I absolutely love theses flower cookies! I'm always challenged in trying to come up with pretty designs for flower cookies. yours are wonderful!!! Thank you for sharing. ♡
More beautiful cookies! I love them. Also, I don't think you'd remember but I commented on another video. You directed me to your sugar cookie recipe. I just wanted to let you know that I tried out your recipe and everything came out so beautiful! Thank you so much.
+Karl Fulgencio Thank you! I've really glad my recipe worked for you, there's a lot out there, and often people prefer something softer and chewier. I like a bit of crunch!
Daniela Pagliaro Thank you! There are several cutters used for this video. Nearly all come from eBay, and most are flower cutters from a simple plastic cutter set. The first cookie is actually from a nesting set of snowflake cutters!
Thank you. That's a shame, are you able to get stuff sent from the US (where they have EVERYTHING you could want cookie-wise), or is that too expensive?
Bom dia, nem acredito que existe a possibilidade de você me enviar, eu posso depositar um valor em sua conta bancária e você me enviaria para o Brazil? Se acontecer serei a pessoa mais feliz do mundo , obrigada por responder
Love your videos thanks for sharing... Sorry if I missed your answer, I scrolled and read many comments but did not see your answer to this question...In your videos I notice a plastic roller on top of your icing bag? I searched the comments but missed what it is?
Esraa C thanks! It's slightly thicker than 20 seconds, as I didn't want the sections to merge into each other. It's more like soft toothpaste consistency.
Hi Irma, thank you. I get my cookie cutters from all over - some of these I got from my local supermarket, I trawl eBay too, and pick them up if I see them here and there! The white in the centre is a home-made royal icing transfer. Basically round circles of damp white icing sprinkled with granulated sugar, allowed to dry and packed into airtight pots (I've made them in many different colours). My piping bags are disposable ones of the 'Master' brand which are sold in sets of 100 on eBay or Amazon and are very cheap, though they come from China, take a long time to get here, and the quality control can be variable, so sometimes you get a set that have weak seams.
+Shannon Shockley Hi Shannon, thank you! The centres are royal icing 'transfers' I made seperately and dried, before using on these flowers. Just rounds of icing, with sugar sprinkled on top, and left to dry. They can be kept for months. :-)
keempossible88 Hi, Thank you. I used a variety. For the flat areas I just cut the tip off a disposable piping bag. For the flower with lines I used a PME #3, and for the details I used #1 & #1.5.
Hi. Yes, I used mostly lustre dusts by Sugarflair, sometimes pearl dusts by Rainbow Dust (I get them from eBay, they're also available on Amazon and various cake supply online stores in the UK, not sure how easy they are to get hold of outside the UK, but if you google edible lustre dust (or petal dust for the non shiny kind) you'll find out what's available where you are. The plastic grips are Oxo Good Grips bag cinches, which are spring loaded so you can ease them down the bag as the icing gets used up. I've found them here on Amazon.com www.amazon.com/OXO-Good-Grips-Bag-Cinch/dp/B003M8GMZ4/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1473854009&sr=1-1&keywords=oxo+good+grips+bag+cinch
Veronica Rivera hi, sorry for the late reply. I use Sugarflair colours, and often just use ice blue, melon yellow, and a touch of chestnut, rather than premade greens.
Hi. They're from a variety of sources. The round edged flowers are from a set like this: tinyurl.com/zm8ml2m The more pointy edged flowers were actually sold as snowflakes in my local supermarket, similar to these but more rounded: tinyurl.com/zlq7xml The leaf is a standard cookie cutter you find all over, like this set (though mine was a cheap thing from China I think): tinyurl.com/zgw7dtx
Hello! Please write how do you transfer the picture to a cookie? What technique do you use to transfer the picture? What tools do you use? I tried to find the answers on the website of Julia, but I did not find them for you. Thanks
Hi. I use Silver Spoon ready prepared royal icing (a mix of powdered sugar and dried egg white). I add my own mix of salt, lemon juice, etc. to get the flavour I want, but otherwise it's so easy to just add water to the required consistency.
I use Silver Spoon Royal Icing (it's British grown sugar so is readily available in UK supermarkets). It's ingredients are powdered sugar, dried egg white and an anti-caking agent. www.amazon.com/Silver-Spoon-Royal-Icing-Sugar/dp/B00BHFD112/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1468673140&sr=8-1&keywords=silver+spoon+royal+icing

Barbara Holzmann Thank you. It’s an Oxo Good Grips Bag Cinch, they’re available in various places online, including Amazon.
great!! did you use 20 seconds consistency for the multi petals in the second flower??
Esraa C thanks! It's slightly thicker than 20 seconds, as I didn't want the sections to merge into each other. It's more like soft toothpaste consistency.
Beautiful where did you get the cookie cutters and what is the white that you put on the center of the cookie, what do you use for your piping bag

ainda assim muito obrigada por ter me dado atenção
I love these cookies, very pretty and unique! What is the center of the flower that you placed separately if you don't mind me asking?
+Shannon Shockley Hi Shannon, thank you! The centres are royal icing 'transfers' I made seperately and dried, before using on these flowers. Just rounds of icing, with sugar sprinkled on top, and left to dry. They can be kept for months. :-)
what are you sprinkling on top of the cookies?
Hi. I’m using white sugar pearls or nonpareils
can you share the link to the blue thing on your piping bag? thanks

did you brush the center with a powder tint? where can one buy these or what are they called? Thanks so much

Can I ask how you achieved the green you used for the leaf?
Veronica Rivera hi, sorry for the late reply. I use Sugarflair colours, and often just use ice blue, melon yellow, and a touch of chestnut, rather than premade greens.

Galina Lapshina hi. These cookies were just done by eye, but I copy complex designs onto the cookie surface using a pico projector and a scribe tool.
Спасибо большое.
Thanks for the answer. Can you share the site where to buy such a projector? I will be very grateful. I wish successes in creativity. lapg61@yandex.ru
what is your recipe for this icing?
Hi. I use Silver Spoon ready prepared royal icing (a mix of powdered sugar and dried egg white). I add my own mix of salt, lemon juice, etc. to get the flavour I want, but otherwise it's so easy to just add water to the required consistency.
