    AHHH i just committed today!! i live about 20 minutes away and i was wondering is the merch store open? and also , can we go and walk around i want to show my parents where i’ll be the next four years?!

      Congrats!! The merch store would be the B&N bookstore that we show in the video. On the day that we went it was closed but google hours says it's open on certain days and time. There are families touring the campus as well during the weekend, so you won't be alone - just make sure to bring your mask with you :)

    UC Riverside alumnus from WAY back...school has grown five fold since I was there...barely recognize the campus now other than Rivera Library and the Bell Tower. One of the fastest growing UC's for a reason still having that personal touch. Great programs and people...enjoyed my time there. Go Highlanders!!

    Hi, My son stated next year can you recommend me for Computer Science and Engineering? There are good teachers?
    You living inside school 🏫?

    Recently committed!! Are we allowed to go into campus (with masks) just to walk around and explore?! without a tour guide or a scheduled tour?

    • @MagdaandKyle
      @MagdaandKyle  3 года назад +2

      Congrats! Yes you can just come and self-tour but you won't be able to enter into any of the buildings. Just make sure to have mask with you since there are other people who are touring and taking graduation pictures.

    The brick is known as UCR brick as it all comes from the same vendor using the same brick stock. It is mainly used to closely approximate the color of the surrounding hills. Most of the campus names originate from a Scottish theme, so names like Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness, Dundee also fall under this theme.

    Sidenote: There is a B-movie called "Genesis II" which did use the mid century modern parts of campus as a film set.
