Such amazing workmanship! You set a high bar!
Thank you very much. I’m fortunate to have very talented friends helping
Just binged watched your video series. WOW. Fantastic build, so well planned and thought out.
Thank you much for sharing. Looking forward to seeing it in action.
Thank you very much
Been watching you from the beginning. Great job! I can’t wait to see the end result.
Thanks
Ambition Strikes recommended your channel. I'm considering doing a build almost exactly like yours. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure
very cool build so far. one thing that stood out for me: i'd probably mount the inverter off the floor (if nothing else at least on spacers) for the event of a water leak or spill.
Thanks and I actually agree with you 110% for the exact reason you mentions. It will definitely be raised with a spacer
Great progress!!!
thanks, getting there
Coming along nicely
Thanks. It’s honestly been a blast
Looks like you’ve been busy 👍 👍
Yes sir.. I’m kinda tired of working on it and finally ready to just use it and have fun
This is amazing
thanks
Hey, I’m curious how you attached the upper cabinets to the walls? I’m building a similar rig and trying to think through all the details. Thanks!
Thanks. I glued angled aluminum to the wall and bolted the 80/20 to it
Looking real good. This is my fav build online. I just ordered a 2021 Ram 5500 crew. So will be different from yours.
Thanks, and very cool! Cant wait to follow along with your build
Been loving the build. Coming out very nice. I am in San Diego as well. Would love to check it out at some point. I need to finalize my interior plans and get my M1010 project going. :)
Thanks Mike. Are you in Mira Mesa by chance?
@@RAM5500CAMPERTHING Yes I am. :) Looks like you are up in Claremont area
@@chevymike1968 yes sir, send me a DM on Expo Portal
@@RAM5500CAMPERTHING FYI, I sent you a DM on ExPo. Not sure if you got it or not.
Dude! That is really turning out nice! I've always had the idea of building my own camper truck or "Earth Roamer" type thing. I enjoy seeing the little things that you put into it like your windows, hinges, outdoor shower, electronics and more. Bravo!!! I am excited to see this fully done and would freak out if I ever had the chance to see it in person. Do you think you would ever bring it to something like Overland Expo to show it off?
I myself currently have a 2019 Ram Power Wagon outfitted to camp by itself or with my NOBO 10.6 tiny toy hauler for longer stationary camping. I live for camping, and your rig would be the pinnacle of comfort and being able to explore. Keep up the great work!
Thanks man. The power wagons are awesome!!! If they had more payload i would of went that route
Tá ficando incrível 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Também vou montar uma RAM Moto Home, mas em uma 2500 rs.
I will also mount a Moto Home RAM, but on a 2500 rs
@@wallacemjr show eu montei o meu em uma Sprinter 312 queria levantar ela e deixar 4x4 mas parece ser bem caro e complicado fazer essa transformação aqui no Brasil.
Bad ass rig.👍👍👍
Thanks man 🤘🏼
Hey brother, nice build! Do you have a website for your windows?
Thanks man. The windows/website are Tern Overland
Is the 8020 glued or bolted to the walls? or?
Glued, with the same adhesive I assembled the panels with
One thing I'm curious of. With how you have it mounted to the frame with being bolted in the rear and having the springs in the middle and front. Have you ever noticed any issues with when you're driving. Does the pressure on the front ever lift the front of the camper? I noticed in the one offroading video. It seemed like whenever you hit a dip with the front wheels. The front of the camper would sorta lift off the frame a little. It was only a very little bit. But it made me wonder if it lifted when you drive as well... Do you think that if it had been bolted in the front and sprung in the rear that it wouldn't do that if it does..? Or is there a reason why it wasn't?
I haven’t noticed any lift as you mention. Almost all of the “flex” in the frame occurs at the front portion of the frame right behind the cab. That’s why it’s not fixed there
@@RAM5500CAMPERTHING gotcha. That's good. Wouldn't wanna turn your camper into a kite and rip it off the frame going down the highway. That wouldn't be too cool. But okay. That actually makes complete sense. About why you secured it in the rear. Actually, now that you've said something I kinda feel like a moron because I think you actually mentioned something about it in one of your first videos.
What tank sensors did you go with for the Cerbo?
The brand is KUS. It works perfectly with the Cerbo
How do you get the tire on/off?
A small motorcycle ramp! :)
First?
