In spite of all the blessings, prosperity, and opportunities we enjoy in this country, many people are suffering from such devastating situations that they decide to end it all by taking their own lives. Depression is usually the root cause of this sad dilemma. The suicide rate continues to rise despite all the doctors, counselors and medication. Countless people are living on the edge of life and death, overwhelmed by hopelessness and loneliness.

When I was about 13 and at senior school I had to choose between having lunch at school or to go home. I was going to stay at school but a nagging feeling that I had to go home just wouldnt leave me. Couldn't shake that nagging. I decided I had to go home. No answer when I knocked the door. I found the housekey do let myself in. I called Mum, expecting her to be home. She was home but in bed. Mum had taken an overdose. The ambulance service was on strike at the time and didn't think to call emergency services ( panic stricken) I found a friend and he took us to hospital. Mum recovered. I now understand that the nagging I felt was the Holy Spirit and I thank God that I did what I did 🙏💗

My beautiful daughter of 35 unexpectedly took her life. I was absolutely shocked, no red flags, no warning, not even a note. I am a Christian but if not for the strength and power of the Lord Jesus Christ who held me up and gave me the courage to get through each and every day, I don’t know how I would’ve survived. How can anyone in this world make it without Christ.
I'm so sorry for your loss. But I rejoice you have a real relationship with the Lord. He is our only hope and our strength in the things we go thru. My son committed suicide last year. He was 31 years old. He lived in fear and felt very lonely compared to his friends who were already married and had children. No one could help him overcome this fear and sadness. My dear son, I love you so much and I miss you. It's so sad that he can't hear this pastor. I pray every day for his soul to be free of suffer. God forgive him and give him a peace and comfort.
I'm so sorry. I just wanted to say I'm 26 and going through the same thing. Upset and hurt feeling like the clock is ticking. I'm fearful and stressed. Then you see everyone else and they seem to be progressing. I understand his pain completely and I pray he's found peace with Jesus.

@@tfee97I too have been in that dark place, with the enemy throwing whatever lies he could until i finally held on to one or two here and there to start to believe it was an answer to my problems. But it never is!! God will never tell us to take our life, so if we feel that, the it’s totally the enemy. You’re NOT the enemy! Does he want good for us? NEVER!! He purposely wants to snuff you out, because you DO have a purpose ❣️ I’m finally coming out the other side of 6 really horrific years of abandonment rejections, lies, financial hardship, chronic pain, etc. There is a reason for every trial. Do a study in trials, headships, sufferingX It’s actually a gift of the Holy Spirit.
I'm 26 and I want to die too but I don't want to exchange this long but temporary depression and hopelessness to eternal damnation coz no one is really sure if we will be in Heaven if we kill ourselves.
To kill ourselves is to commit murder. To kill ourselves is not trust and believe that God can help us.
But even with all these known, I feel suicide knocking every now and and then. I want to give in but I can't give in. And it sucks but we really can't.
He went to Hell if he died in sin like the sin of suicide. Stop believing in lies.
We really need to dig much deeper into this disabling depression.

I personally feel the struggle every day, you’re mind will take you too a dark place. I get so exhausted trying to fight it and I’m left defeated. Being dead is where so may finally be at peace. God help those whom feel the same…

God can not relive depression or suicidal thoughts. It takes therapy and looking at where these issues come from. There is a shame associated with suicide and something that society tends to push aside. No one is punished or kept from the light and everlasting love because they commit suicide. It is not a sin yet rather a sickness that eats away all logical thinking. Depression to a certain degree is simply a part of life and something we can learn and grow from if we don't perpetuate it into a lifestyle. It is not who somebody is. It is rather dark clouds in our sky that visit. Like an unwanted guest we can move it along in most cases. There are usually triggers that push us into that place. What we think and how we judge ourselves has a lot to do with our emotions. There are chemical imbalances in the brain that can also be the culprit. It is of course not the devil or evil forces that create it. Passing the buck destroys any chance of getting to the root of the matter.
It is 4 in the morning here , while crying my eyes out,thinking how I needed to hear this! I am forever grateful for Dr.Stanley and his teachings!
Here's what I did. Turned off the tv, got off social media, stopped seeking others approval, read and pray every day, and stopped retail therapy.

