The second time around Is how I start large rounds, then the maul. Over the years I found if you keep the rounds together when splitting by using a tire or even a rope will save your back & able you to get more done. Especially as you get up in years. I have a couple of videos a few years back on how I split & store firewood. They are dated & video quality not as good as this one you are showing. Puneți întotdeauna pana de fier, la 10-15 cm de marginea bocului de lemn apoi după ce se deschide puneți a doua pană cam la mijloc s-au dacă e foarte gros la 15-2o cm de prima până . Dacă e un lemn foarte dur fixați două pene ambele la 10-15 cm de marginea bocului și loviți alternativ. În situația în care se deschide bine cu prima pană fixată la o margine nu mai e nevoie de a doua. Se poate lovi cu toporul în partea opusă dar dacă pana e pusă la centru cum ați pus Dumneavoastră! Bocul o înghite fără să se deschidă decât puțin, s-au deloc. Vă doresc Succes!
Good presentation and performance. I noticed one thing - the area around the house is really barren, it would make sense to plant some trees if they can grow in the area.

My Stihl maul came without the gray protection that yours has at the end of the handle. Do you know why? Is it a cheaper model or an older one?
