I was really happy to see the G3C on the list. I'm usually a Glock guy, but I grabbed a G3C as an extra gun to toss in the basement for a rainy day. I'm very impressed with it. It's been 100% reliable. Great capacity for it's size, small enough to easily conceal yet big enough to enjoy it at the range and great steel magazines that easily drop free. I recommend it often to new shooters on a budget. Edit: it also takes Glock compatible sights.
I had purchased my 1st 2nd and 3rd carry guns based on Honest Outlaw's reviews and recommendations and I can't be happier. My Taurus, shield plus and SC Elite are my go to CCW
I was happy to see the G3C on that list. Some people trash talk Taurus, but they have come a long way in a short time with regards to quality and reliability.
I agree they have came a long way. I personally dont think I'll be trying Taurus for a while had 2 different g2c's that couldn't make it through a single 12 round mag was ridiculous. Gave them both 500 plus rounds to break in Multiple types of ammo and +p. Only after changing guid rod ,striker spring and striker retainer from lake line llc would they preform decently well. So I let a few years go buy and bought a g3c thinking they must of been much improved. 2 mags made it through and exact same problems of the g2c. Same part swap out from lake line and it preforms flawlessly. Once Taurus gets there quality control in check in a big way it they will be top tier in the budget world.
The LCP MAX is my carry gun. Was glad to see it on your list. I purchased a Canik TP9DA a couple of months ago because I wanted an inexpensive 9mm with 18 round capacity. It fits the bill. Your Canik reviews are a big reason I chose it. Thank you for all that you do.
I have LCP Max, Taurus G3c, and Canik Rival. The LCP Max has a terrible trigger and is much harder to shoot but it makes up for it with its light weight and small size allowing one to carry in pocket holster in one's summer shorts. Most people have shot mine looked at me when they could not get it to fire. I tell them to just pull harder. Some recommend Hogue LCP II grip sleeve and cutting off short edges of trigger to prevent finger pinching. Both helped a lot. I needed the grip sleeve to control the nasty muzzle snap. The 12 round mags swell fully loaded making them difficult to lock into the mag well. The G3c trigger is okay at best as it has a lot of travel far back before it breaks. I like the trigger in the Shield Plus much better. The shield was $550 last year when I paid about $230 for the G3c. Shield Plus MSRP was lowered a few months ago to $400. Negative is no light rail on Shield Plus and the mags may still be hard to find. Canik Rival is great for competitions with crisp trigger break and short reset.
The Canik TP9 Elite sc is my #1 carry option. I own a Hellcat, PDP, PPS M2, Canik Mete, and a several 380's. I almost always carry the Elite sc, to me it's just the right size, small enough to carry but large enough to shoot acuratly. Plus it comes optic ready!
@@jamaaloverton7558 Yes, same with the full size PDP's. My #2 choice is usually my PPS M2, thinner and lighter so a little easier to carry with lighter cloths, but still big enough to shoot accuratly and comfortably. I've found out by trial and error subcompacts aren't for me.
Picked up a Canik at a show in Des Moines a couple years ago after seeing the spec sheet, couldn't be happier, and glad to know it holds up to the competition!
P10C is my favorite striker fired pistol of all time. 2500 rounds zero issues. My wife runs a Canik TP9 Elite SC. 3000 rounds zero issues. She got it for $360 on Black Friday and I got her an RMSC for $215. She loves that gun so much and recommends it to every single person at our local gun store.
100% agreed. I own an optics equipped P10F, a P10C AND a P10S. They are incredible firearms. Ergonomics, grip texture, low bore axis, great trigger, good sights, awesome controls, great grip angle, solid barrels, all far better than stock glock features. I've been using the full sized P10F with a Holosun red dot as my race gun. It's so accurate, it's like shooting a rifle lol!
I love my P10C and probably have nearly 10k rounds through it. Flawless performance and accuracy. That being said, I recently picked up a Walther PDP Pro 5.1 inch that has the best trigger this side of a 1911. Definitely the best striker trigger imho.
@@thetacticalape8852 shot the 4.5in PDP. Trigger was amazing. Gun was a little on the lighter side for me and had a lot more recoil. I’d imagine the Pro series PDP trigger feels similar to the Canik Rival which is the best trigger I’ve felt apart from a 1911.
