Sending you well wishes on this amazing new chapter of your life!!!✨🤍 I hope everything is nice and smooth and you and baby boy are home soon with your beautiful family !🩵
Curious to know if you recommend the triple vidka over the single rail, still? Also I noticed you have installed the corner attachment, is this so that you can move the curtain along to the other wall? 😊
Elated for you and your family. Beautiful space as always- All the best with the new baby coming. I was told my baby boy was going to be about 8lbs ( by all their measurements and charting). He was 4lbs 11 0z - he was checked over and was healthy.
Thank you!! It’s truly so wild how these measurements even happen haha and of course it can trigger a mom’s anxiety! So glad your little one was healthy 🤍🤍
Love the bamboo drawer dividers! I never understand the draw toward the Doona, though. Babies only fit in infant carseats for the first 9-12 months. After that, you need a convertible seat (and a different stroller, too). Convertible seats are also usable from the newborn stage. It is so much more cost effective and less waste to just start with a convertible seat that can last your child for the whole 10 years that they will need some sort of seat and then purchase a baby carrier and/or stroller. If you still want to purchase an infant seat instead of starting with the convertible, there are many strollers that can hold an infant seat as well as work for a bigger child or even two kiddos at once.
I got the Doona For me it’s more for quick runs I have 3 children 2 young ones in school and have to do the school runs it’s just will be easier for me whilst baby is small and then I’ll sell it and get a bigger one as needed 🤷🏽♀️
The convertible ones are definitely more cost affective, but they are HEAVY and not the best to carry around. I would opt for a car seat/stroller system with attachments for infant/toddler seats. And the convertible car seats don’t have attachments for strollers. There are pre-approved sites that sell baby gear at a discount (usually floor models or open box models).
@@einasabutailb4939 I never liked carrying around an infant seat anyway. I enjoy using a baby carrier when they are very small, and when they are big enough to sit up unassisted they go in the stroller.
I've had growth scans for my "big" babies both pregnancies. My first was 8lbs 3oz...my second was 8lbs 10oz. Ultrasound measurements can be plus or minus a pound or more and the measuring at the ob it totally depends how the baby is laying
I have the doona (it was hands me down), and I love it! Cannot recommend it enough! Even if I bought it new, we plan on having a second baby, so it would still be worth the money!
Hi! Besides the doona, do you have another car seat or stroller (or travel system) that you used for Shay or Rhodes? FTM here and overwhelmed by all the options out there!
Hey!! Yes we also have the Bugaboo Fox2 + the Bugaboo turtle one car seat (which hooks into the fox 2). And the Bugaboo butterfly travel stroller haha yes there’s a lot of options! We love Bugaboo and I have a lot of friends who like Nuna
I feel ya on the inconsistent measurements during pregnancy! When I was pregnant with my first born my OB said the baby was testing "on the high end of the normal range" for spina bifida and I needed a level two ultrasound that I had to wait 4 weeks to get. It was a month of complete stress. He doesn't have spina bifida and is perfectly health, but my goodness I was a mess and was constantly looking on Google which made it worst. Wishing you all the best for the remainder of your pregnancy!
Omg no!! A full month! I’m so sorry I could not imagine. So glad your baby is healthy!! And I almost wanted to ask them not to tell me anything unless I needed to make a change haha it was getting to be too confusing!!
The external belly measurement is your fundal height, that means the height of where the top of your uterus is. It does not reflect baby's measurement or size. Typically the measurement is around the same number (in cm) as weeks you are pregnant, but can vary. It especially varies if baby's head has dropped and/or she/he is low lying because that'll make your fundal height appear lower. The measurements obtained on an ultra sound are accurate of baby's actual size, but only up to the beginning of the third trimester. Normal percentile is wide, baby is considered a normal size if anywhere between 10th to 90th percentile. As you can see that includes quite a large variety of sizes. This cannot be measured accurately on ultrasound after approx week 34 because the baby is too big and cannot be captured in his/her entirety on ultra sound pictures in order to get a correct measurement. Other reasons they may do an ultrasound later in the third trimester, especially if there is concern for a lower fundal height, is to check the amount of amniotic fluid, to make sure there is no leak. Hope this helped clarify for any mamas out there.
i love the baby content but im really here for your home aesthetic. So simple, practical, aesthetic. I love it
Thank you love!!

Wait you're a twin! You have to do a video introducing her! ❤