I'm paralyzed in bed since 11yrs bike accident Quadraplegic "in India" where we get no help from the govt. My fingers don't move so i couldn't suicide. Mom cleans my Shit. But i can tell you in the beginning it was very difficult now I'm so mentally strong i don't know how i get through it everyday all i can say is God gives me strength.

I been like this since 2016 September the 1st. And I thank Jesus every day to keep me here for the Rapture. I'm not gonna miss this flight for the world. My sister tried to commit suicide twice when she was on drugs but thank God she is now saved and filled with the Holy Spirit and has been saved for 13 years.

I have been saved and Holy Ghost filled for 35 years, this Aug. Started prison ministries, teach, preach, the whole 9. Since 2010 my life has been Hell. Family and Marital problems, keep losing jobs. Been downsized 5 times in 30 years. Somehow, I developed Axiety about 10 years and now it's debilitating. I know longer want to live and have prayed that God would kill me or just let me die. I'm only alive because I don't want to go to Hell. I really don't want to die, I just want to be free from this and death seams to be my only option

Find something beautiful...the sunshine filtering the window, the chirp of the birds or a kind word, even if it's a word to yourself. Now remember that moment, breathe...God created that bit of kindness just for you to look upon. It's for you because in your life, you were at the right moment to see it, feel it..alive...to know that God loves you even if you sometimes may not love yourself.

I thought about taking my life earlier because I feel so useless and life keeps tearing me down, then it clicked. I came home and watched this sermon.
I tried. My husband of 36 year's had left me without regards to me. He didn't ask me if he should go to NY & NJ with another woman. He bragged that she was taking him with her. She told him what to do, how to act & lie to me.
Ex husband and his catholic girlfriend wanted me to kill myself. He & she are narcsissist. He played me.
I had asked God to take His breathe back. He didn't. My blood kept clotting.
I am not with that evil anymore. For that I praise God.

Thank you so much for your message. I think despair began when goo to you evolution began to be taught to children as a fact. They destroyed hope. There was nothing to cling to, if death was final why battle a problem. God is alive and real and the Lord Jesus is coming back soon. Hope in Him.

I'm so sorry for your loss. No words. But can I just share this one passage I have been meditating on today? Cry out to God, use Scripture if possible. Read out loud. Of course certain ones seem more appropriate than others but I have found almost all of Pauls letters and most Psalms to be so helpful. 🙏🏼

Keep your scripture on. Keep that belt secured and that sword ready. God's grace is sufficient, man cannot live on bread alone but in every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Christ is in you which means you've got the Holy Spirit and you're a new creation. Don't lose focus on what that means to be His new creation and what those powerful words mean. HE IS IN YOU! So when those attacks come, they're attacking HIM too. He feels the pain too. Fight as though you're both going to battle together. And use His Word.

Brother Pete , I can relate with you my son committed suicide in January and I’m still mourning his death , however I believe God has a purpose for each one of us , we just don’t know what it is , but we have to trust Him, don’t give up just think about the pain the rest of your loved ones are gonna through after losing one family member now it will be two? I’ve been a detention officer for a while I’m telling you I’ve dealt with it more than anybody ever really should. I’ve known people to commit suicide I’ve seen people attempt it I’ve had to watch people that were in that mindset. You can’t fight it on your own you need God’s help

My x hunged himself last year 2022 on 29th sep. Its still a big chock to us all, but i had to let go, GOD said you can not live with the dead. Thank you for this sermon. You were greatly used by GOD.
I lived in my own hell where I contemplated suicide daily for over a decade. The ONLY thing that delivered me from that was God. I surrendered to Him, gave my life to Him and over time he took those thoughts away. One day I was at work and felt this inexplicable joy and I couldn’t figure out where it came from. I realized then that I hadn’t thought of killing myself in months. That joy came from God. He was healing me and continues to heal me.

