"No genre is beneath me, no game is beneath me. People are allowed to have multiple tastes." A true gentleman, ladies and gentlemen.

So glad you made this video, I am not a designer, but on the GM side of things, it's the same thing.
Variety/different challenges brings the creativity and that 'breath of fresh air'......same thing over and over again just gets daunting and the love goes away if staying in one lane.

So many people have told me to 'stay in my lane'.
Now, all I hear is "We're jealous because you have the right answer and we don't! Please go away so people don't see we're frauds!"

i just discovered your channel and i think is awesome that you have this perspective on things , get out of your comfort zone is one of the difficult but important things you do in life, and as you said you like what you like and that's fine the more wide your knowledge and tastes are the better in my opinion!

I live for OWoD and D&D (and I love cats so I'd check out a Mau book)

That's very kind! Do check out Curious Cats of Mau. I think it'll be a lot of fun.

I would say something but you pretty much cover what needs to be said. We get so caught up on what particular things we like, then we end up simplifying it to where people could only like a certain number of related thing and nothing else outside of that. Stephen King is famous for his horror but has published many work that are not horror (The Body which was adapted to the film Stand By Me). George R. R. Martin is famous for fantasy but has done science fiction on occasion. Harlan Ellison hated being pidgin holed in just another science fiction writer. He wrote in just about every genre he could sell. Not everybody needs to constricted in a cultural niche. I read a lot of fantasy and science fiction but I also read paleontology. I even go to classic when I can. this summer I plane to read Don Quixote.

I think you should do what you want. This is your channel, recording pieces of your life, sharing with us what you deem worthy.
I may only really watch vtm stuff, but i fully support anything else, especially if its something youre creating and not just reviewing/narrating/elaborating.
