My buddy and I went to one of Arsenio's shows. We both wore ties (hoping we might get on camera) and were wishing for a hot, musical act of the day. The musical act for the show we saw was Stevie Ray Vaughan, a great guitarist, but we wanted an R&B group, where the audience goes crazy and dances along with the song. No disrespect to Mr. Vaughan, his performance was great! We were just young guys who wanted to see an act that played really good dance music. Still great memories, though!

I had the pleasure of seeing him 2 weeks ago and he did his thing. No dancers, no lip syncing, no back up singers, no circus on the stage like RBRM just him, his mic and a water bottle. Oh and his God given charisma. Enjoyed myself. It's hard to do that. Especially without huge hits. That's all he needed when he went solo and he would have been fine BBD aren't really talented or entertaining , BUT they have some huge hits. Those get the crowd going. They tried to perform a new joint at a show last year and got almost silence. A hit makes half the performance.