My dad carried a .38 LCR on his ankle as a backup gun when he was a cop. One time he got overpowered by a large man who had him on the ground trying to wrestle his service pistol from the holster. My dad grabbed the LCR off his ankle, stuck it in the guy’s chest and was literally a second from pulling the trigger when his backup showed up and subdued the man. I think it’s hard to justify picking a revolver as a carry gun in a world of affordable and reliable micro 9’s, but as was said in the video, they’re very optimal for specific CQB situations like that.
I’m in the exact situation. I bought the 17 rd mag and later bought the specter slide with the built on comp. I call it my franken-sig but man is it sweet
If anyone is curious, the P10S (12+1 capacity, 3.5" barrel) is the sub compact P10...and very soft shooting for their size. Same amazing trigger and ergos as the larger C & F. Not as slender as the Hellcat/GX4/365/Shield Plus, but if you like carrying the basic "platform" all the time, it might be an answer for you if you like the P10.
I have some pretty expensive guns based on most peoples opinions. That being said I trust my GX4 more than the G3C. My GX4 had 2,300 rounds thru it of many different types of ammo and it's never malfunctioned. It's accurate too!!!!
I thought about getting a GX4 Toro to replace my Ruger EC9S as my carry gun. I need to look more into it. I'd like to put a red dot and a light on it, so that'll depend on holster availability.
My GX4 has parked several pistols that cost much more My go to pistol Runs on anything and everything… and my G3X … is also another carry favorite of mine
@@MrBuckeye63 I actually have G3X too. It isn't going anywhere in your hand. It's got more grip than my M&P's. I got a hell of a deal on that too and it's been pretty good.
I put over 15,000 rounds thru my g2c owned it for over 5 years now upgraded the trigger firing pin engravers cut the slide out the g3c toro slide on it now i will take the weapon over all on this list plus i polish all the interior metals this one bad ass g2c/g3c toro hybrid now - good video as usual !!!!
I carry a SarUSA 9mm as one of my EDC guns. I've never had a malfunction or any issues. Shoots fast, accurate and super reliable. Biggest bonus, I paid $300 for it. I've never seen it on a list. Overall, great gun. I switch between it a d my Glock 19x.
I picked up the G3 for $150 as an impulse purchase for the wife as a range toy, but have to admit I was actually impressed for a cheap gun. We've had it for a year now and can't say we've had a problem with it. Lots of rounds through it doesn't jam and nothing's broken. Don't get me wrong neither one of us want to carry the thing, nor am I saying everyone would have the same experience with their perches but impressive for $150 never the less.
I bought the G2c because I wanted an inexpensive gun I can leave in my car, when at the bar, incase it gets stollen, because that's how gun control works🤨
P365XL 9mm here. Going on 5000 rounds without a hiccup. Just for fun, upgrading to a Shalotek slide with integral compensation without having to go to a shorter barrel (like the XComp)... might see a Wilson Combat grip module (loving the module thang) to upgrade the capacity... one paycheck at a time...
Surprised Glock didn't make the list. Happy to see my P365 on the list, I have to have it because I live in Oregon where you now have to have 10-rnd magazines in order to carry a gun with you in public. Can you do video on 10-rnd guns for those of us who live in places like Oregon, Washington, California, Colorado, Washington DC, New York, New Jersey, etc?
Canik for the win, again 🙌🏼!! I honestly bought my TP9-SFX because of your reviews and I have yet to regret it. It's been an absolutely solid performer and has been completely reliable. I have it in my nightstand so I'm trusting my family's safety with it. Thanks for the vid, I know several people I can send this to that are in the market for the $500-600 range. Nice work.
@@baconeggstoast5327 not on both at the same time. It is reversible. Fairly easily as well, but the slide lever is not. The TP9 SC is ambidextrous though
@@baconeggstoast5327 oh it's quite a bit bigger than the SC. I'd only CCW the SFx in the winter with a big coat 😂. Or open carry with great retention. Otherwise, the SC is the way to go for CCW. I was very close to buying that one, but the SFx is great for home defense and for a first gun (which it is mine). I'm 99% sure my next will be the TP9 SC though. Especially since the mags are interchangeable.
