Actually Israel considered a dirty country. What u see here is a new neighborhood in the far north of the city. In hope in the future we'll all get a chance for clean and modern design neighborhoods.
Well, there are plenty of towns with areas that are not so clean and pretty (as in any city in the world)... drive around the non tourist areas of Tiberias, most of my Israeli colleagues don't go to Tiberias unless they have to 🤣
The ambient rain sound here is very nice!! When my wife suggested going to Israel and volunteering on an archaeological dig in the early '90's all could think was "Israel, desert, sand, camels, brown landscape,... nahhh!" I'm so glad she convinced me!! Actually seeing the variety of landscapes (sure, a lot of it is brown, but we're there always in June after everything has dried out! 🤣) sure changed my attitude! One June at our dig in Galilee we did get a very rare thunderstorm (lasted a whole 30 minutes! 😆), it was so refreshing!!!

It would be nice to have translations of some of the signs - street signs, shop signs, building names, etc. - that are only in Hebrew or Arabic. I would like to get translations of the bits of conversations, songs of street singers, audio broadcasts, etc. that we often hear as you walk along. No need to translate everything, but I think it would add to the pleasure of the experience . . . if it was possible to provide such translations.
