How do you do the quick MAX Mode combo with 3 EXs? Activate, cl. C, Qcf+AC, DP+BD, then Qcb+AC? This is done like 10 times in the video but I can't get it to work. You run out of max after 2 EXs
fireballtrap So not a lot of new players know this, but this game has an advantage setting with the max mode gauge. The gauge goes from 1000 for all 3 characters, 1250 for when one is dead, and 1500 on your last? Therefore, if you have Iori as 2nd in member select, you will be able to do 3 ex moves when you do the quick max mode.
The combo beginning at 3:52 does not work at any position. You only have enough time to get the fireball, DP xx qcfhcb+AC after dp+BD for 2 meters if you're the anchor. In the second position, you must do only dp xx maiden masher to have enough time to get the EX DM out. I guess it works in any position in the sense that you CAN do that series if you want to burn 3 meters, it's just that it's most efficient only as middle or anchor, point characters should stick with doing EX rekkas for their 2 meter MAX Mode combos.
Thank you, please help Ques: I tried the combo At 2:47 but i couldn't ,because the maxMode finished before the thierd move ( dp AC), whereas in yours maxMode countinues for three moves???? Why?
I know this video is really old, but what characters are specified under "misses small characters"? I'm assuming Nakoruru, Mui Mui, and that one guy on the villains team, maybe Meitenkun.
The frame data google doc has a list, but off my memory, Mian, Gang il, Nako, Muimui, Athena, Kensou, Yuri, Meitenkun, Choi, Chin, and Tung are all considered small
It says quick combo guide but it takes you forever to get to the combos because you try to cram in some kind of general guide on everything the character does. Why don't you just call it Quick Guide? Also you always put some useless combos before the ones that actually do the most damage for the amount of meter being used. Kind of confusing having people try to learn one combo and then they see one that does way more damage right after (That may even be easier to do). The videos are helpful though, I hope you optimized them in future videos because I know this one's old
buddyfriendguy I realize the name is esoteric, but I title it that since having the word "combo" in the title is more eye catching. I started adding time stamps to the later guides that skip straight to the combos. I have less optimal combos (namely non max combos) in order to account for situations where you needed to convert off of special moves and the like; after watching some matches after the game first dropped I realized they'd be important to at least gloss over. Now that people are optimizing their play it be less necessary, but it could still be useful information. Theyve become a lot cleaner since then. Thanks for the feedback though; you echoed my thoughts as I made more and more of these.
Iori with the trench coat looks super amazing
Just watching these until the day I own the game. Keep up the good work fam. Your doing a fine job. :D
"Yaru ja nai ka, Yagami!"