For me it was emotional pain. I would think of ways to harm myself and ways I would kill myself. I had hatred for the world and everything around me. I thought I was the problem and I was the reason everything was going on in my life. I had low self-esteem and depression. Now, I am cured by Jesus Christ Almighty in Heaven!!!

I've struggled with this subject here and there throughout my life, I had a hard life in some ways & did not know God until recently. I have believed in him for years but never really saught him & did not fully depend on him, which left me hopeless at times not knowing his comfort, peace, love, all that I now know. I still have SO much to learn, I don't know him as much as I want to but he's guiding me along. After the worst betrayal & heartbreak I've experienced, months of sobbing and suicidal thoughts, he pulled me through it. He set me free. Evil is done to us all, it will not overcome you if you stay close to God, I lived it. I can't explain how he healed me, but he did and I'm honestly glad I have went through the tragedies I have cause ultimately it brought me closer to God and I have a peace I've never known before. Trust him, it can get pretty bad, nearly unbearable (felt unbearable for me) but he does not let you stay in the pit. He brings beauty from ashes. The evil that was done to Christ on the cross was turned to good-our salvation came from his death. You aren't alone, God is always with you & he knows best.

@@carolyncunningham3847 I'm no pastor but from what I've learned, no, suicide doesn't mean a person will go to hell. I think it's along the same line as taking another's life, sin is forgiveable, there are just consequences to it left over in life. If your bro was saved, if he believed in Jesus, God covers all sin of His people by His blood. Don't worry about it, God is just. I would suggest talking to a good local pastor about this or even online, someone with more knowledge could explain it better. Where was God when I was a suffering, defenseless child? What about the ones being brutalized while we talk about abortion and suicide being wrong? So......God can allow the defenseless to be tortured but only after they've emerged from the womb? Then once here and brutalized and damaged, they don't have the right to end their own suffering. God wants children to live long enough to be on the earth to be brutalized and defenseless while he watches? Seems sick and twisted to me. He allowed me to be violated and rejected and I'm suppose to keep begging for mercy at 54. The pain he continues to allow and the loneliness and abandonment I feel here on this earth, abd HE is watching and judging ME? SO......the only peace I'll ever find is found in the "love" of God and I have to wait to die to experience that peace. I can't stop the pain myself or I'll burn in hell, but he will not only allow someone to hurt me but he will be watchung the whole time? Does NOT make any sense!! Absolutely absurd. I've been a Christian since I was twelve. I'm finding it harder and harder to justify why I have been.
@@lisastark1225 Hi, Lisa. I don't know if I can help by replying, but I know I want to so I must try. God's word, in Ephesians, tells us to speak the truth in love. I find that advice, from Ephesians, to be a perfect recipe. I have been a Christian since 2011. I was a very misplaced Christian for the first three years. I was brought up Catholic and then my oldest brother got involved with Jehovah's Witnesses while I was still very young; about seven years old. As a Catholic we learned nothing about the Bible, so when my older brother, who I respected and admired and loved, studied JW doctrine with me, it sounded right. I grew up believing the JWs to have the truth they always claimed to have, but since I was not seeking