I really do hope in the future marketing cycle for DQXII, SQEX needs to confirm that XII is verified and run on the Steam Deck! Out of all the top performing platforms for DQ, its Nintendo and PC/Steam so SQEX needs to remember and capitalize on that fact.
@@ThatsRoyo the problem is that most of SQEX’s western marketing team are very incompetent and lacking of knowledge of how to market non-FF games. Like if you compare on how they market FF to that of DQ or Mana series, it’s basically day and night. P.S most of the SQEX western marketing staff are FF fans so marketing DQ for the west is just another job for them not a passion project like FF marketing.
I haven't looked into it much but I've heard people have got Android games to run on Steam Deck. Maybe the Android ports of IV-VIII are worth checking out?

I use emulation to run dq7, particularly the duckstation emulator

Every Steam Deck has a destop version of linux and a discovery store to where you can download emulators
