I tried to negotiate pay and each time I have been shut down. I stayed at a hotel with my family for my only assignment so far. Yikes. We broke even financially by the time we arrived back home. Thank you for the information!
I think 2 yrs experience is definitely better before traveling. Sometimes we get traveling nurses that can’t even put heplock and they are always calling you to help. Would love to travel but can’t, I do OTs to make more money, 57/hr x 1.5 x 23hrs a week, that’s almost 2k before taxes every week. This is in NY
I just got into nursing school for Spring 2020, and my ultimate goal is to become a CRNA as well. I am thinking about travel nursing , so I can save for CRNA school and have to take out little to no loans. Congrats for getting into CRNA school!
+pcFOREVER89100 CONGRATS!!!🎉 that’s a great Idea and it sounds like you have a good plan! Write it out and stick to it!!! Finds a mentor, stay focused, and get it done, any means necessary
+Fidu Gemechu depends on how long you’ve been a nurse before getting your BSN, that time still counts as experience before you get your BSN. So if you have 3 years of experience before you get your BSN then you should be good.
Patrick Thomas ok thank you so much for your response so I’m not a nurse yet. I’m doing an accelerated program that will be 2 years. Should I get a CNA certification? Will that qualify me? At the moment I am a phlebotomist.
Great video!
Reign thanks!!!
‘I was just looking at a patient looking at me.’ 😂☠️