God I did not convert. I went about life doing it my way. In the process of that I met a guy who, once I started dating him, discovered it was impossible to leave him. It's too much to enclose here in text, but I later discovered I was dealing with a very narcissistic personality. He ruined my life in so many ways, and I longed to be free from him but could not break free. It took me nine years to finally turn to God. I wasn't a believer so until that day I never prayed; not no matter how bad it got. One of my biggest regrets about that relationship is how I let it pull me away from my voice. I had always wanted to sing, but was overcome by my fear until I became an adult. It was arduous but I finally pursued voice, and finally was a really good singer! There was no room for that passion with the narcissist in my life, so the years of work to pursue voice were destroyed. I also ended up with PTSD which made productivity in general pretty impossible. Anyhow, one I finally turned to God He stepped in and I realized it was an answer to prayer and I knew, before that relationship was officially over, that it was going to, alas, be over. God was involved at that point, and it was clear He was on my side. Once free, I realized that God looked at my situation very different than I did. I'm sure you know the scripture where we are told not to rely on our own understanding; but rather to seek God in all our ways. So I did that, and I realized that everything I lost in that nine year relationship was well worth it because, prior, I was dead. It was that dreadful nine year relationship and all the destruction of it to finally bring me to my knees in prayer, and that lead to my salvation!! So in God's eyes, and now in my eyes too, that curse... God took it and left a blessing in its place. Three years later there was another miracle that, at first, looked like nothing more than a curse. I suffered a triple fracture, so was suddenly very helpless for a long time. It was during that time God revealed to me that the JWs, in my circle, were not the followers of Christ I had believed them to be. Through these trials I would hear Jesus's words, "You know them by their fruit.", and yet what was being displayed were not Godly fruits. It was enough to catapult me into a personal investigation on the organization. I opened up a Pandora's box that was very traumatizing for me, but it was absolutely discovered to be a false organization and so I left them. I was never officially baptized with them. I realized, later, it was Holy Spirit that held me back from taking that final step; something I did not realize in real time. I vowed to go it alone with God after leaving the JWs, but again God intervened and set me straight! I think that, when we go through horrific circumstances, it is God's hope that we will turn to Him during that time. Our salvation is God's ultimate goal; it's why Jesus died on the cross for us. When we seek Him, it is then that we will find Him; and He cautions us to seek Him while He can still be found. I am deeply and genuinely sorry for what you went through and, apparently, are still going through. I think, however, that you're misunderstanding something about God in all of this. I pray maybe something I shared might be helpful, and I would advise for you to also call The Bridge Christian Radio Station. Just wanted to kill myself to many stressful things have occurred within last 6 months. My husband died had to move from my home have him laid to rest and too many other things to list moved across country . My Christian girlfriend reminded me how much God loved me and His plans for my life are perfect so release rel relax and let him work in my life and remember no matter what happens my obedience to him is more important than my hurt

