Its a time lapse. A camera takes a photo on a set time interval. The result is a video that really emphasizes the sky's beauty.

Very awesome, you can almost feel the earth spinning with the way the stars are moving and the clouds whizzing by.

To all the people who don't realise; the writer of the music here has probably made you cry more times, with his Sigur Ros songs :)

You are a very talented filmer/photographer and composer.
    I truly love your works!
Thanks to you I started photographing night sky too, sadly I can't afford such good equipment as yours, so the quality is not so good. But I hope I can become better and better. You truly are my inspiration. ^_^
Thank you for all your wonderful videos!

@Kencho I don't mean the glow at the horizon, I mean how everything is brighter until around 1:27 or 1:30 which is when I assume the sun sets. But you can still see the stars and everything before then...

@AutoPsychotic What a lovely bit of constructive criticism from an account that has NO videos of their own uploaded. "Get away from the city lights"?!?! This is at Yashimagahara marsh! Sheesh. BTW, this was uploaded just barely today, give RUclips time to process it more, perhaps if we're lucky the compression artifacts will be better dealt with better at the HD levels.
Personally, I LOVE this as I love all of Mockmoon's videos. Nice job Mockmoon!

it's peaceful and amazing...... beautiful and gorgeous scene with your delightful piano music :D
but i wonder how do you control the intercept time? Usually how many seconds in the shooting processes between frame and frame you have set?
or u just keep in continuous shooting after one frame is done and loaded in to the memory card?

  • @gascl

yes i kknow is a time lapse but i dont know how to make that effect if you see normal time lapse scenes their clouds arent so smooth like these. do you understand? i think is a post production effect

Sorry, but this is one of your worst videos yet. Come on, Mockmoon2000! I've seen a lot better from you before, so I know you can do it. Next time, please get a little further away from city lights, and point the camera at a little more sky and a little less ground. Also, the video compression on this one is awful, with far too many visible (blocky) artifacts. Here's hoping your next video is up to par with some of your previous ones which are nothing short of fantastic!
