That really is one of the world's most beautiful looking coastlines I think, and I love how forested it is. Those little coves surrounded by the wooded hills are gorgeous. I love the expression 'Mori wa Umi no Koibito' I first heard of it when I read about an NGO which uses that as its name. I believe they also originated from a place somewhere along that coastline. I particularly appreciated your suggestion about bringing along a bag to collect some of the beach trash - what a great way to give back to the place you are visiting!
I have a thing about lighthouses, I used to want to live in one so much when I was a kid, so it was a treat to see one in this video.
There are a bunch of lighthouses along the trail of course! And agreed on all the little coves. If I had more time, I'd spend a few hours relaxing and exploring each of the hidden beaches!
Seriously I’m running out of words to describe all the treasures you keep showing us Quinlan!😅
I want so badly to be there right now!🥲
Hey, glad you liked it!
@@GoNorthJapan how could I not!?😅
Awesome! As soon as I finish my FPV pilot licence I'll be camping out there to film the dramatic cliffs.
Oooooh, I can't wait to see that!
Thanks!
Thank you so much as always!!
What a beautiful trail! And thank you, as always, for these outstanding adventures!
Thanks so much for coming along!
Such a beautiful scenery man, so nicely narrated and filmed! 👏👏
Thank you so much!
ah such wonderful countryside :D 700 meters hight does not seem tooo bad although I guess it depends on how steep in one go it can get....I bet it was great fun the sea looked so beautiful again
Great Video Beautyful Nature.
Thanks!
The Salty Breeze Trail---what an enticing name! The pine trees are truly lovely. "The forest is the sea's lover" is such a wonderful idea. I wish all of the US elected officials could understand this. Such a pipe dream!
But we can dream!
Beautiful place, swell video!
Hey thanks!
AMAZING 🤩
Nice hike! Reminds me of some of the trails here in Kyushu, although less pine and more palm trees in this area. Thanks for taking us along! 👍
Thanks for coming!
Beautiful hiking date with a pretty Australian lady. Living the life!
Great vid as always. Which watch is it you are wearing during your hikes?
Thanks! I've got a Garmin Fenix 6!
Ahhh my old "hometown", Miyako, nice to see it again, walked the route to Todogasaki a few times when I lived in Iwate. I'm now down in Mie but nice to see it again.
Mie, nice!
Great video as always. One quick question about that tree. Is that an introduced species? Just wondering why the name ia in katakana and not hiragana or kanji?
It's a local species. They use katakana for a lot of plant names on signs!
@@GoNorthJapan that's good to know, I thank you for your knowledge🙏
