’m happy cushion foundation is getting more popular tho, hopefully means more shades by other brands in the future.
I can’t get a single shade of the tirtir in my natural shade! (I’m a very pale neutral tone) but I got a decent shade from Hera (black cushion foundation) you might have some luck there!
They have a new shade- 10c! And it is for very fair skin with pink undertones. I’ve used it for two weeks now and am amazed at the color match and longevity!
girl same, I'm tan and have pink undertone, all asian foudations I tried was either too white, too yellow or too gray (idk, some filipino brands does that to me)
I’m very pale so I was excited when I saw they brought out the 13 shades. However all of the paler influences I’ve watched had it seriously oxidise, from a perfect match to looking dark and orange.
Really? I am also olive, but I need foundations with yellow (warm) undertones. Most foundations that are light enough for me have way too much of a red/pink undertone, while the foundations with the correct undertones tend to be too dark for me (unless I’ve spent a lot of time in the sun, which I avoid).
I’ve been using Amorepacific for years and have never had an oxidation issue or anything. The biggest thing is keeping your face shaved so it doesn’t apply to baby hairs. Also amorepacific forever will be the best compact cushion. They’re the parent company of LANEIGE
i tried on their red, pink, and silver cushions, and the red one was the only one that seemed to oxidize this badly! i ended up getting the silver 17C one. It oxidizes slighty but still remains cooled toned and lasts all day
Too many people mistakenly assume that a foundation must be too “light” for them because they aren’t used to how their skin looks with an even complexion. Yes, at first it can appear “flat,” “lifeless,” or “washed out” (especially if you are on the paler side), but that’s because you aren’t finished yet. Once you reintroduce some color to your skin (such as blush, bronzer, or contour), dimension and life will return your face, resulting in a flawless finish. It’s also possible that you may need to use more than one foundation (mix your own custom shade) to achieve your perfect match, and that’s okay. If you have a skin tone that easily fluctuates, it may even be preferable. Oxidization is also important to keep in mind, but so is proper product use and application. You cannot get an accurate idea of how a foundation will oxidize on your skin when you use too little or too much product. With a cousin foundation, a little goes a long way. Apply a tiny bit of foundation uniformly onto the puff, stamp out any access foundation onto a separate surface, then gently tap (or lightly push) the puff onto the skin. (Don’t swipe it! Swiping results in uneven coverage.) Repeat until you’ve reached your desired coverage. Remember to build up the coverage in thin layers. Applying too much foundation at once will result in a caked finish.
I remember i saw those foundations and i eas too scared to ask for help so i just grabbed a random shade, and it actually matches me lol 😭🤍 The shade is Natural beige 👌✨💍
You should think about your skincare. I had that problem only I am slightly pink of neutral with dark skin. Find a primer that minimizes oxidation. It was hard enough when I was younger finding my shade with the added issue of oxidation. Mineral make-up is the absolute worse at oxidizing. Good luck.
I have this problem too.. but it’s just bc my neck is a whole different shade from my face and everything either looks to orange or just too light on me or just yellow.. I think it’s bc I have a olive undertone
If you’re olive, via definition, that means you have warm (yellow, green, golden, peach) undertones. I’m also olive, but I’m pale too. The pale foundations are always too cool toned (blue, pink, red) for me, but the warm foundations tend to be too dark on me (unless I’ve gotten some sun, which I avoid). In order to get a light enough shade with a yellow undertone, I either need to warm up a pale foundation with the lightest available warm foundation (or drops), or I need to lighten the warm foundation with a paler foundation (or drops). Sometimes I’m lucky and can find a very pale foundation with warm/yellow undertones, but it’s incredibly difficult.
hey! so the reason this may not be working is because you’re applying it wrong. when you dip the applicator on the sponge, make sure to not dip the tip of it but rather the center. it allows a much more even finish. and after you press product on the center of the sponge, take the sponge and press it a few times against the back of the black sponge holder (the side facing the product) as it gets rid of excess product. then, tap it across your face with light but firm pressure. you can build the product to be more opaque, but it’s much easier finding your shade once you do this method. i also hear it decreases the amount of oxidizing, but im not sure about that.
I’m actually finding it so difficult to tell if the shades look very different bc your hair is different. I feel like that would be a daily struggle for my blind ass 😂
You probably need to mix two together because when I go to stores they don't have me skin tone either so my mom told me and said to mix two together and it actually works
Please i have the same problem. I found a very good foundation, by maybelline, it's not full coverage, it's very natural and has a very nice glowing effect. It doesn't cost much and there are 24 different shades. It lasts all day even without powder and does not irritate the skin.
Random thought / can people’s undertones actually change depending on winter & sommer ? I feel like in Sommer I have a yellow undertone but in winter when I get pale I feel like it might be “pink” but I am not sure I also feel like it depending a lot on the lighting…. I guess, sometimes my undertone, for sure is bluish greenish and even grayish - when ever that happens I wonder why I love this “sick” One of the main reasons I used to use makeup- was because my skin tone looked sticky and when I didn’t wear makeup people asked me if I am sick, always. No I don’t wear foundation anymore and my skin did get better indeed but I still have this sick tone quite often…
Thing with foundation is if you get a pink undertones concealer you can usually get away with layers the concealer over areas that get blood the most (it’s what causes the pink undertones)
I've always been pale, but I just can't afford large brands so I don't even get foundation anymore because the lightest I can ever find is porcelain and it's always at least a shade or two too dark
Omg! I'm a "Summer Cool" type and EVERY foundation I found in Japan looked too yellow on me! Even after 7 years+ living in there, finding makeup for cool undertone skins is almost impossible! (Whether it's Japanese or Korean makeup... Sigh...) Edit: I'm an East Asian with light skin too.
I'm super pale so I always use the lightest shade cuz the shade up from that is always way too dark. Then I use blush and highlighter to add color to my face so I don't look like a ghost
I think I saw a video b4 wear you can go to this laneig place and you can get a foundation with matches your shade perfectly I'm not so sure thing bcz it's been a while since I saw it
I feel like your skin and my skin are pretty similar i hope you'll find something. I did see a foundation that changed to your skin color, its like not so suitable for darker skin but maybe it will work for you? Idk if you already have tried that one tbh so sry if this is unnecessary

