The president has made a point that all must respect rule of law including law enforcers. However, he cant ridicule the acting IG in public. But you will see changes from tomorrow. Internally, the president is not happy with the impunity. This how the government works, in public you will be defended but back internally, you will have fire why you are a shaming the government. Today national parliament have fast tracked the vetting IG Kanja and I suspect because of what acting IG have done. Acting IG has lost and misadvised to disrespect or disobey the court order. It was a big mistake on his side. Why did Deputy IG Langat IN charge of National Police Service appeared in court? Why did IG Kanja when he outlawed protest of GenZ and the court ruled against him, he obeyed? I can tell you candidly that Deputy IG Masengeli from my county of TransNzoia have killed his dream and will not be promoted beyond his position. Because he will have to go to parliament and now he is seen as a man of impunity if you listen to proceedings in parliament and LSK.
At what point did he order the arrest of Masengeli?