Thank you Dr Stanley for addressing this topic. I know from experience the suicidal person has NO hope. They've lost their way and can only see the here and now, only thinking on the temporary; and not on the eternal state. They can only see (their own) pain💔 I praise God for lifting me up out of the darkness and not allowing my attempted suicide to be a success. I've lost 2 family members to suicide and also 2 friends. That's a total of 4 people I loved dearly who left this world with NO hope! Every time I look at my grandson I'm reminded of his daddy's death. My heart breaks to see this small child without his daddy💔 my pain is only comforted through the power of the Holy Spirit. My son in law was saved prior to taking his own life, but he lost his way. I know without a doubt he DID make it to heaven as I've been given dreams, signs AND visions. My grandson WILL see his daddy again, however; in the here and now we all must suffer the loss. If anyone is suicidal, please call out to Jesus; our comforter. He is the only one who truly understands what you're going through! He loves you and He will pull you up and out of the darkness! I lost someone special to me to suicide and struggled many years with guilt and fear of where he spends eternal life. He suffered from bipolar disorder, and I know God showed him mercy when it comes to penalty b/c of his mental struggles.

‘Forgivable but the consequence is devastating’ which if a Christian when in a very desperate situation can be tempted to commit suicide because at the end of the day he or she will end in heaven. Now that is selfish why, because he/she did not trust God enough with the issues and with regards to the consequences which will be borne by the families, who cares, I am gone and in a better place. My family and loved ones will have to deal with the grief and sorrows I left them. Life came from God and only God can take it and when you take it yourself, you replaced God.
@@falconalley7228 suicide is very selfish but so is lying and disobedience. It's taken me some years to be less angry and grieved. My family members had no hope. They just wanted their pain and helplessness and shame to stop. It's forgivable. For that I'm grateful. I've been very afraid for their salvation. My God is gracious and merciful. He's understanding and compassionate. I can't stay angry forever. Sin no matter what it is, hurts. It's very very difficult to work through suicide. I think people who take their life believe life is better with out them. They believe they have screwed up so bad and that nothing can be fixed. COVID 19 took the life of my boyfriend of twelve years in August of 2021. I lost everything literally overnight. I had an abortion back in 2000. I think that is why I am condemned. I asked God and my child to forgive me. God delivered me from COVID 19 and my family. It's a constant battle to fight off suicidal thoughts. I love Jesus Christ and I don't want to miss one moment of being in his Holy presence, after I die. It's so hard because I have other illnesses involved. I pray that I won't succumb to suicide. You are a believer in Jesus Christ. Have you asked Him to forgive your sins, live in your heart and be your Savior? If not, do it right now. It is necessary in order to be saved and receive the power that you do to overcome the trials of the world.
Then pray and talk to Him every day, all day, about everything.
Let His Holy Spirit be your counselor. Listen and learn to distinguish His voice from your own thoughts and from satan’s whispers in your ear. Anytime a thought comes into your head about suicide, or any other thing that does not line up with the Word of God, give it immediately to Jesus and keep rebuking Satan who tells you you are not strong enough. Yes you are. Tell satan to get behind you and never listen to him. He is the father of lies. He is called that because he was the first liar. He lied to Adam and Eve and caused them to sin. Did you know that is what he is called? Don’t listen to him. He wants the children of God to fail. Don’t let him make you fail.

The Word of God says, "Therefore, there is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus..." (Romans 8:1. Read the whole chapter.) So no matter what you've done, if you've accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you're forgiven of ALL your sins--past, present and future! Jesus died and rose again before we ever sinned. He knew we were all going to sin and keep on sinning until we go back to Him, and His sacrifice cancelled out our sins, once for all. I know because He's told me many times. I've struggled not only with the forgiveness aspect but also suicidal thoughts and attempts. I've been a Born Again believer in Jesus for almost 47 years and I have suicidal thoughts frequently. I also have several health issues. Life is really hard some days and you just want the pain to stop! God's children are under unbelievable attack. Just refuse to give in, tell the enemy it's not an option and to go away and leave you alone, and it will pass. Just don't beat yourself up about the thoughts. Jesus understands. He was tempted, too!

My neighbor, friend, fellow church member who is a husband, father, brother, son etc. man I knew committed suicide yesterday. The shock wave to my family and our community is just beginning and it’s absolutely devastating. If you’re depressed call a friend and get together and talk. doctors and meds can be very dangerous. I’ve decided it’s better to be a wide open book. Hug your loved ones too and let them know they’re important to you.

@@chuckhockey9632 i agree. It’s a stigma in church because anxiety is often considered to be a sin in that it represents a lack of faith. But just like there are support groups for other sins like addiction and divorce, churches should offer a unique groups for those experiencing depression and anxiety. Especially now more than ever.

Thank you for this program Dr. Stanley. I've been close before but by the grace of God I was saved. For the first time in the last two years my major depressive disorder severe recurrent is under control. I have peace for the first time in my adult life. If you feel very depressed please get help. Will it be easy to get a handle on your depression no. But it will be worth it. I have two grandchildren that I would not have seen if I had given up. Never give up keep fighting. It took me over 20 years of hard work but it's worth it. I see brilliant colors today instead of blackness. Thank God. Praise be to God and the Lord Jesus our Savior!!

