Man, the vlog that you, uncle rick and Ian produce is way better than what the organization brings out. Dakar should hire you three to run the media for next year! Good luck, Lyndon. Godspeed all the way to the podium. Here’s wishing you win malle moto and, thanks for taking us along this season.
Lyndon your attitude and ability to handle all situations is inspirational and contagious! Video crew, great job, each episode has its own vibe, you are doing a great job! Thanks guys, now lets goooooo!! 1st is not out of reach!!!
CLEtimelapse SC I had to stop watching Dakars channel because it pissed me off how terrible it is compared to this. Truly outstanding work.
Also if you are the person who thumbed this down, PLEASE show us your personal Dakar coverage that is better than this. If it's amazing I'll retract my criticism of your opinion.
CLEtimelapse SC I was thinking the same ... it’s unbelievable ... I guess just some very odd people in the world. Its obvious it’s about motorcycles and the Dakar and so who opens the video deliberately and then gives a thumbs down.
Agreed. Whoever disliked this video should be ashamed!
I am a grumpy rider and now I feel humbled at how Lyndon maintains such a positive and cheerful disposition and has to ride, maintain his bike, film all this ... on toughest race on the planet
Lyndon, this series is AMAZING. thanks for doing it.
Lyndon, Thank you to you and your team for bringing the Dakar to us bike riders who can only dream! All the best out there and a shot of whiskey to the entire crew!!!
Awesome. You are a real champ. Racing and working on your bike afterwards is what separates the men from the boys. For us who love to work on our machines, watching you work on Rex is the icing on the cake.

As each time, an amazing episode again! At end of stage 11:
ONIT ("our" No100) is 2nd with a difference of ~90mins from the 1st Olivier Pain (No16) and in front of the 3rd LIEFHEBBER (No51) by 45mins. Seems like ONLY careful planned bike maintenance/fixing work and cautious driving/navigation can make a difference on the top 3 of the Malle(Original) class. That means ONIT, please, please BE EXTRA CAUTIOUS - finish with Rex on top shape and you with a smile all-across your face!
I have always loved watching the Dakar and have done so for several years but thanks to you and your videos I now have a rider to cheer for! I think the riders like yourself who do it all by themselves truly embrace the "Spirit of DAKAR"! I look forward to your Videos so thank to your crew for making this possible. Be Safe
How can any body give this and the other blogs the thumbs down?.......Lyndon and team your brilliant!
It is a pleasure to watch your adventure on Dakar 2018......cheers Uncle Rick 🤣🤣😃😄sorry I mean Ian keep it going and hope hand injury is ok
In addition to the engaging commentary and rider POV on all of this, I find it motivating and educational to watch the maintenance you are doing. Something all motorcyclists should be able to do somewhat. Brings us closer to our machines and can help in a pinch. Thanks.
Fabulous archiving of your event from a personal perspective. Those physio guys work miracles -- what a treat to be ... treated and set aright for the next stages. Ride swiftly and safely, LP!
Can we take a moment to enjoy the grown man on a childs dirt bike? That was gold :p
You and your team are definitely 'ON IT'. My PVR'd daily 1hr Dakar feed (to frozen Mtl. Canada) is nice every year. Yours is the highlight...same day multiple episodes is like Christmas morning. Races to places is amazing.
Another Clean and Beautiful Video... Thanks for Sharing Champ..🤘🤘.. keep it up.. you are almost there now.. just enjoy riding the Rex..🏍👍👍
I apologize for joining the Lyndon party late. This is a fantastic series and have been following your trans world journey. Amazing.
GOOD LUCK LYNDON!!!! Doing really well so far, thanks for being an inspiration and for sharing your journey 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
How do you keep smiling! With all your enthusiasm it's easy to forget that you are competing in the world's hardest rally race, in the hardest class - malle moto style! Unbelievably well done!
Forgot Dakar, I'm travelling to Leicester from Glasgow on my 125 ybr, to do my DAS Motorbike test!
Thanks for the inspiration dude!
There are only two types of days, good days and better days!
Please keep doing this after Dakar!
You are awesome!
Lyndon thank you and the team for these wonderful Videos keep them coming!
Cool to see you greet Alpine Ski Racing legend (turned Dakar racer) Luc Alphand. You are crushing it! Watching you from Vermont USA, snowing and -20. Keep the hammer down! Good luck!
Didn't even realise there was such a thing as the Malle Moto till I started following your coverage! My respect for you is boundless.
Great job Lyndon. This is the real Dakar coverage in my mind. You are doing awesome. If Races to places ever finds itself in Hope B.C. Canada there's a place for you here to sack out.
Cheers
Absolute top notch material! Really enjoying it
Man, the coverage you and the boys are providing is absolutely brilliant. There are a lot of TV networks who could learn lots about viewer engagement from yourself. Absolute champion, thanks mate 👍
I need to visit them and get myself fixed. I had a Chinese Master who had a fix you shop in Maryland Mall. They don't have no one I heard in Mississippi but this is truly healing man. Get better..Never Quit, Never Surrender!
OHRAH
These videos are top notch.... amazing production Dario!
Keep on at it Lyndon... you're smashing it!
...and Uncle Rick, great job on greasing the wheels!
Best Dakar videos iv seen so thanks for that, best of luck
Mate your a legend and thank you and the boys for all the episodes of your epic race. Keep it pinned and the rubber side down 👍👍👍🇦🇺
Thank you for sharing this amazing adventure with us!!!
Hello Lyndon,
You are doing really great job with these videos, now I am enjoying every second of it as just looking at Dakar app for stats is nothing only numbers no spirit of Dakar at all. So keep going and wish you the highest place as possible, cheers mate!
Te sigo por eres una persona que no eres idiota, con las personas que te piden selfi, un saludo etc. Eso te hace grande ,éxitos Lyndon. 💪.
I don't know how many of you know it, but Olivier Pain is no ordinary rider to Dakar. The frenchman is an amazing rider. Finished 3rd in Dakar 2014 as a company rider and decided to take a step "backwards" and ride in the Original Malle moto class! That is by itself a great challenge for any professional. A very worthy adversary for ONIT ... That makes ONIT's effort (and position so far!) an even great achievement! "The worthiness of your adversary glorifies you!" (ancient greek saying)
Fanta, good pick! Great to see your still smiling and seemingly full of energy at this point in the race.
Lyndon you are a true inspiration. thank you so much for creating these videos! keep it strong man....
Love the videos. I wish dakar wouldn't end!!

Welcome extra rest day for you and Rex. Carple tunnel, had both my hands cut, relief when they were done - will put you out for 3 weeks though, no strength in your grip. Thanks for the update. Hope uncle Rick is saving some whisky for Sunday! Good luck stay steady.
Great stuff! Thanks for sharing the ups and downs, and educating us. I echo the sentiment that your attitude is second to none. You have given new light to Dakar, and everything that goes into being a racer in the Malle Moto class. So fascinating! Good luck and ride on!
GO LYNDON GO! YA FALTA POCO PARA FINALIZAR!!!!
A great insight behind the scenes, I prefer watching this to the official coverage. Keep it up and good luck.
Really enjoying Your video coverage. The Navigation / roadbook feature was great. I 've done some road rally Navigation but this just goes to a totaly different level the difficulty. All the Best for the rest of the the rally
