- The Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe must be one of the most 'baller' cars in existence, quite literally the boss of the roads, so I took out an example from Top Line Motors in Dubai to see what it's about.

That roofline towards the rear and the rear window makes it look like one of those 1930s cars with a chop top. It is seriously the most glorious and evil C-pillar and rear 3/4 design of any production car ever. If I was an old mafia person, this would be the only vehicle I could allow myself to drive.

LOL, now it is all I can see! That's atrocious in a car at this price point.
Goot He's talking about the plastic steering column binnacle behind the wheel, which is definitely plastic, you can even see the screw covers as for some bizarre reason they have been put on the top of the binnacle. Pretty much every other car in this price bracket would have a leather wrapped binnacle.

I don't quite get what you mean, the names of the recent cars are called like that due to bmw buying Rolls-Royce from the Volkswagen Group after they bought her due to financial problems. The first Rolls's were called Phantom, Ghost etc. so they decided to name these ones like the first cars as in this beeing a new beginning.
+DiggedieDj Before the 5th generation of Phantom, I don't know much, but I guess you mean the newer models. So, we've got the Phantom (2003, sedan), Phantom EWB (2005, long wheelbase sedan), Phantom Drophead Coupe (2007, convertible), Phantom Coupe (2008, coupe). In 2012, appears the Phantom Series II which includes the same variants as the previous generation.
Also: Ghost (2010). A completely new sedan. Ghost EWB (2011, long wheelbase version) and Ghost Series II (2014).
Wraith (2013, coupe). A new coupe.
Dawn (2016, convertible). Something like the convertible version of Wraith.
Most of the models also have several special limited editions. Hope I helped!

As a replacement to your FF, buy the wraith! 4 seater, 2 doors, gd trunk size and it looks stunning!
Downside is the noise compared to the FF

Hi Tim, you just can't beat the Rolls-Royce for comfort and smooth driving as I said to you in a previous Vlog you should consider a Rolls-Royce wraith as you next car as you could pick up a nearly new one for good money. Kind Regards, Alan B

In 2006 there were touchscreen displays. You might want to search on other products with touchscreens. The iPhone was not the first one. Many phones with a touchscreen were released before. ;)

please use the correct terms when talking about a Rolls-Royce, they are not suicide doors, they are coach doors.
They are impressive, but I can't help but wonder how it will hold up in years to come. My uncle had a 1920 Silver Ghost many years ago, which even at some 80 years old was still an awesome machine... I can't imagine this thing even starting any more in 80 years, the electrics will be totally dead and impossible to repair.
This car is about uncompromising luxury and craftsmanship, NOT 'bang for your buck'; nor it it about having the latest tech or being quick around the Nurburgring. I own both a 2014 Mercedes E350 convertible and a 2016 S500 Coupe: do you know how amusing it is when someone in their soccer mom Focus RS or Golf R with Recaro seats tries to race me? The Rolls are amazing machines for what they are; nothing really beats their aura. Have people really not considered that Rolls clients own several other automobiles likely faster than your plastic POS hatch/ sporty estate?

Oh Rolls Royce the Dawn is nice but it’s not a replacement for one of these. The drop head coupe if my favourite, but this one is gorgeous.

Scherer Richard the phantom is much bigger, and ghost only comes in sedan, but like the last guy said, there are a lot of differences

Rohin Bakrania watching car videos and you need to ask this question? Haha. It's basically the volume of each cylinder. So say you have a 4 cylinder cat that has the volume ( cubic capacity) of 500cc then you'll have a 2L engine.

For that kind of money, if it was me, I'd rather wait for the rumoured Rolls Royce V16 roadster before I put an order in.
I saw one of these during a travellers wedding a couple of years ago. The lads inside trying to park it looked younger than me. It just doesn't suit young people this... I think it's the sort of car for aging mobsters. Probably one of the corleonie crew