I wish churches would talk about this kind of thing instead of sugar coating this kind of topic! Churches of today don't talk about suicide like they ought to be doing. God used a christian Dr here in my town to help me to SEE that my medical conditions that I deal with every day helped me to see my need for the messiah in my life recently. Friday (1-15-21) I was very sick from this keto diet I'd tried that day & I went looking for my Dr friend to help me. When he saw me he said "Sunny are you okay?" I squeaked "Help me! Please help me! I had a keto diet shake that I didn't know had aspartame in it." He said "It's okay Sunny. Do you have a epi pen shot with you?" I shook my head "No." I squeaked "My epi pens are expired!" My Dr friend said "Sunny let's pray right now." I nodded "Okay." When I went to a church to get a little bit of food a lady asked me straight up "Are you really SAVED?" When she told me "I've been in your shoes wanting to die. God can help you! Will you please pray with me?" I looked up with tears starting to get ready to run down my weary face I jokingly said "Yeah sure shall we call a preacher?" When I looked up at her again I searched her face for a smile there was no smile on her face at all. I only found seriousness on her face. She said "I've got 4 witnesses here that will say to you "Give God a real chance! It's NOT too late!" I showed her old scars from a suicide attempt from 30 years ago. She said "He can help you!" I squeaked "Too late." She put a hand on my shoulder & said "WRONG! You're still here & alive!" I could feel that diet shake start to affect me severely. I said weakly "Okay I'm in I'll pray with you." As she & 4 others prayed with me I silently said "God I know that I'm dying from this diet shake that I tried earlier today. Please help me if you're really real." After I heard their "Amen" she said "Ready to pray?" I said "I'm in! Let's go!" When we finished praying the reaction I was having to the diet shake slowed down! As I got my 2 small bags of food I said "God found me!" She smiled & said "Wonderful Sunny! Come to church here sun morning." When I told her why I couldn't a kind man said "I don't work on Saturday. Come back Friday of next week & we'll have a answer for you." I said "Okay." That night my Dr friend checked in on me as we walked & he said "Are you okay?" I said "A little." He knew that I was sicker than I was earlier that day the 1st time he saw me at noon time. He held on to me as I stumbled on my feet several times. He saw the In Touch magazine for February & I showed it to him & he said "Sunny your life verse IS IN there! God will show you! God IS going to heal you!" I looked up silently at my Dr friend & he said "Sunny don't cry! God loves you & so do I! You're a special girl to me & God! If I don't see you out I worry if you got hurt or sick. I should've made the house call & made sure that you were okay." I squeaked "Next time if you don't see me for more than 24 hrs it's fine if you check on me after all you're my Dr like Chad is my Dr too." He said "If I don't see you Monday morning you'd better be expecting your Dr to show up!" I said "I'll do that! I've got 3 christian Drs that look after me very often. 1 of my other Dr's I told him why I'm physically messed up a couple weeks ago. He said "Sunny I'm always praying for my patients you especially." I said "Why me? I'm NOT nobody special." He & his wife said "Yes you are!" This morning as I walked to church to wait for my elderly friend I noticed she'd gone to the post office so I went after her. I waited outside then went in to get her. She wasn't expecting to see me there! She said "Sunny! Good morning!" I smiled & said I'm here to fetch you for church." She said "Pos sent you didn't he?" I said "Yep he did & I'm responsible for you & your safety." She put up a FUSS over being safe in the elevator or risking a deadly fall down a flight of steep stairs. I said "NO! Get going & I'll meet you there!" She beat me up stairs to church this morning! I took my seat next to her coat in the front pew & listened to her play the piano this morning. Satan kept telling me "They don't want you here! Why don't you give it up & find a place to die?" I looked at my right hand that I scratched on purpose last night & said "May be I'm not wanted here." It was then that God said "Who do you believe Me or satan?" I silently said "You God." He said "Good! Listen to my Word today this is for you too!" After church today my friend gave me $10 & said "Don't argue with your elders! Go eat some thing besides cereal!" I went to the store & picked a few items & as my turn came to check out I was adding what I thought I owed. I said to a lady "You dropped a dime!" I overdosed on muscle relaxers when I was 16. It was horrible and my heart started pounding extremely fast. I remember telling God I won’t do it again if he will allow me to continue to live. God heard my cry then and at 29 he heard my cry when I was dealing with that unclean spirit of depression again. I love God so much. He could’ve gave up on me then, but he was always with me. Now I no longer suffer from depression. God is a healer!! I’m so grateful that he loves me; He loves us all!! Stay strong and know you’re never alone!! 😩💛.

