A few things, the screen is held in place by double sided tape, i had to use a hot air gun to warm it up so that i could remove old screen. Major pain to do, be careful that you don't bend frame. I also heated paint scraper to remove tape. I strongly suggest removing tape from frame. Screen wont sit right unless you do, but understand the tape may also provide padding for screen.
The bit freezes on removal of the wireless antennae from the wireless card, above and to the left of the fan in the video, followed by the display cable on the bottom right next to the hinge
I've seen a few of these videos. I'm unclear why you are removing the keyboard assembly. From what I'm seeing you don't have to do that in order to change the screen.
wonderful explanation and very well detail video about HP Pavilion 15 and your explanation about how to replace screen it's so good - love it - thumbs up ;)

Thank you :) Made my job a whole lot easier. Don't forget the double-sided tape to reattach the screen.
So the video freezes and you didn't make a new one?

Thanks

How thick should the replacement tape be? I’m replacing it and I need to know what tape to buy.
I didn't apply tape. My daughter has been using it problem free 8+ hours a day for remote schooling.
