This was a loss, so everything didn’t go according to plan. I do usually buy BKB 3rd, cut the wave into jungle camps… but this game I was frustrated I didn’t kill PL in lane, and then thought the AOE from bloodstone could be useful against the illusions.
Very helpful advice about considering to farm ancients, being more selective with blademail usage, skipping the extra bracer, baiting a bit when my team composition has a nice tank like pudge, and using smokes more! I’ll focus on continuing to improve.
Bloodstone it's a bad item, but the order here is wrong. He should've done Aghs first, because it's too good against Pl and Alch, all they do is hit and they hit fast. Debuff would just make them do no damage and proc helix too often. Also what pains me too see is how these noob axes don't ever use battle hunger. Yes, it's dispellable, but it's better use it and force enemies waste their dispell then not use at all. Also the slow with lvl 15 talent is no joke.
How do they reach Divine? Are they account buyers?
nice review bro, don't you think bkb can be bad choice this game since veng and sb have bkb piercing spells ,like if veng just swap axe when he call he will do nothing anyway , if we look for alternative can we get eternal shroud or something to reduce magic spells ? , keep up the good work :)
Axe has tone of armor, from call and from harvesting from kills. Anytime he died was mostly from magic dmg, even tho they have bkb piercing spells, they didn't had any pure damage so bkb would stop the dmg from him getting killed too fast. Shroud would help i agree with you, but bkb is much better, in late game u are aiming for bloodstone and refresher, having 2 bkbs is much better then shroud.
Love it when you do higher MMR match reviews! I'm divine 3 too, so I learn a ton from those. I think low MMR peeps can still pick up a lot from them too. Hope you keep dropping more of those!

Here's the match! I played DB pos3 at around 5k MMR. My initial plan was to secure a good lane and push the tower around 10-15 minutes then bully their pos1 in jg. However, Mirana’s escapes made it hard to bully her, so I shifted to playing more around my team in the mid game, split-pushing when possible. I was waiting for power spikes and adjusting based on team dynamics. Would love feedback on how I handled the laning phase, my item choices, and my overall decision-making, especially when it came to teamfights, farm patterns and rotations. thanks! ❤

On paper this facet on Axe sounds good but in my opinion it's not. After nerfs I fell like I can't play Axe without vanguard, unless I choose ""One man army". The main reason to pick this facet for me is the fact that it works most of the game time, while the call facet only works during your 1st spell duration and does literally nothing when it's not activated. Facets were supposed to be a playstyle choise for heroes and add more ways to play one hero, sadly this isn't the case and there're just 1 decent facet for each hero and the unplayable/useless ones at best if not all of them.
I would take one man army actually if i have Pudge or Spirit breaker as support who would gank other lanes and leaving me solo and also enemy has to have a lot of tanks that are not gonna die in my call. Maybe i forget to add that. Learn to play without Vanguard! I played Axe with Vangaurd for so many years and when i adapt without one i'm 2x better Axe now cus i build my stuff too early and i can become active faster