Honestly I guess you just get lucky if it oxides quite heavily or not?
Guess what they oxidize to?
Idk
Red or gray?
orange😢
Orange
Some dark colour, maybe orange?
It’s probably easier to find your shade in western foundations because a lot of westerners have a pink undertone 😭
@SEJEWEEKsame, I ended up finding the perfect shade with the brand Rare beauty
@SEJEWEEK YES OMG I love in europe too and i always have to use the lightest shades and my foundation is korean hence I couldn't find any in my country . Struggles of pale girlies😭
No- not really. I live in the US and it’s really hard, but once I came to China,
I found my foundation shade right away. I’m a cool toned girlie with super pale skin, around 17-13C
omg noooo western beauty is all warm undertone, you’re lucky if you can find a red undertone
we may have a lot of people with red undertones here but boy they do NOT make foundation for us😭 i’m pale and cool undertoned and i just completely gave up on finding stuff that matches me in western makeup

I saw this too! (I also can't confirm).
I think you are supposed to use a thin layer
it would still oxidize you would just see it less since it’ll be a very thin application
Omg yes! You get a thin and an even coverage
It would still oxidize
I own it. I wear it like that, in a thin layer. Still oxidises. But it's not too bad if you get a good color match. Yesstyle has the samples for all of the shades, for abt 1$. But buy it with other stuff you wanna get from yesstyle. 'Cause ain't nobody paying that shipping for just these samples.😂
girl 13n with a bit of bronzer and blush would be perfect wdymmm
But what color will it oxidize to?
i think 17C is perfect 😭
No FR
Her concerns were what it would oxidize too. If it got too light then it would look bad.
Pink and olives undertones - this undertones we need!
13n looks good after it dries and with contour im sure itll look good
wait even 17c looks good
I might be wrong, but I think it’ll look slightly colder or warmer in each side of your face due to the dual hair color

