Great review. I have a 2021 Corolla Hatchback SE trim and for mpg's I'm now getting 42 mpg. I recently decided to keep this car and bought out my lease to this car and am glad I made the decision.
Hi, just wondering about the visibility through the front windshield. Any issue with the A pillars left to right visability(blind spots). I had a honda fit and this drove me crazy do to the slope of the windshield. I was considering buying a corolla hatchback . Thanks
Great video! Corollas are a great car if you can buy them for MSRP. Unfortunately here in Dallas, dealerships are charging 5k over MSRP for new 2024 Corollas. This is due to very high demand and low supply. I tried to negotiate price but they told me to either pay their price or leave. I left.
I test drove one and really like it. I think it’s overpriced for a plain interior, and I’m not crazy about CVT transmissions, but this car has that get up and go fun feel to it and will consider buying one. I too, like that these cars are Japanese assembled. I was taught to turn my head 180 degrees before changing lanes, so the blind spot issue isn’t necessary for myself who knows how to drive properly.
Just got a 2024 Toyota Corolla LE but unfortunately it was not a hatchback because the dealership that I went were sold out and only had 4 of the non-hatchback Corolla. Also, I unfortunately had to pay for the markup included with MSRP. Love the car

Toyota needs to make sure they have ample supplies of the hatches (etc) available for US buyers ....which they do not. The buyers must stop paying over the MSRP for this brand. We feel that Toyota is screwing themselves over in the long run. Their products are great, their business of selling these products is third rate at best. Based on this: Toyota is a 'do not buy'.
My only problem I have with this car in its CVT. Regardless of the manufacturer they are pieces of crap! If they would only go back to a six-speed automatic, or a six-speed manual I'd but one tomorrow!
What makes Toyota’s CVT so unique is its launch gear. Meaning it has a physical first gear and will go CVT mode after that, putting less stress on the system. Sure CVT may not last as long as a traditional automatic or manual, but Toyota has the best transmissions so they still last quite a bit if you take good care of them. But we can all agree that the CVTs Nissan has are crap.

Thanks for watching. Good move. Never pay markups.

Agree with you about CVT, but at least it has a mechanical first gear which is a huge advantage, and it’s made and installed in Japan.
Thanks
I'm getting one delivered & I was nervous if I'd like it.
My brother Ed Shafer bought it for me. Thank you so much!!!🎉😊
Congrats! I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for tuning in.

Hello, Is the Corolla Hatchback SE prewired for Fog lights that can be dealer installed? The XSE trim has Fog lights as standard. Thank you
I'd buy one tomorrow if it came in a Hybrid.

It's not Toyota at fault here, it's the greedy stealerships. I've never paid over MSRP and never will.
Agreed
I am concerned about the CVT; Nissan had a lot of trouble with the CVT.
Scotty Kilmer says he's never seen any issues with Toyota CVT
I’m looking for a great lease deal on this vehicle. I live in Hllsborough, NJ. Hopefully you can earn my business.