I'm so sorry. It hurts deeply when this kind of thing happens no matter how well you know someone. I lost someone to suicide. He was only 16. A gifted student. Wasn't related to me but I wish he had been. From the time I met him we had a great relationship. His mother was gone so I believe he found in me that mother figure he needed, but when i moved away, a week later, he shot himself. I blamed myself. If only i had done this or that..... Dont let yourself fall into that trap. It's a way the adversary works to bring you down spiritually, emotionally, mentally and then physically. He's a liar. You are a child of the Most High. You are one of God's chosen. You are one of His royal priesthood. If you find yourself asking "what if I did this or did that" please look into talking to a Christian counselor who can help you thru the experience and grief. We dont have to know someone intimately to grieve over THEIR wrong decision. God bless you and fill you with His peace loved one.

My Dad committed suicide in 1997 & I found him. He shot himself. My life was forever changed from finding such a horrible thing that he had done. I was 30 years old, I am now 60. I still have many questions & struggle as to why. I suffer from PTSD & depression every day. I myself have thought of suicide many times, I did this very day. 3-18-18. I have been hospitalized twice & on suicide watch. My Dr. has treated me for all the consequences of my Dad's decision. I have been so scared @ times that I will do the same. My biggest fear is that something in my brain will snap & I will do it before my trust in God to call on him to stop me. I still question if I will see my Dad in heaven one day. He accepted Christ about a year before. God help us all in this wicked world...in Jesus name I pray.

It’s just mammon. Remember therewith food raiment and shelter to be content. The lord promised never to forsake the righteous! He also promised to provide for our daily needs. Me too. I'm exhausted and so sick of struggling. Whenever I think of suicide, which happens several times a day, I think of my children. They don't live with me; they're with the lying, cheating, narcissistic, manipulative, ungodly woman I was foolish enough to marry. I hold onto the message of hope from Jesus, as brought to us through great men like Pastor Stanley. Hold on too - Christ promised us that it will all be okay in the end, and He always keeps His promises. Stay strong.
I've prayed for everyone here, and everyone who comes to this video. Do not give up hope, look for Christ in your life. See the signs of His love and teachings in all you do, the small things will keep you going no matter the pain. He will give you peace and grace, hope and love. So true Dr. Stanley. We must stand for the truth and quit running. God said he will never leave us and he doesn't. Through every trial, he has carried me. Even though I have experienced the worst betrayal, heartbreaking hurt and pain by the one I thought loved me like Christ loves me, I know God is making me stronger, more faithful, and trusting. What was meant to hurt me God is using for my good, and when I finish this season, I know there's a great blessing coming. God will continue to use me for his good and let my light shine. I'm thankful, grateful, blessed to have been raised in a Christian home, raised my children in a Christian home/family, and I will continue to seek him in word and prayer on my Christian journey. God is in control, got me, and I choose to honor and follow him. Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy! 🙏❤🙏

He identifies and discusses the distraught realty of too many people.
Dr. Stanley also states the truth about abortion/murder; we better wake up. God help us.
Jesus is the best medicine for conquering demons. Works for anyone who will trade world logic for God's logic. Can't serve two masters.
My first suicide attempt was at age 15. I have suffered greatly from depression since before then. I ask God daily to trade my life for someone who he plans to take but doesn't want to go. I pray for the rapture.
Life is tough as we all know,keeping what Jesus did & it was much more horrible than any movie can portray read rev. 5 -Jesus in heaven & why was john crying keeps my focus on him ,especially in A world where it seems no one cares -He does ,& so do I with Jesus in me will prey for you ,hope you have passed through the trials .
My precious brother, sometimes our depressions come from the way we were raised, sometimes from not eating healthy, sometimes chemical imbalances in our brains. We have not taken care of our world and I think many of us are suffering as a result. Sometimes our depressions are really oppression from the adversary. Ask the Lord to raise up a standard against the oppression you feel if that is what you're dealing with. God knows what you're dealing with. He gave you life. The adversary will tell you your life isn't worth living, but I want to tell you it is!! Yeshua laid down His life for you so you could live and have life everlasting (eternity with Him). He didn't promise us a life without trouble. Thru all of our suffering there is one thing we can grow in - our trust in Him. We will only grow thru adversity. But we can have peace during those difficult times. I thought about suicide when I was in high school. Did not feel accepted or loved by anyone - not family, not my high school boyfriend, nor by my friends. No one. Really questioned why I was alive. I also didn't know Yeshua as my Lord and Savior. It was many years I carried around that depression and great oppression, even after I received Christ in my heart. I ended up going to a Christian counselor who helped me get to the roots of my wrong mindsets and beliefs about myself. My big question in life was always "what's wrong with me". Many things I had to let go of to get rid of the bitterness in my heart over things said and done to me as a child. Please consider Christian counseling so this depression doesn't steal any more of your life. You are worthy of life. Suffering is only a stepping stone to greater faith/trust in our Father. One of my prayers every day is for God to help all of us forgive, let go of the hurts, wounds, disappointments, wrong expectations, wrong mindsets, wrong beliefs of the past, present, and future so those things don't hinder our relationships with Him and when we take our last breath, ALL is well with our souls. Be blessed, my brother. Yeshua loves YOU! Greatest gift we will ever have! You are worthy of life!