17c actually looked quite nice
Wearing 2 shades bc this is a serious split test👩🏻🔬💅🏼
You should cover your hair for it because of contrast and yknow, colour theory n all that
I suggest you see a tutorial about how you can apply this properly, so it doesn't oxidize 😭😭 cause I've seen ppl doing some stuff with the sponge bfr applying it ❤
Is only really oxidises if you apply to much, on ploted dap is more than enough for your full face.😅
part of your problem is that you aren't using it right ‼️‼️‼️
Because this foundation oxidizes so badly I try to use it in thin layers on areas that I want to look more bronzy. If provides some coverage and evenness, while adding dimension. Girl, you dont even need foundation, you look beutifull.
She knows she is beautiful 😂 everyone wants a good makeup so does she
@@Laliha-r5long
your pr videos are always so iconic + different 🤭
Pink undertones make finding any foundation shade a nightmare
The first one was soooo beautiful
Perhaps using a good primer might work out well so your skin oil doesn't make either of them oxidize
Nah bruh, i have a pink undertone too! I have yet to find a foundation shade that isnt too yellow. I can get the right tint but not the right undertone😩😩
YOURE SO PRETTYY
Me when i lie
"Off my left face"😂
Ik this isn’t very practical but u could try mixing the shades
It'd probably be easier if you put a little blush on, I think it'd make the foundation look *less* pale.
pink undertone is the hardest to match f
As a girl with pink undertone i can relate
Omg I’m white but with a pink undertone and I had the SAME problem with Tirtir 😩I just wanted it to work because I loved the formula but finding a shade match with pink undertones is SO hard!

17C seemed like the perfect match to me.
Yes!! I have a warm undertone but the neutrals are too warm for me when they oxidize. 😭
NARS..a tint like sigma..loreal true match..fenty concealer
I can’t get a single shade of the tirtir in my natural shade! (I’m a very pale neutral tone) but I got a decent shade from Hera (black cushion foundation) you might have some luck there!
I would never buy this foundation. Thanks for the alternative 😊
They have a new shade- 10c! And it is for very fair skin with pink undertones. I’ve used it for two weeks now and am amazed at the color match and longevity!
I’ve tried every shade there is even tried to mix shades together and nothing matches my skin tone at all so I have to go bare face everywhere 😭
13 withs some contor and blush would make it darker and make it fit your face😊❤
I have the 17C one, it has good quality and texture.
i thought i was the only one who struggled w pink undertones bc whY IS EVERYTHING ORANGE.
17w is perfect for me lol. I've always struggled to find fair warm shades that aren't straight yellow so this foundation was a godsend
girl same, I'm tan and have pink undertone, all asian foudations I tried was either too white, too yellow or too gray (idk, some filipino brands does that to me)
either ghost or spongebob GIRLLL SAME😔
I’m very pale so I was excited when I saw they brought out the 13 shades. However all of the paler influences I’ve watched had it seriously oxidise, from a perfect match to looking dark and orange.
It might be because they need to go a lighter shade or are applying it incorrectly.
I wanted to try them as well but had a feeling they were too yellow or orange. I’m olive and need something more neutral.
Really? I am also olive, but I need foundations with yellow (warm) undertones. it’s a little bit paler than your actually shade but only by a smidge, i feel like you could call that your shade
I think the first one is perfect
Same for me with my pink under tone
Fr having a pink undertone is so annoying
i tried on their red, pink, and silver cushions, and the red one was the only one that seemed to oxidize this badly! i ended up getting the silver 17C one. It oxidizes slighty but still remains cooled toned and lasts all day
You should maybe mix some foundations to get your perfect shade
My perfect shade is 21 N and I love it. It is the most natural foundation on me.
Girl just put some bronzer, blush and concealer on top of it then it’ll look finee
Too many people mistakenly assume that a foundation must be too “light” for them because they aren’t used to how their skin looks with an even complexion.

