- In today's video I will explore some of my favorite shiny hunting locations in Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee! These locations all have high spawn rate and some other feature like a ladder or a door or stairs that will allow you to reset spawns quickly. That's why I like to do my shiny hunting in these locations whenever possible!

I'm 28 years old. For the first time in my life I went Shiny hunting for magikarp yesterday and worked up a catch combo of like 52 and found one within 30 minutes. Plus it has amazing stats and was fairly larger than normal.

yeah it seemed like the right thing to do when i was in editing. at first it was awkward doing the voice-over part and leading into them so i messed it up a few times and had to trash clips lol but i guess i got it figured out well enough.

Remember at 11 combo on most routes a chansey will spawn. It's worth a lot of XP so catch it

I recently got a shiny Porygon on route 7 while hunting for shiny Growlithe. I used to have alot of fun playing this game in 2019/2020. i used to love watching your videos! They helped me catch so many shinies. I recently got back into the game. Thx for sharing Jonno!

3:18 the zubat was in the middle of spawning but they interacted with something and it was like a circle with a really small wing

Did you have any combos or lures going? Thanks so much for this! I was using the route just before rock tunnel for charmander. No luck. I got a shiny dragonite while having a 250 combo hunting psyduck on the bike route.
Also got a normal zapdos to spawn shiny hunting a 2nd magikarp. The route before seafood islands 90 hrs into the game. Hoping to trade it for something good, as I have 2 zapdos now.

10:07 First time in here, Shiny Magmar spawned on this exact floor with no catch combo. Unfortunately for me, it somehow spawned close enough to trigger the encounter before I could hard save and it fled. I was not happy to say the least.
You can't save shiny spawns anyway. Carry a master ball for emergency!

When shiny hunting for charmder like in the cave did you have a catch combo because I’m confused if I’m doing it right I got the gravler shiny and machop here shiny so I’m trying to get it for charmder what am I doing worng?
Don't combo charmander it's a waste of time. Combo something easy like magikarp. Then just encounter each charmander and run away until it shines

I creat a second nintendo account for hunt mewtwo and the first time I go in the rock tunnel the first pokemon who appeared was a shiny Graveler without flash so I just see some stars! Try to hunt here without flash if you don’t do that before

Route 2 closest to pewter is a great spot because it you get instant resets and you can see all 4 spawns at once

Jonno Plays me too and thats how I got every shiny form there except pidgey because I found a full odds one on route 7 while starting an abra chain so that basically meant that I had to ignore roughly 12+ pidgey/pidgeotos. Two during my ponyta hunt, one pidgey during my squirtle hunt, one pidgeioto while my vulpix hunt, and a bunch of miscellaneous pidgey or pidgeotos I found in the sky or from my rattata hunt on the route 2 because I found a lot of them.
Lol, I was going to shiny hunt in the Rock Tunnel location and followed your guide to get to the room when I found a Shiny Cubone

omg thank you so much bro! My editing skills have improved over the years and I've always used a software called Camtasia Studio. It's really not the best editor but it has a lot of transitions and movements for clips/objects so everything looks really professional. I think I use Camtasia Studio 9. I have quite a few editing videos on my channel of my process to edit vlogs. I haven't really shown the editing for a video like this before but a lot of the same tricks are used just in different order than a vlog would go. Most of the edits are drag and drop onto the clips/objects which is really nice. then you tweak a few settings usually. all that is in my editing stream replays. i think they are like "coffee and chill" or "editing and chill" something like that in my video history. great program for beginners. hope it helps and please share the video :)

For the Mt Moon method did you already have a catch combo or just using lures??
Always catch combo. Always lure. Always push the ladder but wait for everything to spawn first. Helps if you count them. That way you don't fail on the ladder

when i was watching this vid i had trouble for a shiny charmander in route 4 and you showed me the ladder thing in rock tunnel and when i was going to there A SHINY CHARMANDER SPAWNED and i caught it now i have 3 shinys a shiny charmander a shiny beedrill and a shiny butterfree you just got a new subsciber.

Correct the number is 11. After that it will auto spawn one at a time. You get best shiny odds at 31 combo though. It doesn't matter what pokemon you combo so it's good to do something easy like magikarp which can't spawn on land and effect the spawn pool in the room. Best of luck trainer

Yeah it helps most of anything. But you can combo anything to get the shiny bonus odds

@@TheSoupguy1 I got super lucky on the Mewtwo. I ended up hunting the birds as well. Articuno in 3112. Zapdos in 3276. And Moltres in 1842. I'm now hunting Arceus and am at 600.

New subscriber thanks for the cool video. I just got let’s go Pikachu and finished the game and got the shiny charm so I’m excited to shiny hunt. Question though; some of the Pokémon you showed (like Porygon) didn’t have a catch combo; what did you combo for Pokémon like that?
Some pokemon have a unique characteristic of spawning at 11 combo automatically. Porygon is one of those pokemon. So is Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Charizard, Dragonite, Chansey, Lapras and a few others I forget them all. Once you get 11 combo of any Pokémon they will spawn. You need 31 combo and lure for the good odds. Usually I combo magikarp because it's such an easy pokemon to catch with a Pokeball which makes the hunt much cheaper.

@@JonnoPlays highly unlikely because I hyper focus on what ever I'm doing to the point the world around me fades away completely. Alot of youtubers and twitch streamers have missed shinys because their focused on the chat or not fully baying attention or focusing at one spont on the screen is very common issue but doing let's plays causes content makers not to pay attention as much because their being nice and friendly to their chat so the miss out on shiny. After beating the poke leauge and chaining piggies I've gotten a like 7 shiny but as soon as I got the shiny charm I noticed shiny once again seem to not spawn no matter how much I look after chain catching whatever mon I'm shiny hunting I'm beginning to think my game shiny odds are buged or reversed

Once you get 11 combo it will spawn. Best shiny odds at 31 combo. Any combo is fine no need to combo Porygon

I’ve tried shiny hunting for a Weedle for my girlfriend. I’ve had large chains and spent hours hunting with no luck. But whenever I just play the game normally? I get shinies. For example, the other night I got a shiny raticate in the basement of the Pokémon mansion. And then yesterday I got a shiny Nidoran (female) while getting Poliwag for my dex, and a shiny Pidgeotto (I was trying to shiny hunt Eevee but it was full odds because I only had a chain of two) I will definitely try these locations!

I've been trying to get shiny dratini but my patience is running out. I've been I. This area for 3 days with a combo of over 70. ( I know 31 is the max but I could use dratini candy)
I haven't even ran into shiny magikarp, tentacool or tentacruel which I am finding odd because I have the shiny charm

I think you could get a Shiny Legendary Bird in the sky. They’re VERY rare though. The Legendary Birds are maybe a .0000001% chance if you get lucky. Also if that has ever happened to you, go buy a lottery ticket because that’s INSANE!

There have been people who’ve chained the legendary birds, actually! Some people transfer their pogo birds over to start the chain.
the legendary birds are like a 3% spawn out of the rare flying mons, so it could be possible to chain
