    Hi Den, I make my own paste from micro pellets ( Skretting) just cover them with boiling water and leave for a while them mash them up with your hand. Always work for me for carp.

      I would love to be able to use them too Alan. Unfortunately, I can't find any down here in Australia.

    What I have done in the past when fishing paste, is to put a piece of corn on the hook then wrap the paste over the hook. Helps keep the paste on and gives you benefit of a "two pronged bait attack"

      Yep. Thanks Jake. One more to go for next week mate, then I think I might see about some waggler fishing, or maybe showing everyone my new range of cage feeders from the 3D Printer.

    • @FishingwithDen

      I should have known better Pete, but I had to crush some cat food balls down to get the bait I needed. It seems they are all fish or meat based.

    Here in Texas we also have severe issues with turtles. They attack anything edible. When they are thick I turn to plastics.

    • @FishingwithDen
      @FishingwithDen  2 года назад +1

      They can be a real pain Brian, so a switch to a lure makes sense if the fish you are trying to catch will take them.👍

    A small bead on a hair, a little like a push stop also works with paste, simply wrap the paste around the bead

      Thanks Stan. This umbrella is actually a DIY Sunshade which is attached to a 3D printed adjustable bracket which fits onto my seat box. It's still in the prototype stage, but everything seems to be working well. It was the umbrella itself which was blown inside out by the wind.😁👍