The Walther PDP Compact is an absolutely beautiful handgun, which is available in 4", 4.5" and 5" barrels, as well as an "F" frame, sized for smaller hands. There are of course a lot of great choices here!
Yep, hard to go wrong with Walther. I have the PPQ SC which allows you to carry a short 10 rd magazine with a backup 15 rd. Got it around $450 like new. Most ergonomic pistol I've ever used.
The Ruger LCP Max is my go-to carry gun, and it was great to see it on your channel. Living in a major city where any kind of noticeable imprint will draw all kinds of attention, it's great to have a capable pocket gun.
Thanks for the video. I'm a big Taurus G3 fan. I started out a training class with a small 380 because I was told I should train with what I typically carry and with that small 380 I always carried it because it's so small and unobtrusive. However during the training I took, it became cumbersome loading 8 round magazines all the time so I switched to my G3 backup gun to complete the course. Although it is not my primary EDC (and neither is a 380 anymore) the Taurus G3 did not have a single malfunction in nearly a thousand rounds.
I carry the Taurus g3c every single day rain or shine grocery store run or church. Love my Taurus and I NEVER thought I would say those words you can not beat the price for performance ratio in my honest opinion.
Have had the Taurus PT111 Millennium G2 for a number of years and have carried it for more than a few. 12 +1 capacity. Very accurate out to 20 yards....my range. It conceals very well, ergonomics are great and it is light enough to not be noticed when carried all day. I have found it to be reliable when routinely cleaned after 200 rounds or so....also polish the feed ramp at that time as well. Only complaint is that the magazines rattle around a bit.
I have had a Millennium G2 for 7 years. Never a complaint. I truly don't understand all the Taurus hate that is out there. Maybe it is buyer remorse for buying a gun that cost twice as much as a Taurus, and doesn't deliver twice the value.
Put one of your girlfriend's hair ties on your magazine It will stop the rattle Then just leave it. I love my G2C also had it 2 years And never a hickup.
I've carried so many different compacts and subcompact pistols over the years. I was carrying the G42, then the 43x when it came out, the sheild, the XDS, the Hellcat, etc. Now my first choice for EDC is definitely the P365. The second best for me is the CZ P10c or the new P10s. CZ is BY FAR my alltime favorite firearms manufacturer though, the P365 just fits my smaller hands extremely well.
I carried a Ruger LCP .380 for years and it was awesome for when I bicycled as it was so small and light weight. With all the civil unrest for the last couple of years I decided to step up to a Glock 43X 9mm carry as it's a decent size for exercising and fits well in a cargo short pocket. Just bought a Canik TP9SF and may carry it as it's not too big to be uncomfortable.
Again, I can say that I didn't make a mistake when couple years ago, I bought that Canik SC , where I was initially actually surprised how accurate it is. Thanks for the video. 👍👍
One thing to add about the Caniks. I think aside from their One series, which was designed to budget out as much as they could to be as cheap as possible, cheaper slide coating only one mag, no foam cutouts for the box just eggcrate pattern, they all come with a holster. maybe not the best holster, but for the ability to carry right out of the box quite literally, that is some serious value.
CZ P10C has been phenomenal. 1000s of rounds in it and not a single issue. The only reason I couldn't recommend it as #1 is at the time of purchasing mine there was no optics ready models. I am planning on getting the slide milled eventually as I already have the optic for it.
Glad you mentioned the shootability of the shield. I've carried a performance center shield for years and chose it over other options because of how it felt in the hand and how consist i am when shooting it. Find what works for you and you'll be happy.
All of the CZ P series is a win. The F,C or S. The single stack M model i do not have experience with, but i own the F,C and S and have owned in the past the P07. All of them are awesome in my opinion.
The 4” performance center shield plus is criminally slept on. It’s similar in size to the p365xl, which if anything is even more popular than the original p365, but yet for some weird reason it doesn’t get as much love as the normal shield plus. I think it’d be much more popular if S&W marketed it more but I guess at the same time I kind of like having something that’s more uncommon and unique. It really is a hidden gem.
