Just went there today. So sad the cinema, subway and many shops gone. But some stores like burger king , 7 eleven , liho, san francisco coffee , coffee bean, jaya grocer still around. The mall doesn't seems to flourish since i went there before covid 19. Inside the mall also most shops close. Hopefull will improve business after new transport system from the disconnected bridge outside build.
Hope this place will come to life once RTS start in 2026.. more s'poren will start to rent house at r&f condo they just wait for the right time.. hope mall tanent can sustain on to their business a bit more till 2026..
At top level got a massage place call zen pure massage, price as cheap as those in ksl , cleaner and easy to book appt. Good last checkpoint for massage before going back to singapore
It's location and design are terrible along with the usual poor construction standards. FFS, if they couldn't even get the floors level and at the correct heights then what else is there you can't see. It was doomed from the outset.
This development is a perfect example of everything that's wrong with Malaysia. It reeks of corruption and the abysmal construction standards are obvious throughout.
I understand your concerns, but I believe every development has the potential for improvement. Let's hope that future projects in Malaysia will focus on higher standards and transparency, benefiting everyone in the long run. Thank you for watching and hope you have a great day.🤟🤟✌️✌️🎉🎉🙏🙏😁😁
The concept of this mall is wrong, it is not suitable for a semi-outdoor mall, it is hot, slippery when it rains. You see, this mall doesn't have a canopy, even though this is important for dropping off passengers when it rains. The outdoor area should be covered with a glass roof (like shopping in Osaka). The concept of this mall must be changed if it wants to attract tenants. There will be more and more apartment residents (stage-2), but it is very ironic, malls are like this. Whose stupidity?
Yes, I think you are correct. The impact of COVID-19 has significantly contributed to the unfortunate decline of this mall. However, there is a lot of new development in the area, including the RTS link. Hopefully, the mall can recover, especially given its very strategic location. Hope you have a nice day, thank you for watching. ❤❤🎉🎉😊😊🙏🙏👍👍
@@WanderWalkTour It has nothing to do with Covid, the entire concept and location is flawed. I wouldn't want to anywhere near this in the event of an earthquake.
@@WanderWalkTour Covid was never the problem with this mall. It failed before then by opening with such a small amount of tenants. The same situation happened with the disaster that was Capital 21
@@SilverfoxJB Your ill educated opinion doesn't change facts. In 2002 a 7.2 magnitude earthquake off of the west coast of northern Sumatra cause damage to buildings in Batu Pahat and caused minor damage and tall buildings to sway in JB. Of course tall in 2002 is very different to 2024 and without the inclusion of earthquake mitigation is likely to have very significant effects. Add to that this development all sits on reclaimed land with no support other than the piling it all sits on. The real problem though is liquefaction which would drastically reduce the effectiveness of those piles that would then have no lateral support. Couple that with swaying and bad things start to happen very quickly. In 1922 there were two earthquakes centred in Johor so for you to say "We don't get earthquakes in this area" is nonsense.

Same situation in many places in Johor (Puteri Harbour for example).
新山并不是退休生活的好地方,因为新加坡输入性通货膨胀导致生活成本高昂。食品摊贩的收费标准是新加坡元。

Sadly, it never really took off. I thought it would be a success given it's position, but it's failed to attract enough major tenants.

Not to the developers who make the money and then leave a failed project behind them.
