4:18 Liverpool fans dont mention trebles and quadruples because we've been scarred twice after being in the race to the FINAL DAY and because quadruples are insanely hard to do.
Not one Liverpool fan in the world thinks we will win the quadruple. Every Liverpool fan would bite your hand off just to win the premier league. When we fail to win the quadruple everybody will turn around and say 'you thought you were going to win the quadruple' . . Its just setting us up to fail so you can laugh at us . . Not that were arsed what everybody else thinks.
Liverpool fans care about nothing more than what other people think. But I take the point that talk of quadruples etc usually comes from the external to then mock Liverpool for not achieving it.
I am an anerican lfc fan and liverpool are on the verge of nothing. Not yet. I hate all this ‘what if’ talk before anything has happened. Its irritating and short sighted. I do however love the ramble and any time theres a new episode im happy
@@craigwilson6393 it's a silly stereotype that you don't seem to fit even if it was true. Agree with your original point; Salah had more goals than the next 3 players combined 2 weeks back; he's the wrong side of 30 too, so an injury there could upset ye
the new format is way better. 8 different teams to play & aside from the teams so bad they can no longer make the t24, all 8 games mean something. liverpool's last two games were effective deadrubbers but they still affected finishing 3rd-1st
We are on the verge of NOTHING at the moment. NOTHING. I've been too close too many times with this team to give a damn. We were 20 minutes away from a domestic Treble (City were down 2-0 with 20 minutes to go in the final game of the season, Clawed back to 2-2 and they won the title by a single point) and lost to Real Madrid 1-0 in that UCL final whilst their GK stood on his head. That is the CLOSEST we've ever been to a Quadruple. The closest anyone in England has ever been to one too. Under Klopp we've lost 2 Prem titles to City by 1 point. In 2014 under Rodgers we ALSO lost by 1 point. That's 3 UCL titles in a decade lose by a single point. Oh and under Klopp we lost 2 UCL titles to Real Madrid by a combined 3 goals (Including the infamous 'Calamity Karius' performance.) So in a mere 6 year window instead of having 1 UCL title, and 1 EPL title we would have 3 of both of them and achieving a Quadruple which no English team has ever done before. We'd go down as arguably the greatest team in history. That's how fine the margins are at the VERY top of greatness. It would also mean City would only have 4 Prem titles vs our 3. Sure some other fans from other teams would point out that last season we were top of the prem with 6-7 games to go, meaning if we'd just won 6-7 more games, we'd have won the title that'd give Liverpool 4 Prem titles and leave Man City with only 3 in a 7 year period. But by a real Liverpool fans standards that's so far away from being 'close' to a title that we look at that like finishing top 4. I don't get excited for ANYTHING anymore till we've won it. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY knows what it's like to come so close to immortal greatness and failing at the last possible hurdle than Liverpool. Messi with Argentina is the only one and he at least FINALLY achieved it.
Finishing first in the new CL format really doesnt give you any guarantees though. Look at PSG struggling, and RM. We could very well be drawn against one of them. And not having to play play-offs means less revenue. It'd make more sense if you got to pick who to play in order of where you place. Actually rewarding
As hardcore liverpool fan i dont put too high expectation on liverpool performed this season. Let concentrate one game from time to time. First priority is to be in final in caraboa cup. With Quite winter transfer don't put high dream. Players would be injured nor fatique don't too eager like last season.
Please stop setting Liverpool fans up. Usually we are told to not be so loud when we think that we will win something, and then get laughed at and mocked by opposition fans when we don't. Now that we are being more quiet and modest about our chances, the opposition fans are the ones raising expectations for us. And they'll still laugh and mock us if we don't end up winning whatever it is they think we should. Any Liverpool fan worth their salt is more focused on the league this season. That's the trophy we want more than anything. A quadruple is a long shot, imo.
Best part of walkers deal is when he was rumoured to go to saudi his Mrs retracted her divorce papers after asking him if he's going to saudi...when he said maybe..she retracted them...he then joined Milan. 😂🖕🏼
Unfortunately they will meet Real Madrid and get KOd as usual. Spurs will somehow get to the final. The league is not wrapped up. They could certainly end the season with nothing.
We ain’t doing no quadruple. Way too early for all this nonsense chat. Our squad is small and slim. A couple of injuries and all bets are off type of situation. Been here before remember?!!!??? Stop the stupid talk now. Let’s see if we can even get to the league cup final first. Hate all this chat.
No they are not on the verge of anything. They are behind in a semifinal for starters.. FA Cup has barely begun, UCL hasn't even gotten to the KO stage and the league finished in 4-5months. It's clicks bait nonsense like this that makes me struggle at clickbait kids spreading around Liverpool.
If we only win the league this year, I’d be a happy man. Anything else is a bonus.

What does you being American have to do with any of that
@@Xpozation. That maybe you have to take what i say with a grain of salt. As americans are considered by many to be ignorant. Just a bit of context

Big games away at City, Chelsea , Everton, Bournemouth, Villa and Brighton etc. Such shit talk about a few trophies.
ONE premiership would be great !
Any quadruple talk is absolute horseshit

Utter nonsense; they were in all four till fa cup 1/4 final day last season and ended up with the league cup
These guys are the football version of Jack Mate 😂
They're on the verge every year, just wait for it to happen, first. It's really hard to get a quadruple without cheating.

Openda always looks like the perfect West Ham striker to me
18% chance of winning the CL or in other words 82% chance Liverpool *DON'T* win the CL and we're talking about quadruple?

At least get the league cup under the belt before this chat starts

If we win the carabao, then we're winning the quad 😊
last time liverpool spoke about a quad just won a cardboard cup
Cardboard cup??? According to arteta the league cup is among the top tier of trophies 😂