I'd like the longer barrel....BUT...orange should not be in the rear visually distracting you. Also same exact size Arex Delta holds more so there is that.
@@DanTheWolfman Are you referring to the orange/red fiber optic sights? I don’t mind them but I personally switched them out for black inserts. So mine is just blacked out rears with a green front fiber optic. Super easy to do. Also, I’m a huge arex fan myself and I think they’re criminally under appreciated. But even still it’s hard to compare them as far as proven reliability and track record go. The shield plus is also much more versatile with its ability to take the smaller 10 round magazine for easier concealment. Not to mention Smith released that new 15 round magazine, and with magguts you can bump your 13 rounder up to 15 as well. So there isn’t really a big difference in capacity. On a side note I also have a American founded and made bias too admittedly. But hey if you love your arex delta M then fair enough brother. They make great guns and I respect the hell out of them.
I've been shooting a 9mm Canik TP9SA for around 5 years now and it's so much better than all of the more popular 9mm options (and people haven't even heard of it most of the time).
My current carry gun is a Sig P365-380.The grip is a bit small so I got a Wilson Combat grip module which fills my hand a bit better. The pistol is fairly light, but not so light that it's unpleasant to shoot like a lot of other micro-380s, and I feel extremely confident with it. During the colder months I have an HK VP9SK that is easier for me to conceal with heavier clothing. And I feel I need the extra umph of 9mm during the winter to get penetration thru heavier clothing if that situation arises.
I've been eyeing the p365-380. Looks like a pleasant low recoil shooter with still enough just enough capacity, reliability, and lethality. Only downside I've heard is less forgiving with bad grip which can cause malfunctions.
The Mossberg MC2C seems to be getting a lot of positive attention lately. Would love to see you put one of these through the paces to see how it stacks up.
I never thought I would own a striker fired pistol. The CZ P-10 S is my EDC (with some mods). My 1911A1 and my Kimber Micro 9 are backup...my CZ Shadow 2 is being ignored until I can get some competition training. Great video. Peace Outlaw!
Excellent video. Several outstanding handguns on the list. The Ruger LCRx (with exposed hammer) shown in the video is a variation of the LCR. Both are very good wheel guns and the LCR (enclosed hammer) might be a better choice for a carry gun. Keep up the good work.
I'm so glad 3 guns I own made the list 😁 What surprised me most is how often I carry my LCP Max. It's perfect for the AZ heat and it serves primarily as my gym carry when I wear my hootchie short shorts.
I have the P365XL, love it, but frequently carry the GX4 instead. It fits in a cargo pocket better. I also have the LCP Max and it gets a lot of carry time too. My revolver choices are a 856UL and a 5 shot Charter 357 snubbie. I had a P320 SC, but it felt like a brick to conceal. Its almost the exact size of the Canik TP9SC, so I passed up the Canik. There's nothing wrong with a G3C, I owned one. But I think the GX4 would be a better choice.
I'm buying my first autoloading pistol next month and currently the CZ P10-C OR is at the top of my list. I may consider also Canik TP9-SC and Hellcat Pro, but the way CZ handles and shoots in my hand is really hard to beat. Maybe P10-S OR would be more suitable for carry, but I really don't want to compromise the shootability. P10-S balances very well in my hand, but I haven't shot it yet.
Another great video Honest Outlaw! My favorite 2 this year are the Shield Plus (especially after the new S&W pricing) if you are looking for a concealed carry option and the Beretta APX A1 Full size if you want a larger pistol. The Shield Plus is 4 benjys and the optics ready version (also includes night sights) for 4.5 benjys. It's tiny, extremely shootable for its size, has excellent grip texture, the grip swells out to fit my hands, has the best trigger in its category, and has excellent capacity. The APX A1 Full size can be had for 379-429 (479 max if you don't feel like looking for a deal) and it has so many improvements over the original APX Full size. It has a deeper grip and beavertail area to really get under the gun, comes optics ready, has night sights, better ergonomics, lack of finger grooves, slightly better trigger (still meh though unless you are used to Glocks triggers), better slide serrations, double trigger undercut, new recoil spring that should theoretically last longer, better checkering on the grip and frame, and supposedly the finish is more durable. At that price it's cheaper than the original RDO APX if you want an optics ready pistol but it comes with more improvements. If you are willing to spend a little more the Walther PDP and Sig P365 XMacro are excellent guns for the cost.
