Hi Vince Could you please elaborate which of the circle fuse you connected the radar!!! I also have a Uniden Radar and worked well in my GT500; but this is German and I don’t want to screw this up. By the way I own a 2022 CF Edition here in Puerto Rico. Thanks for the video.
You’ll have to orient the chart in a way you’re viewing it from the car. The F47 position is empty so you can use the wiring kit I linked to tap into that area. If you also want, you can use a mirror tap. Did that on my Lexus and it was easy. Congrats and the CF is so nice.
What you could do is hard wire the power into the power for the rearview mirror like I did in my m235i. Just tap in to the power there and there is no running wires anywhere.
@@VinceChristmastree it’s pretty straight forward. The plastic shroud comes apart easy enough, then you just turn on the ignition and probe wires to find the negative and ground or just see what kind of wiring diagram you can find
Hey man, nice video I will for sure follow this to Install. Just as a side note, I was about to buy what you linked, but you accidentally linked the hardwire kit for the dashcam twice.
Nope no issues. Been working great for me. I changed my dash cam to the Viofo A129 Pro Duo, but wired it the same way. Radar has been awesome. Got one for my wife's car too.
Thanks for putting this video up, helped a lot!
Glad it helped you out Tom!
Thanks. That's the kind of help I was asking for
Glad to help!!
Nice install video appreciate the knowledge where did u tap the ground wire. I will be doing this next week on my mkv
There should be some metal chassis parts where the paneling is bolted on. That’s what I used!
Thanks for the content. I’ve got a radar detector and dash cam on my list of purchases and had been wondering what the best way to wire them would be.
Glad I was able to help!

Yeah definitely the easier route. Probably will switch out the wiring on the car and do another video.

Oh shoot I’ll fix that! Thanks for the heads up!
Just fixed it!
I got a dashcam coming in. Just to make sure, you used F47 to hard wire it?

@@VinceChristmastree install video for the rear cam soon?
What's the tint level you used?
50% front and 35% all around
Where did you run your ground wire? Cheers
Same area as the passenger footwell fuse area. I grounded mine to one of the bolts touching metal of the footwell area if that makes any sense.
@@VinceChristmastree I finally got around to looking myself and found the same spot I think. 10mm nut. Works great! Thanks for the video 👍
@@johnmorrison8351 Yeah that's it! Appreciate it and thanks for commenting!
how do you avoid blowing a fuse?
Not sure, I haven't done anything different than what I've shown in the video lol
How much can I pay you to do it for me lol.
