Luigi's Mansion 1's soundtrack was simply built differently. Nowadays in the sequels it sounds like basic halloween music. But here it's like...it's something else
I feel like in older games like this they were better at combining "child friendly" and "actually scary" but now many scary games are simply too lazily made.
I feel like it was the sound designers at the time and the sound cards used in the consoles, cause man every game around that year had some good music from Nintendo 😂
@@agentkracko yeah apparently the actual length of the game was an issue with critics back in the day, but i think for a game you can beat in a single afternoon, it's really REALLY well-made
@@agentkracko that‘s one of the many reasons I love it. As much as I love my 100 hours JRPG‘s, I don‘t need every Game to be super long. The fact you can beat this Game in one session is great and it fits with the whole Highscore system it has going for
Luigi's Mansion (OG) music sounded actually unnerving; I don't want to say it was a legitimately scary game on the level of a horror movie or game, but it definitely made me feel unnerved and creeped out. I bet the only reason I don't feel quite so unsettled anymore is because I've played it a few times
@Benjamin Houston I see how that could happen, but since you have to go in the room before anyways to get the fire element, pretty much any new player will talk to the ghost in the middle of the room
Facts song is actually created during 2000 back one Luigi’s mansion was in beta The song is really old. It was originally intended to be created back in 1999 a few years before the release of the game now. Do you think about it the song sounds pretty spooky, but when you know the actual backstory it becomes even creepier
What is this object you have here? Show it please, to Madame Clairvoya
W-what is this?
@@phanterratic why, it is Mario’s star, and what a glittering beauty!

also the ghost designs are so much more preferable in this one.
I feel like in older games like this they were better at combining "child friendly" and "actually scary" but now many scary games are simply too lazily made.
It's because it was a new idea so they made this music because they didn't have any options to think about.
It’s going for the spooky vibe while fitting in with the Mario seris
I feel like it was the sound designers at the time and the sound cards used in the consoles, cause man every game around that year had some good music from Nintendo 😂
it cannot be stressed enough just how perfect of a video game luigi's mansion 1 really is
It was kinda short though

This is what mcdonalds sprite sounds like
HA! I commend you for that one
So that's why they call liquors "spirits"
I Played this on Halloween Night, all Kids shitted their pants

Perfect music for my haunted house~
I played this music out loud on my laptop gazing at my jack o lantern I carved last year in the dark for Halloween! ☺️🎃

The more you slow it down, the more... wet, the background static noise sounds...
Same if you go any faster
There’s actually noticeable pauses between the notes at 0.25x speed.
I literally just got to this part like yesterday
It's a theme that plays when you talk to any ghost, I know this comment is outdated so do you mean you got to chauncey?
@@dannyboy6017 and i know THIS comments outdated but thats incorrect, its first heard in the fortune tellers room
@Benjamin Houston Nope, you get the key to unlock the fortune tellers room before u get to Melody

The official song when trying out a Ouija Board (Luigi Board)

The best soundtrack in the entire game!
PERFECT ringtone. recommend highly
Best music in the game
Ho ho ho ho want to have a battle with my music sheets
Same tune as Baby Bowser's Lullaby from Yoshi's Story. Kinda neat.
Nice thank you
No problem!
perfect music for dialogue before you fight a boss
I think of this song whenever I hear a car alarm.
When the teacher pulls you outside the classroom for a moment.

I still don’t get why Luigi was so afraid of these ghosts. Some of them had really cool personalities. Madame Clairvoya was my favorite.
Clairvoya helped Luigi for like half of the game. Probably one of the few, if not, only ghost he wasn’t afraid of

I play this song in my head when the supervisors start blabbing about something stupid.
Talking With Ghosts, also known as...
...Madame Clairvoya's Theme.
Actually the song in the soundtrack is also known as Eerie Conversations
slappin'
Such a classic tune they don’t make games like this nowadays sadly
"Why, it's so clean, as if... SOMEONE JUST WASHED IT!"
Madame Clairvoya best girl
Good job😀 you made my morning
This is a nice accessory you have here. It’s okay if I keep it, right?
The song is kinda similar to the castle levels in yoshis story on some parts
„Brought to you by Dorkly“
i just realized that this OST is inspired by the Dance of the sugar plum fairy by Tchaikovsky
When you realize you’ve said something awkward and it ruined the moment