Nice descriptions! You highlighted my two favorites from this list. Mr. Outlaw might be a bit misinformed WRT the APX A1 for which there are basically no holsters available (no compatibility between the original and the A1).
Just bought my first Canik, TP9 SC elite, wanted a CCW that can flex into a home defense firearm, based on your reviews/advice… Great trigger that compares to a Walther trigger… mines came with both a 12 and 15 rd mag, love it so far
I ended up getting a M&P Shield Performance Center. Been very impressed with it. Thanks for this video and others i wanted to get something reliable for the money and you helped me decide.
What’s up outlaw! Your reviews of the Tp9 elite sc are what convinced me to get that over the other 2 I was debating. Glad to see it made #1 on your list again. I’ve been carrying it for about 9months now and seeing it top your list a second time gives me added confidence in the decision. Thanks again
I had one and sold it, it was a good gun sure, but I was really disappointed in the ergonomics and how damn chunky it was compared to how short the magwell is.
@@jaymylar1726 I agree, it is chunky. I’m ok with the capacity, and after wearing it for a month or so, got used to the feel of it iwb. Now I know it’s there but it doesn’t cause any discomfort. I’m curious, like kipp, what did you replace it with?
Mind blown. I called the P-07 as his number one before ever clicking the video. Was dead sure it was his number one the whole way through, then about got the wind knocked out of me. Guess I've got some guns to go shoot now. Thanks Chris, love the videos!
My top 3 that I am currently rotating are, SW MP Shield +, Hellcat Pro, and as of about three months ago Canik METE MC9. My wife packs her Ruger LCP Max 380 or her Beretta APXA1 Carry or sometimes my Ruger Max 9. All good guns. Keep up the good work and the reviews! ABC! 🇺🇸
First, and I'm hoping the Taurus G3C is on here cuz I just picked one up at Rural King for $200 brand new (w/$25 rebate) in stainless steel with three mags. It's a really nice little gun. Hope Chris likes them enough to put them in this list. Aaaahjhhjhj.... How Perfect!!!!!! Man, you just totally made my day 😀😀😀
Chris... Should I have Olight Baldr Minis on my carry guns (and it's them or nothing for the cost). Is a light and laser useful/practical on carry G3C or G19 or just a gimmick? And remember, you shoot about wayyyy better than me/us.
@Honest.outlaw_ just a quick addition to my last comment. My son got me the Taurus 17 round mag for my G3C. Great fit. Love the fit and finish. I’ll definitely pick up a couple more for the range. 👍🏼
I absolutely love my canik tp9 sc. The 15 rd mag is perfect for my big ass hands. Only downside, the mags are freakin' expensive and usually out of stock. The 12 rounder works, but it's got a bit of pinky hangover. Great list, man. I'm gonna have to try some of these.
I carry a P10s. Feels great in my hand just like the P10c. I've tried many micro 9s and keep coming back to the subcompacts (P10s & M&P 2.0) Plus, you can carry a 19 or 17 round backup mag.
I got my shield plus for 350 bucks brand new. Came with 2 ten round mags and 1 13rd. I've carried Walthers, sigs, glocks but for the money the shield plus is BY FAR your best option!
@@tillman40 heavier but extremely light for a metal frame and very controllable recoil. 13+1 but exact same dimensions as my Glock 26 with a Gen 5 12+1 mag
Bro like you I have been blessed with a great arsenal and out of my collection of very good very expensive weapons my 24/7 companion is my TP9 ELITE sc !!! It is with me always!!!! Great review!!! As always!!!
Just added a Shield Plus to my EDC rotation and absolutely loving it! Tiny, light, but 10+1 capacity and a grip you can grab onto (I'm in WA, a 10-round max state, so I added mag extensions to my mags to get that grip). Just an amazing little pistol that I grabbed for $375. Amazing. And a great comparison video, btw!
