And my trucks temp never changed these trucks are so good at hiding problems because of how strong they are my ac compressor took a dump on me a few months after I have a 2014 f250 6.7 bought with 100k now have 161k owned for about 7 years
@@nick7.3 👍 I had similar problems my shit s squeak warming up and go away and then occasionally while driving and warmed up, you can hear it sometimes so I start spraying lube, and it would go away for a while, but every morning at fire up, it would be back long story short I was chasing a squeak down all my serpentine belts and I had to take it to the shop and it ended up being the water pump. Like I said, I had no leaks no changing coolant temperature performance anything the truck ran just fine.
My 12 does this but I drive it so rarely I often forget about it lol. When I get home from work I’m going to see if my tensioner is the culprit!
Sweet truck bro. I'm working on buying a 7.3 right now. They seem like pretty solid trucks.
Have a similar squeak but mostly on hard acceleration and when it has a cold start, was yours just all the time no matter what?
Yes all the time
@@nick7.3 this fix seems easy enough I’ll have to swap mine see if it helps at all
I have the same thing, 2011, squeaks under acceleration, it's not the idlers so I'm thinking it might be a power steering pump or something else
@@jeffs72 other thing I thought of was the tensioner or maybe just a shot belt
Your sure it was the water pump?I had same problem no leaks it ended up being a bad water pump
