I feel pretty and polished more with my natural hair but I get more male attention with wigs and weave so I wear wigs and weave because I have to look how men prefer me to look. But once I get in a serious relationship with a man they always want me to go natural. I think it’s because they want me to weed out their competition for them . I have always went natural when they requested and shortly after they start to treat me differently and the relationship ends. I am also over weight and I have noticed that when I am smaller with natural hair I still get male attention but still not as much as I get with the wigs and weave. I wear the wigs and weave for the male gaze and the increase my options. If I’m going out to attract the male gaze I’m going to look the way that gets me more attention.
@@thehypergamousjourney I feel like if my weight is right I can get away with my natural hair but if my weight is not right and I have my natural hair I am invisible to men. With the extra weight and weave I will get some male attention but the quality of the men is suspect most of the time.