I can't say enough about the LCP max. I can hit a center mass target at 40 yards. Brass ammo, steel ammo, aluminum ammo, hollow point ammo runs flawless.
I feel that the Gx4 is under appreciated in list like this. It's smaller then the G3c, better trigger, backstraps and 11+1 capacity. I like the G3c, but my Gx4 is better.
I have all of the G series’s. Can confirm the GX4 is worthy. But the G3C has more magazine options, more aftermarket support and it’s cheaper which gives it that edge. The GX4 TORO with a Holosun 507k is my EDC, G3 is the nightstand gun (alongside my AR15) and the G3C is the adaptable truck gun. They all have their roles. To anyone curious, try before you buy. If I could pick ONLY ONE I’d say the G3C primarily due to the fact that they can go from compact to full-sized with a factory magazine from a G3.
I’m very similar. G3c with a light is my nightstand gun and Gx4 with the 407k Holosun is my everyday carry in the winter. In the summer, I need something a little bit smaller so I go with the LCP Max with the 12+1 mag.
@@syrialyze7654 I’m in no way putting down the Gx4, I just like the option of the multiple mag capability. Last I heard the Gx4 didn’t have the toro option yet. I knew they would get to it eventually and that does make it more desirable in my old and failing eyes.
Your channel has become a go to for me. My bad for taking so long to hit the subscribe button. I have a macro and a 365x. I even have sig 210c. But lately I have been carrying my 1911 a lot. Sometimes you just want to carry a .45. Came across a SDS Tisas carry in .45 at my local shop. Wanted to get your thoughts on that company. My full size is a kimber custom 2 (two tone). Keep up the good work.
Love my Canik TC Elite with the Shield SMS. Amazing for the price. Never had an issue at the range! Love your top ten list. Thanks again for all your reviews
I carry my P07 Duty primarily, but I don't like how obvious it is when I carry it in the summer months. I don't like to wear baggy clothes (gotta show off my body's attached guns!), and concealing a full size frame is near impossible. I've been thinking of picking up the P365x as a summer carry piece.
I bought the Canik tps9elite sc because of your recommendations. I knew you wouldn't lie about it or disappointe me and believe me you did not Chris. That pistol will do everything you said it would and dollar for dollar it's damn hard to beat it in this economy. Thank-you so much love the Canik tp9 elite SC.
Bought the LCP Max for my birthday as a “walk to the mailbox gun” and ended up loving the little thing whenever I’m wearing shorts or sweats, especially in the summer.
Great video! Just don't understand why the Taurus G3C it's on the list instead of the GX4 T.O.R.O. I had a G2C as a carry weapon(had some issues), and when I change it, the G3C didn't even cross my mind, I went straight to the GX4, 350rds and zero malfunctions so far.
I have the Canik TP9SFX and love it. I thought the SC was #1 last year and I was wondering the whole time if it completely dropped off the list or stayed at the top. Probably need to grab one😃
Praise worthy, for $70!The only issue was the round gasket ring seal between the CO2 and needle ruclips.net/user/postUgkxnX9wE_Q8zvF75Y5iWzTU3Q4FlrtyGApQ . Withered away, and I'm having a tough time finding a replacement.Gun still works perfectly, but needs a new gasket. Can someone please say where to find the gasket replacement?
I always watch your reviews to help me make my decisions on guns I own or want to purchase. I definately agree with your number 1. I also have the SC Elite and it feels great, extremely accurate out of the box and extremely great trigger. Love your vids Outlaw keep up with these awesome vids
I just purchased a canik tp9 elite sc and i dont think i ill ever carry a different gun again. Since i bought it, it has been glued to my hip lol. I cannot recommend it enough!
Great list, Honest Outlaw !! I own several firearms listed & and after the video, I will be adding the P3655X Macro to my EDC rotation !! I hear nothing but good things about Sig (I'm a S&W gal), but the presentation and overall feel of this gun seems like a no Brainer. Great video !
I just bought a hellcat. Unfortunately the dealer didn't have the hellcat pro in stock at the time so I bought the standard hellcat. No complaints so far
Glad to see the G3C on the list. One of the three EDC in my rotation along with Glock 43X and S&W M&P 40c. I've added 15 round mags, Talon grip tape, and tritium front sight.
