Or, because he's invested in Tesla for 2billion he is on TV pumping the stock, because if it does fall he'll be the big loser. You can't just interpret: "Oh look at this billionaire, he's bullish on Tesla, then it must be safe. He knows what he's talking about". Sure he knows what he is talking about but is he telling the truth? If the truth is that Tesla is on it's way down, if he came on TV and confirmed, then Tesla would crash even more, and he would lose more. So it's in her personal interest to promote tesla.
I had the experience yesterday. Driving fsd 12.3.5 i arrived at an intersection at the same time as a pedestrian, the guy waved me through because traffic for me was clear. And my car instantly recognized the situation and went. It was insane! Fsd is getting closer than anyone thinks.

I saw this interview 3 times already, and I still cannot understand what is the counter argument.
Tesla is going through a bad time due to macro issues mainly. The interest rates, the EV demand, the China uncertainty.
But if we make the reasonable assumptions that EVs and autonomy are the future - how can we not buy Tesla at 150$?
I use FSD every week day. "Now" is correct.

GIANT MISSED FACT: ICE cars last 180k miles, but TESLAS LAST +540K MILES OR 3x LONGER, so if we assume both cost $35k for the first, then the ICE owner must buy two more that with inflation will likely cost $90k, so $35k for the Tesla or $125k for ICE plus AL LTHE COSTS with an ICE car!!! EV=no brainer.
Not true, there are plenty of ICE owners who drive their cars well above 300k-500k who properly took care of their cars, so your pro EV assumption is NOT valid 😂

When Ron was talking about FSD going to Steve Jobs house, and I’ve been experiencing similar… the car slows for speed bumps, residential cross-gutters at intersections, etc… I’ve been experiencing it stopping for pedestrians who are stepping off the curb… even a dog. It’s amazing AI at work. Go Tesla! :-)

The recent dip has allowed me to lower my Tesla cost/share at just over 160. I know total shares are more important than the cost of shares long term, but sheesh is that a good feeling!

I've rented a Tesla with FSD a couple of times in the recent months. Commuted to-from work in Toronto (~80km) every day using FSD around 65-70% of the time. On the v11 I usually had to intervene 1-2 times per drive, on 12 its 0...maybe one.
If an 8 seater tesla exists, SOLD!!!

Rusky... the law of entropy MUST KICK IN. The more components there are the more things that can fall foul of entropy. Order inevitably goes to disorder, ie breaking.
EVs are seeing huge amounts of investment in motors, software and batteries. And the improvements are coming if slower rhan expected.

If he has that much invested I TSLA, why wouldn’t he sing its praises? All electric will give the government the ability to control your transportation. And the electric grid is no where near able to handle what we have now much less the future. And don’t give me the net effect on mother earth. Lithium batteries come from digging up the earth. Old dead batteries have to go somewhere, to landfills. Many problems yet to be solved.
Dead batteries are being recycled because it is cheaper than mining new minerals. Closed loop.

So Ron is buying in at 162? Thought not. Hes talking up his position. Hes down 3B on his paper profits and he wants that back. Look. EVs are dead in the water. The car market is in the toilet and everyone is going to scramble what demand there is. It will be cheap cars, and premium cars. EVs dont fall in either of those categories. A cheap car is a cheap small ICE car. An aspirational car is like an 911 or Ferrari. This share action is just hedgies rinsing leveraged retail.

Teslas aren't cars; they're enormous intelligence collection suites providing billions of dollars of data to Tesla to include audio, video, positioning and more all in real time. None of which is necessary to operate a car. All you need is 1-4 motors, simple software, 2-3 gauges, a couple pedals, and some tires. If Tesla's were built as just cars they'd cost about $10,000 or less.
Twitter, Star Link, Tesla, Elon is in the intelligence business. Not car business. No different than McDonald's. Star link, neutral link, Tesla, Twitter, all about intelligence and influence.

Without massive infrastructure investment there’s no way it’s going all electric. Not enough power production or transmission capability across the country. California can’t even power itself now….no way they’re going to handle all electric vehicles.

I live in Europe and Tesla have totally nailed it. Regularly drive london to Amsterdam. Tesla network is flawless. My BMW electric lasted 6 months. Tesla have the kit and the operational experience to roll this out anywhere and they are miles ahead of all other brands…:

Tom, I still have no position in TSLA. My biggest personal roadblock is that none of the charging station companies seem to get to break even - let alone turn a profit. To me, the increase in charging stations would be the signal to me that electric vehicles are being widely adopted. Or, are there just enough Tesla charging spots out there that the independent charging companies are not necessary?

Started watching in sept 2021. You were saying buy. The only reason I didn't buy was trendy stocks are always losers. I will never buy the trendy stock. Had I bought, I would have lost 33% over two years. Don't see any reason to trust you now.
Americans in general don’t like EV’s. We may be forced to buy them by our Liberal Democrat masters but it won’t be by choice. Not feasible for any distance, can’t find charging , takes too long to charge, and way too expensive. No resale value.
