I legit would have done that if my PS5 wasn't already a bundle with Horizon Forbidden West. At the time (July 2022), PS5s were all sold out in Australia and this $844 bundle was the only PS5 selling for miles/km (unless by scalpers).
Okay the graphic of the forbidden west on PS5 are BEAUTIFUL. I’m not one to spend a lot on a video game but this game is like being in a movie. 10/10 recommend, graphics and storyline are complete worth the money!
When the series is over and come out ast a complete bundle. That's when I get the physical copy.

I did. But I only have a PS4 system and it's old. Some of the mission are different and similar. Same quest different loot.
People “buy games on discounts” I buy new, play, sell because I know it’ll just sit otherwise. If you’re like me then fine get it new. I got armour core 6 for £50, sold for £30 to a shop shop here in the UK and there, I got the full experience for £20. I know full well I’ll never play it again, solid 10/10 but what can I say, replaying does nothing for me.

Let me think about this... no. It runs way better on ps5, and the dlc is exclusive to ps5. If ten bucks less is worth a significant downgrade then you do you but thats realy stupid if you have a ps5.
Feels like the game held my hand the entire run through. Regardless of difficulty. There wasnt any exploring that was left for you to discover. No hidden mission, No hidden objectives, no hidden ugraded future bow or outift, no hidden anything. And one of the worst thing about the game is the limited upgrading stuff. Like once you buy the legendary mods...thats it, you will never be able to get more of said mods. Not even in game+. Which sucked...alot.
All those legendary weapons and outfits (10+) but only like 5-10 legendary mods.
And once you ugraded to get all that, you still only feel like your only shooting pebbles at a tank.most weapons are weak. Sucks feeling like that.
Would it be possible to add something from the future thats from the future? Instead of a old style weapon with a future twist?
I hope the game devs doesn't give up, i still love the game and still have hope for them to fix and or Add things to the game.

If you look at the numbers for how many this game sold, they made 10s of millions of dollars off that extra 10 dollars that you didn't actually have to pay.

When you "buy digital games" you don't actually own the game....you are renting the game.

@@KIT_- Technically he is right because if you were to ever lose your account or if the database get wiped out, the game is pretty much gone. So you are renting it for an indefinite amount of time till Sony goes "fuck it" and takes away your game. I'm not saying that they are going to do it but it's entirely possible.

You purchase a license to play the game. When you purchase a physical copy it's technically the same thing. You own a copy of the license. Which so far in the gaming world they've done a pretty decent job of respecting people's purchases by not removing the game from their library when it's removed from the store. However I think Apple TV, or another similar service, has actually removed movies from people's libraries. Not sure if there are any lawsuits do to this but I certainly wouldn't be surprised.
When you pirate games you own them for life. There is no need for a connection to download the rest of the game for the disk that contains half of the game.

Man those dual sense controllers are really impressive. I cant wait to see this technology get better and utilized by all companies. It's crazy how you can feel the difference when running on sand, wood, gravel and grass in ghost of tsushima, and the guiding wind "blows" through the controller depending from which side it comes, left to right, right to left etc depending on which way your character is facing.

If you buy the PS4 version you won’t get the Burning Shores DLC.
Wrong. When you download it on PS5, console asks you what version you want to download on the console.
That’s if you want to download the digital deluxe version of the game.
Also the dlc is exclusive to PS5

If you bought the ps4 version, you can upgrade to the ps5 version for free. And then you have to pay for the dlc like everybody else.
Crazy thing about this game is that Amazon mid delivered it to me. I waited one week no one came to my door so I kept it. I wish that’s happed more often 😂

Here almost 2 years later, that Horizon ps5 case sure looks better on a shelf next to my other ps5 games.
First game I bought as soon as I started up and added my ps account to the ps5. Felt like a little child on christmas when I booted up the game. And it looked absolutely stunning. This was after being without a console for more than 6 months since my ps4 stopped working. So I was in complete awe when I saw the graphics.
And how fast it loads the game from start menu and fast traveling is instant, sometimes it takes 1-2 seconds but thats nothing compared to HZD 30sec-1min load time during fast travel, not to mention the start menu to in-game load time. It's a day and night difference.

It’s been out and I’ve been playing it for 18 months now. I’m keeping an eye out for price drops on the ps5 version still, if for no other reason than it would look much better displayed on a shelf with my other ps5 games.

Cost of games climbs to $70 but quality has significantly dipped due to the dlc market. Gaming costs too damn much now a days. I'm opting out of current Gen anything until games start releasing in a complete state again.

Wait six months to a year and you get a Game of the Year or Complete Edition with all DLC and for the most part fixed all for a fraction of the price at release! The last game I bought at launch was Dragon Age Inquisition! Since then I buy everything on sale! I have a backlog of 276 games on PlayStation 4 and 164 on XBox One! By the time I’m through I’ll get a PS5 and a One X for next to nothing and you’ll all be paying $2000 grand for your PS6 and XBox Twos 😂

Yeah because Sony always announces on game release, when they will put it on ps plus. The bugs I had with HFW were minor. Like the inventory, map etc menu, showing me I have new resources or whatever, even if I already scrolled through them and nothing had that yellow square with an exclamation mark in it. Thats the only bug I encountered. But that's patched now.
