When i was a kid in Sunday School they used to give us these small wooden barrels with a coin hole in them
to send money to Israel to support building the Kibbutz, its amazing how its grown since the 60s

This is perhaps the most beautiful place I have ever seen in my life. I live in Israel and have seen beautiful kibbutzim (there are lots of kibbutzim), but I forgot how beautiful they can be. And it is a simple, functional, modest and non-eye-popping beauty, founded on humane (and usually secular) values

I've lived in this kibbutz for 6 months, as a volunteer, back in 1982. It has a big place in my heart, the place is next to paradise, and the kibbtzniks (the inhabitants of the kibbutz were really nice people, many of them survivors of the Shoah (Holocaust), with whom you could learn a lot.) I've workedhard in there, had fun, made good friends,

Aí tem o som dos cantos dos pássaros, por conta das árvores deve existir muito pàssaros e como è lindo ouvi - los cantar. O amanhecer do dia deve ser lindo aí... E com a melodia natural desses pàssaros nem se fala. ❤

Почему ставят дизлайки? Всё по той же причине что и всегда. Этот вопрос я себе задаю много лет. В первом классе я пришел домой с вопросом “Почему именно меня называют каким то непонятным словом? Что это значит?”

Brought back so many wonderful memories of my stay at Kibbutz Netzer Sereni. 1970 for a 6 month Ulpan. We lived in the German church which was converted to a dormitory. Anyone out there remember me? Greg Edelson?

Back to the Pioneers' Lands, to these communities founded by some survivors of the Shoah who prepared for the establishment of the State of Israel, partly in training Jews to cultivate, live in and from the Land .
The Former Name of this Kibbutz was Kibbutz Buchenwald, named after the sinister Death Camp. That says a lot about the historical importance of the site.
Thank you to Dima (who's name appeared on a Graffiti written on a Board of what was previously, I guess, a school).
For a While, I asked myself what could be today the connection between the original purpose of this Kibbutz, dedicated to Agriculture and Farming, and today. Only at the very end of the video one can see far away the greenery of Farmlands.
May be this nice video of yours, Dima, miss some extra views of these fields : another time, maybe ?
An other surprise : I expected to see plenty of solar panels to produce electrical power for this Kibbutz. I saw none.
That seems strange to me, knowing that Kibbutz Netzer Sereni is not, after all, so far from the Negev Desert.