whut, 17c and 13n looked just good

Just use blush that should help and won’t make you look so pale….😬🤷🏼♀️
You dont need foundation your stunnin also i feel you i have a reallly pink undertone

If I had one of those packages of pr i would do a full face (and body if bored) with every shade available.. and I would do it in different patterns
From the obvious orange ones, Im just like Anne Hathaway looking at those 2 identical light blue belts
Try mixing an orangey color like u said from SpongeBob and a light shade and u should get your skin tone!
hey! so the reason this may not be working is because you’re applying it wrong. when you dip the applicator on the sponge, make sure to not dip the tip of it but rather the center. it allows a much more even finish. and after you press product on the center of the sponge, take the sponge and press it a few times against the back of the black sponge holder (the side facing the product) as it gets rid of excess product. then, tap it across your face with light but firm pressure. you can build the product to be more opaque, but it’s much easier finding your shade once you do this method. i also hear it decreases the amount of oxidizing, but im not sure about that.

They have a 100 now !!
Multiple shades looked just fine on you if you used a little contour. Not pink enough? Throw a little blush on top

as a pale girl with an olive undertone, i would freaking love those foundations 😂
Just match it to your skin and add blush for the undertone
Remeber to pat it on the black thing so it is even and wont oxidise to much❤
They have a filter on instagram for the foundation colors
Can you plz try the darkest shade of the foundation 🙏
Use it but with blush
I've always been pale, but I just can't afford large brands so I don't even get foundation anymore because the lightest I can ever find is porcelain and it's always at least a shade or two too dark
as a link thoned girly too finding a shade is the hardest thing ever 😭

Edit: I'm an East Asian with light skin too.
Just use an pink undertone powder and it's easily fixed.
Can relate , got yellow AND pink undertones so my shade is in between two shades 💀
I'm super pale so I always use the lightest shade cuz the shade up from that is always way too dark. Then I use blush and highlighter to add color to my face so I don't look like a ghost
I think I saw a video b4 wear you can go to this laneig place and you can get a foundation with matches your shade perfectly I'm not so sure thing bcz it's been a while since I saw it
I do know that Clio has a shade in the pink kill cover cushion foundation that is pink!
I have this issue too 😭
That mirror!!!!!!!!
girl everyone told me pink undertone doesn't exist 😭😭 now i know i'm not crazy
I feel like your skin and my skin are pretty similar i hope you'll find something.
I did see a foundation that changed to your skin color, its like not so suitable for darker skin but maybe it will work for you? Idk if you already have tried that one tbh so sry if this is unnecessary
My shade is 17N..i am not asian😅
I tested out their trial kit with the 9 shades and none of them matched me. I watched tutorials on how to use them properly so i was putting on the absolute bare minimum and it still oxidized. There was one beauty youtuber I watched who theorized that it could literally be up to anything as to why it oxidizes from the skincare you use to your literal oil/sweat production based on food you eat like spices and other stuff. She did notice the majority of people who had it oxidized tend to have oily skin but it's not always the case for oily skin types. Honestly I guess you just get lucky if it oxides quite heavily or not?
as an asian with BOTH pink and yellow undertone i relate
I have this issue myself i just gave up and mix 3 foundations to have the perfect mix
Maybe my brightness isnt up enough but they all looked good except that one that turned really dark (for her)
Black, brown, olive, peach, or white. Warm, neutral, or cool. No foundatiom is ever right for any of us it seems lol
Literally my same problem, (I am tan but I have pink undertone) so I end up looking like an olive or a ghost