Just bought the Elite SC today because of this video and I gotta say......This is a gun I would pay double the money for, haven't gotten to shoot it yet but it's a beauty. I've probably dry fired it 600 times and I'm still coming back for more, can't wait to take it to the range. One of the guys I met in my local gun shop today said he owned 3 Caniks and loved every one of them. Being this was the first gun I saw when I went in I instantly knew it was fate.

Nice to hear.
I had purchased my 1st 2nd and 3rd carry guns based on Honest Outlaw's reviews and recommendations and I can't be happier. My Taurus, shield plus and SC Elite are my go to CCW
Me too, friend.
I was happy to see the G3C on that list. Some people trash talk Taurus, but they have come a long way in a short time with regards to quality and reliability.
Trash, trash, trash, talk, talk, talk.
I agree. I have an older G2 and after probably 1000 rds or so. ive never had any issues. i got mine for $220 means more $$ for ammo :)
Agreed!! I carry a g3 right now, don’t bash it’s my first gun. I put close to 500 rounds in it and it’s been good so far
Not bashing it, but the wife tried it out in the store and she hated the grip.
The concept of a decocker or DA/SA on a striker fired is brilliant
Youre about to get hooked now I have 4 caniks and a Walther PDP and I prefer the caniks especially the TP9 Elite Combat Executive
@@Sig_P229 walther p99 clone great guns
My wife and I both carry the max. Awesome little gun!
Absolutely the best unbiased gun reviews on RUclips, Thank You Sir for what you do...
☝️ditto
I carry the canik tp9sf elite everyday I prefer the compact over the subcompact
Trying to carry a fully loaded METE is touch sledding
How is the trigger on the cz p10s. Always been curious, does it have as much take up as canik?
@@nu5270 slightly more take up, but a smooth crisp, audible break, and short reset. I can run my P10C with speed and accuracy.
I love my P365xl spectre comp, I also almost never recommend it to people given its cost relative to the x-macro.
I switch from a 1911A1 or M9, I carry a Glock 26 as a BUG
I’m in the exact situation. I bought the 17 rd mag and later bought the specter slide with the built on comp. I call it my franken-sig but man is it sweet
If anyone is curious, the P10S (12+1 capacity, 3.5" barrel) is the sub compact P10...and very soft shooting for their size. Same amazing trigger and ergos as the larger C & F. Not as slender as the Hellcat/GX4/365/Shield Plus, but if you like carrying the basic "platform" all the time, it might be an answer for you if you like the P10.
Excellent gun!

My edc is the GX4. Trust it with my life
I bought the G2c because I wanted an inexpensive gun I can leave in my car, when at the bar, incase it gets stollen, because that's how gun control works🤨
Hell yeah bro. Bought my teen sister a g2 a few years back for 190 and it was great for a learner pistol/range weapon.

Nice work.

Apparently F is Flagship not female lol
Yep, hard to go wrong with Walther. I have the PPQ SC which allows you to carry a short 10 rd magazine with a backup 15 rd. Got it around $450 like new. Most ergonomic pistol I've ever used.

The Ruger LCP Max is my go-to carry gun, and it was great to see it on your channel. Living in a major city where any kind of noticeable imprint will draw all kinds of attention, it's great to have a capable pocket gun.
Between you and my brother, I had to own a Canik, and I have to say I am not let down at all. They're incredible firearms for the $
Yes sir I have 9 never let me down also
I own the shield the canik and the Taurus. I'm budget oriented as you can tell. I like the canik best and is what I carry most often
I respect someone who goes to a church that makes you feel a need to carry.
I have the same as a EDC and love it. Picked up a G2C as well. Awesome little guns.
I've got the Hellcat now and was thinking of switching to the P365 Max or CZ P10C to reduce muzzle flip and increase accuracy after the first shot.
@@firstperson4018 get the CZ. I like my sigs, but the CZ is a much better value.
Can’t beat the Canik! Especially for the price. One of the best striker-fire triggers at any price, let alone
I love my G3C. I’ve shot thousands of rounds through it. All kinds, silver tips, MHP, expensive and cheap rounds. Not a single malfunction yet.
