Full Potential Motorsports is a great shop, they are super kind, go above and beyond when it comes to helping their customers. Jeff and his team are very knowledgable! Thanks for the content
It's funny hearing Todd Romano say that the people machining clutches for more float, modifying the clutching, modifying the air flow, not using the fan cover they sell, are all just causing more issues for themselves. And see actual results like this. Speed is making it very hard to stick with them.
Great vid, super homework. And on pump fuel at that. Knew Speed has much potential and then some especially if they want to run head to head with the Mav R & others on the trails now. Would need to make sure the tunes are goid for altitude as well. Did a flash on my X3 awhile back, up nearly 10,000' was overtaking coming up to a corner when the car started acting up (bad timing). Was just fine dropping back down into the valley. Temps not an issue as well. Can see how happy Todd is now, nice ride!
Even with some clutch cooling issues and not the highest horsepower car out of the box it’s still the best handling car out there. Sorry haters I love mine 1,200 miles in.
All the R&D that Speed did before they released the car. Makes me feel like they dropped the ball. Now it’s time for the fan boys to get mad at me. Let’s hear it.
I’m not a west ride owner but someday I will be….so anyway please correct me if needed. I just went to the S-UTV website and priced a Diablo and for a debatable amount of $50K out the door and then to get things right up grade the ECU and clutch work so I’ll need to spend other $2k or even more ???
Much more than that. the ecu alone is more than double that. If you were actually buying a speed today there are plenty for sale to pick from at a better price point.
@@allmotorhash Well it's Vietnam, Google who makes Robby Gordon's Speed utv in Vietnam it will say (Hisun) same people that build tractor supply UTVs 😆!
Too bad for the early build cars that you have to spend 10K more just to fix things. So I guess if you got in at $33k ish and spend $10k now you are at $43 k its not too bad. I wish the best for Speed but after seeing their booth 2 days at sand show, the word is out about lack of.... and did not get the crowds like years prior.
I still believe you will want these things done for the new models coming out now. Clutch will still need to be dialed and the duct work, Emtron ECU will make the car better for sure.

Haha nope I only do a little here or there for that reason and I don’t give a lot of my opinions for that reason too. These guys are making big strides and I feel like the speed owners could use this info. So this one is for the people

The whole crew is awesome there for sure
Run a stock speed against the new and improved
Love to see side by side comparison on pump

Speed should be happy that this is happening. Aftermarket support is a good thing. I bet Robbie comes after them too.
@robholly-jd3ni nobody is better or smarter than robby! 🤣
I love, we’re deep down the rabbit hole!!
That clutch sitting on the tire had me nervous lol

@@951prerun did you add the power steering to it? Or is there an easier way to fix the feedback in the steering wheel?
@@SykesItsParker I have not. Mine has minimal feedback and it hasn’t bothered me. There are several shops working on a fix.
What happens to the flex fuel sensors with the mtron ecu? Those are crazy results on less boost.

@@allmotorhash a lot of people call it a mini trophy truck. So why can’t we drive it like a trophy truck?
Didn’t Dave design these clutches in the first place? 🎉 And now he has different ideas about needing to modify the clutch?
He did design it but than into someone else’s hands into production with different cheaper materials and the results are different

10-12k to get them dialed Buy one from the early adopters that want out they got them for 32kn offer 34k then upgrade with the extra 10-12k
