If Indian want to compete they need to have a model that directly rivals the Low Rider ST. Some sort of fixed fairing mini bagger.

    A thunderstroke 122 now that's what I'm talking about!

lol, why not just have Lloydz build you a 131ci?

@UnrulyRider good point. I was just excited that the thunderstroke was still alive. 😄

All Indian's motors are still based on the 2 late Victory engines (Octane & 106) *it's a shame they kicked Victory to the curb...

I still see them every now and then, they are great looking bikes.

False the octane came out two years later after the scout and the power plus is not even close to the 106 but I will concur that the power plus may have been intended for a victory

Not everybody wants a water cooled engine complete with car radiator carbuncle in their Americana cruiser...I certainly don't.

Last few remaining years of air-cooled vtwins... they will all be liquid-cooled or electric by 2030. Good luck finding parts for your tired TwinCam or Evo engines.

I disagree the scout is cooler than the chief and the challenger is cooler than the chieftain

those harley bikes are water cooled too keep it hidden.

@@williampowell2722 No, not all models. The touring models only have liquid-cooled heads. The Sportster S and Pan America share the liquid-cooled Revolution Max engine. The M8 Softails are still just oil-cooled engines.

This makes no sense to have the same engine across all the baggers. The TS111-116 is a stunning engine for air cooled. If they are going to go all water cooled, they need engine models that can differentiate and some keep their old school looking charm.

Ya because you need to look just like the 10,000 other Harley’s at the rally so you fit in and feel like one of the bro’s 😂

@@C_Marty9101 You got one thing right, the fit. What Indian needs to work on more than anything is the fit and finish. The Indian throttle and electrical problems have never been fully fixed. And IMO the 116 is probably the best looking engine on the market, looks like a work of art. Another thing that holds Indian back is the aftermarket is no where close to what HD is.

@@maconmiles2057 I agree. As for the after market you have to remember this version of Indian has only been around since 2013 so of course it’s not going to have the aftermarket HD has. Until recently the Road glide and street glide has basically been the same bike for 15 to 20 years so they have that much time for parts. How many aftermarket parts do you see for the new road glide?
