Watching Jennifers body as a young girl and then watching it as an adult definitely gave me a different perspective of how this movie was supposed to be perceived. Watching it as a child I just thought Jennifer was a pretty girl who was terrorizing her peers but I could not grasp that something horrendous had happened to her. But as an adult (and at that point having different experiences) I was able to sympathize with Jennifer more and better understand her and Needy's relationship. Great recap Bobbi!
I love how all these "2nd choices" cast absolutely KILLED it in their respective roles. It's so inspiring! 🤩 Edit: what a scathing commentary on our society. The "911 shooters", the band's desire to become as famous as Maroon 5, etc. 😬
THANK YOU! I've loved Jennifer's Body since it came out and watched it regularly since (and quoted regularly, to literally zero recognition except my partner, lol). It's one of those films I keep telling myself I'll write an essay about but have never gotten around to, but I've at least successfully encouraged a handful of folks to keep an open mind and watch it. Your analysis is perfect, loved the extra trivia, and you are so soothing to listen to. I don't know what in the algorithm brought me to you, but I'm glad it did! ♥ p.s. as far as I know "salty" was never common vocab for pretty/beautiful, but more like... Diablo Cody gonna Diablo Cody lmao
Another great review! Jennifers body was great watch when i was young cuz who doesnt love a hot succubus but watching it as an adult i loved pickin up on more subtle nuances and queer undertones. Cosmic clitoral connection is EXCELLENT discription of their connection ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥😂
I've never actually watched the film, but I've watched enough reviews and analysis that "Jennifer is not actually a cheerleader" is at the forefront of my mind :)
8:20 saying they have a COSMIC CLITORAL CONNECTION is crazy bobbi 😭😭😭
is it crazy? yes. is it true? absolutely.

your voice is so soothing to listen to, this is such a great video ❤ love your content, thank you for sharing!
I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t like this movie.
They way I’m SO happy it didn’t go to Blake Lively… strictly in regards to her acting, this movie would’ve been unwatchable
