Agreed. Uk here, hard to build on "green belt" our country is so small. Regulations prevent self build in many situations. I dream to do this.
@@martinburrows6844 it's a big country and loads of space but very much controlled and ruled to make you believe there's no space left, only 12% is built on and massive population is rammed in which makes it feel very crowded..

I loved how safe you made the fireplaces surrounding. The amazing pitched roof. The live edge boards and how the house is positioned. Says alot when a couple works together as a team to achieve something amazing and homely. Well done and thanks for sharing.

@warroad Hey my friend, for the last year and a half I have worked harder making these videos and building this channel than I have at anything in my life. This being said from a guy who bought his small business at the age of 22, paid it off in 11 months, continued to earn an income....pay off his modest small home.....and remain debt free so he could save up to follow this dream. Building a RUclips community and creating content is the most time consuming task, I dare say, on earth. So if there are a few loyal, appreciative watchers out there that want to help us on this journey then we will not deny that. I have never once asked on a video for anyone to send me money or fund anything, the option is out there....but I keep my videos very clean in that regard. Please watch more than one video of ours or of any channel before you make snarky judge mental comments.

Awesome job guys, I know how hard this was we built a 14x14 addition on kids cabin and it took 5 guys 8 days just to get the shell done ! Very impressed with how beautiful your place looks 😁 we’re still doing electrical on their home and water lines as they have the money it’s slow going but getting there 1 project at a time, they live with us and just know da 19 and 22 but once done will be debt free as cash the whole way.

I watch these kinds of videos weekly and this one has been my favorite so far. I also love that you just keep banging it out until you get it to point that you have in mind. Even the finer details. I see it many people just get them to a livable point.. then they stop.. then they just never get back to it.

I have watched so many of this type of videos only to be disappointed with finished product because it turns out to be no more than a dirty cluttered shed.