I currently have #10, #5 and #1 in my arsenal, but I'm not opposed to expanding on my weaponry. Thanks for the shopping 🛒 list.
CZ P10C has been phenomenal. 1000s of rounds in it and not a single issue. The only reason I couldn't recommend it as #1 is at the time of purchasing mine there was no optics ready models. I am planning on getting the slide milled eventually as I already have the optic for it.
I also wanted a optics ready p10 couldn’t get it so got mine milled from jagerwerks awesome gun for sure
Glad you mentioned the shootability of the shield. I've carried a performance center shield for years and chose it over other options because of how it felt in the hand and how consist i am when shooting it. Find what works for you and you'll be happy.
The 365 is a very solid choice.
All of the CZ P series is a win. The F,C or S. The single stack M model i do not have experience with, but i own the F,C and S and have owned in the past the P07. All of them are awesome in my opinion.
I've been carrying a czP07 now for the last three years , been eyeballing a few on this list but I always seem to go back the p07 , great video!
Those are discontinued now aren't they?
I've got a Ruger LCR chambered in 9mm and it's an awesome gun for carrying in a coat pocket during the cold months.
I like the longer barrel, not a fan of the bigger grip.
@@kellym3531 The grip is the same size though
I'd like the longer barrel....BUT...orange should not be in the rear visually distracting you. Also same exact size Arex Delta holds more so there is that.
shit you've convinced me. picking one up from brownells
@@DanTheWolfman
Are you referring to the orange/red fiber optic sights?
I have a Taurus G3 and love it. Over 1000 rounds through and hasnt ever had an issue. Not one. Great video. Looking to get a compact soon.
My previous LCPII has been replaced by the LCP Max. Slightly larger in the pocket, but much more shootable!
I kept my LCPII and got a P365-380 to go along with it. The Rugers are great for their light weight.
I bought the PDP compact when it first came out and it was the best spur of the moment purchase I ever had. Can't say enough good things about it
I have the P365XL, love it, but frequently carry the GX4 instead.

This popped up as I was looking for a video to watch, nice
I can't say enough about the LCP max. I can hit a center mass target at 40 yards. Brass ammo, steel ammo, aluminum ammo, hollow point ammo runs flawless.
I feel that the Gx4 is under appreciated in list like this. It's smaller then the G3c, better trigger, backstraps and 11+1 capacity. I like the G3c, but my Gx4 is better.
G3c can use 15 and 17 round magazines and has the option for a red dot.
@@fat_basturd5345 GX4 also has a TORO variant (Taurus Optics Ready Option), and I have one with a 507K X2 as my daily carry.
I own a Canik TP9 Elite SC because of this video along with me actually renting it on range day before I made my purchase.
I'm surprised you didn't have anything like a P07. I use a CZ P07, Walther PPQ SCM2 or a FEG PA63 as my carry options. Most of the time it's the P07.
My Taurus G2C with the Keep Tinkering trigger job and a 15 round mag is one of the most comfortable guns to carry and shoot I’ve used.
As a CZ fan boy, I’m hurt that it’s not at least in the top 5😢
Great video!
Just don't understand why the Taurus G3C it's on the list instead of the GX4 T.O.R.O.
I had a G2C as a carry weapon(had some issues), and when I change it, the G3C didn't even cross my mind, I went straight to the GX4, 350rds and zero malfunctions so far.
I have the Canik TP9SFX and love it. I thought the SC was #1 last year and I was wondering the whole time if it completely dropped off the list or stayed at the top. Probably need to grab one😃
Just got a tp9 elite sc a month ago, have put well over 1000 rounds through it with no issues, I absolutely love it.
Owned #1 since the summer ... amazing
I like the 365xl specter better, longer barrel and shorter grip that the 365x comp.
Did you get it? I did and I love it! Zero jams through 800 rounds so far.
@Root Beer No I haven't ourchased it yet, but I am going to next month at my local gun range. How's the recoil ? Did you throw a dot on it?
Thank goodness you can get the majority of these guns here in South Africa. Canik even has their own dedicated website for us
Been waiting on this one. Keep it up outlaw