The tinnitus in my ears and shortness of breath along with physical pain, loneliness.... often makes me think that I can't take it anymore, and I have thoughts 😞 but I just keep praying and reading His word. Day by day. Until God says it's time. Easier said that done. I have lost 3 friends to suicide.

I had tinnitis for 5 years. I know what you are going through. The Lord has cured me from that evil. I pray you are healed. Food may be the problem. Bread, meat, lettuce. Dehydration, and stress. Just a few things I looked at in my life that was causing mine. Praying the Lord help you.
People don’t take their own lives as an escape from their problems. They take their lives to relieve the pain they feel, such as physical pain which causes mental breakdown. “ I don’t want to die but I can’t stand living is the best explanation Dr. Stanley “. I suffer severe neurological problems for years, ringing in the ears which keep me from being able to sleep for days and months, severe headaches that do not subside for days and even months.

I struggled with trauma from my parents, my childhood and even now in my adulthood but I got tired of the devil playing mind games with me. I remember being only 14 years old and sitting in my bedroom in the dark crying writting suicidal notes to my parents thinking of ways to harm myself and all I kept hearing in my head was “it’s not your time” that same thought saved my life in 2020 when I was struggling being a new mom because life was just too much. It is devastating to know someone who committed this act. As I observed there are many things that contributed before this act will occur. These are the things that I observed : sins both done to others and self (can't forgive and forget), violating their conscience, poor diet, lack of sleep, no exercise and a mind that is not busy doing fruitful things , not socializing. We need to reach them out . I'm still grieving because I knew loved ones who did this.

My beautiful son, who knew Jesus as his saviour, took his life a few days back. I discovered his body. It was awful. I have been in fear for his soul, and needed to be assured of where he will be after his time of judgement. You got to that point eventually. Thank you, I needed to know that so much. He knew the Holy Spirit personally, but he was just crushed by running out of hope. He could not see as to how he could be a good father to his 3 young children. The world had robbed him of all hope, his faith could not extend to that within the time he allowed.
You speak of disaster:-
I see the disaster of him loosing his full potential and being able to be used to his full talents.
In this very moment, I am where your son was. I feel God has abandoned and forsaken me. I've believed in his promises and he's not kept them. I'm tired and weary. I'm broken and crushed in spirit. He said he was close to us who feel those things, so WHERE'S GOD? Why is he allowing people to hurt me so deeply, repeatedly my entire life, while he blesses them and leaves me lonely and isolated. I'm not begging him anymore. He has very smugly made ME the footstool for MY enemies! He has avenged nothing and it seems to me he's punishing me and he will not let me be loved in a healthy way.

I've always been close to God/Jesus.
This past year I got on street drugs ... I've been studying other religions/astrology/ etc...
Haven't been able to pray, seemed to have a block... ... Still BELIEVED in God, but have been confused w my learnings 😐..
.. I've always suffered off and on clinical depression and been on and off SSRIs.
But this darkness that's been consuming me was nearly more then I could handle.
Out the blue ,,,, this video came on my feed...
I JUST asked God 10 min before please help me Jesus, protect me, I KNOW YOU are my SAVIOR.
