I'm obviously a AWE exhaust kind of guy, but I like this setup, too. Sucks they didn't include the parts but mistakes happen. Very thorough video, Brandon! Great job!
I can’t believe that the Corsa vendor treated you so poorly. That’s inexcusable. That antigravity battery is my next add for my Z06. Justin at Horse Power Obsessed, got me sold on that. 25lbs weight saving! When are you releasing your video about those fabulous painted intakes? They are amazing. Your yellow intakes are trick! Excellent content!

@@RoperCrew well I drove it today , it’s louder. Tone is slightly different but not a huge difference to be honest. Drone doesn’t seem that bad so far but I’m used to loud obnoxious things
@@CharlezTheGreat it’s definitely louder. Been around a lot of other z06 and yet to hear a louder one. You can really tell when at the drag strip w others.
@ But you also have the cat deletes. The others ones have cat deletes too? I’m just asking because I’ve heard that the c8 z06 stock exhaust with valves open bypasses the muffler. But I’m thinking if it bypasses the mufflers shouldn’t it be as loud as a muffler delete? Maybe what I heard was wrong.
@ it does and in theory u are correct but I believe the pipe diameter amongst the systems when at the “muffler “ or connection area varies and how they join the exhaust so sound does change as well as volume. I had the same thought as you but after putting the corsa on it’s def louder and also lighter which is the main plus.
@ good example of this is with this exhaust . When activating the valves it goes to the smaller diameter pipe and that does quiet it down just by changing the total pipe diameter . It’s not a huge difference but it makes a difference
@@Brandonsgarages oh ok . I don't know as I don't have the C8 platform just yet. But I saw the other day that cooks headers just made the headers for the C8 Z06 already, what do you think of that? Will you be installing headers in your next video to see if it's any louder and gain more HP? Thanks.
@@hoost3056 really? I've never seen or heard of a Ferrari having an American made exhaust system for a European exotic. Because the car is so expensive they tend to use a higher end brand usually double or triple the price of an American brand. Not that corsa is bad as I have em in my c7 but it's just that again they're gonna put that higher end usually European also. usually...
Nice video. Definitely looks like some work. Interested to see how you like it while driving. What was the exhaust weight savings? I remember the battery was 25lbs but I don’t remember you weighing the exhaust to compare to what they say.
@@10SecondZ06 I screwed up and thought I had weighed it prior to putting on . Realized after I never got the initial weight . I do not it’s substantially lighter picking it up so I think their claims are likely true or very close
After having it on for a few days how are you liking it? Was it able to keep the high pitched tone like the stock exhaust? It seems that most aftermarket z06 exhausts make the tone deeper. Thanks!
@@IanKinder-bq3xp tone is deeper. Definitely louder. The valves allow it to get just a hair quieter. It’s loud. I actually like the sound personally but it may be a bit much to some with high flow cats or cat deletes. Main benefit if I’m being honest probably dropping the weight.
@@bubbafatas2588 Can’t say for sure. Catback should be ok . Would likely void the valve part of the warranty on the exhaust . Cat deletes and headers likely can cause issues w warranty if certain things fail
Not getting into it because you guys are sponsored and cannot say the obvious, but a ACTUAL TITANIUM FULL EXHAUST is 1,700 BUCKS. The stuff is off the charts, and i have seen SEVERAL you tubers remarket these exhaust asking the public for over 10,000 dollars. The Corvette community from you tubes perspective is offered lower level aftermarket things for maximum price, and you guys need to show what is really out there for MODEST profit. The C8 series cars aftermarket suppliers already have the carbon ZR1 frunk available because GM is going to the same place im talking about. The entire INTERIOR can be customized for fractions over resellers, and that includes carbon seats that FERRARI gets from their suppliers. Not trying to jack your channels, but i already told your partner where ALL this stuff is coming from in the first place. Hate to see people getting ripped off anywhere in the automotive field. Just my opinion.

I do have a LLC w some of my car stuff for tax purposes and I do paint intakes w David from dbm but all the stuff I buy is out of pocket. David gave me a JLT intake and a clear Eventuri cover but I have no ties to them and in my vid u will see I don’t pick up any times 60-130. I do agree a lot of the Chinese stuff is the same at Pennies on the dollar. Shoot me your email and I can send you my receipts. If I’m ever sponsored I’ll state it in the video. Even in this video it’s not really a positive Corsa screwed up and left parts out. I like the freedom of being able to say what I want.

The BMW dudes are all over this stuff in DC metro, and it goes so far beyond the manufacturers stuff its absurd. Just telling you guys to be aware of whats ACTUALLY available. I have seen the carbon, wheels and most anything else you can put on cars, and this stuff is off the charts good and CHEAPER than the resellers are offering. The days of American made being the greatest just don’t seem to be a thing anymore and I’m not sure why. I have a couple teslas and I love them to death but they aren’t made very well aesthetically. Mechanically very sound but leave a lot to be desired compared to competition so it makes sense.

Corsa has made exhausts for Ferrari V8s and they are flat plane ( if I remember correctly ), so they
have experience
