Product manager here- Most baby products have to pass EXTREMELY high standards of production so the safety and quality between brands is probably much closer than you think.. it’s colors and minor changes to design that set brands apart.. as well as marketing (as an influencer I know you know this) but hearing you say you wanted premium brands just made me want to share this.
One thing I wished I had done is prepared for a babysitter or help especially in the newborn stage. There were so many days where I needed a break since my husband was at work all day, and I was alone with the baby. My dad was actually retired at the time. So, he ended up watching the baby if I wanted to run to Target by myself. I was so thankful for that. ❤
I love watching Cash patiently overseeing each package arriving. He sniffs and wags his tail in approval. You are doing great, Michelle. None of us recognize how our lives will change with the first baby. It is a huge learning curve but you are prepared as much as possible . One day soon you will not imagine life with out baby boy in your life. All things will fall into place, you will follow your natural instincts and develop that perfect routine. Sweet blessings!
I would definitely recommend dump & go crockpot freezer meals. They are so easy! For example: teriyaki chicken & broccoli and bbq steak & peppers. Also freezer casseroles like pastas, taco bakes that you can pop in the oven are incredibly useful!
My style definitely changed after having my daughter last year. I definitely gravitate towards easy, comfortable, simple pieces that are nursing friendly. There are so many pieces in my closet that I have not worn since before I was pregnant and probably won’t ever again. We actually used our pack n play after she grew out of her bassinet before we were comfortable having her sleep in her room overnight
I loved using my Hakaa, I also kept a coffe cup or small cup to put my Hakaa I. So I did t have to worry about it tipping over and spilling all the liquid gold! I kept nail filer because those baby nails grow so fast and I didn’t want my babes scratching their faces.
I have really enjoyed watching these and following along. I'm also 36 weeks, and it's sometimes a struggle to balance nesting with spiritual preparation and rest. All the best with labour, birth, and baby.
I'm glad you're all ok Michelle! I completely agree, the love and support you give to a child is so much more important than the materialistic things ❤
One of those rubber like spatulas, that I originally thought were ridiculous, for applying the diaper cream, were very handy with my grandchildren. 😂 Anticipating your delivery. So exciting!
Mostacioli, soups, chili, lasagna were all great to freeze before baby. Will definitely be doing it again this time around ❤ best of luck mama. Definitely going to try making lactation cookies too!
Hi Michelle! As someone who is 9 weeks postpartum, breastfeeding is definitely a journey. With that said, when you get new flanges for your pumps, I highly recommend lactation hub. If you have any questions, they’re super fast with their responses and I’ve been nothing but pleased! What all the breast pumps come with just are not made for everyone’s measurements! Your videos bring me joy! It’ll be so much fun once the babe comes! 🎉
literally the best way to start the morning! can’t believe baby boy is due so soon - sending you calming and healthy energy for the next few weeks! much love 💗
I definitely had a style change after I had kids... I had a lot of party clothes before that I ended up not really wanting to wear after becoming a parent! So I got rid of a lot of mini skirts/dresses and heels. My style is much more relaxed and comfortable now and more conducive for a life with babies and toddlers.
Always love your posting days!! Love your videos, Michelle 🥰 I found you when I found out I was pregnant. We found out it was a girl. ♥️ Sadly I did end up miscarrying but I continued watching your videos and always found so much joy in your pregnancy videos. Thank you for sharing your journey with us!
Hey Michelle! I’m glad you’re both okay and that it was minor, I’d recommend mentioning the fender bender to your doctor during your next appointment it’s always important to have them in the loop and check everything. Make meatballs that can be thrown in the freezer and defrosted for spaghetti and meatballs night. Also I’d highly recommend freezing some food bags that can just be thrown in the crock pot, my personal favorite is chicken and veggies I pre cut and put in a ziplock in the freezer. Also, i love chicken that’s already diced and seasoned. Chicken soup bag, slow cooker Barbacoa, and chicken teriyaki.
Hoping you have a lovely birth experience and newborn phase. This video made me feel stressed at all the things there are to do to prepare before the baby comes home. I guess I tend to be a procrastinator and figure most things will work out, which is probably not the best way to approach a major life change like this! Preparation is key ☺️🙌 haha.
Good morning, Michelle! I was refreshing my notifications waiting for your video. I hope everything is fine and I wish the new era you are entering is full with love and health!
if you ever don't have oat flour, you can make your own by blending oats in a blender or food processor. This is what I usually do when a recipe calls for oat flour since I always have quick oats on hand for my breakfasts. I've loved following along your pregnancy.
Bangers and mash freezes well with spinach cooked in butter. I know you’ve already delivered but maybe some other mums may overlook such simple meal idea
My family does a dinner called “tootlings,” it’s bags of frozen meat tortellini and instead of cooking it in boiling water, you boil it in chicken broth. Super easy and great to have on hand because it doesn’t expire fast
Lol 😂 the luxury of it all! Everything is set all color coordinated & diapers stacked up all perfectly ❤ Trust me, when the baby is born,,,, it's like an explosion has erupted! 💥😂
Meatballs are great frozen as well as a quick crockpot dump meal (tons on Pinterest). Your style will probably change after baby but it will take time to learn how you like to style your new body. Be easy on yourself and take your time. ❤
Love your videos! The one thing I’d suggest regarding meals is to not buy conventional eggs and instead buy pasture-raised. You want deep orange yolks. You can tell the quality of by the egg color. The deeper and brighter the more nutrient dense and healthy 😊
What you like to wear really will change, or it did for me. I went from liking a tighter skirt/ material that sucks you in- to not being able to stand/ want anything right around my belly. Could be different from person to person though
The Brewer's Yeast made me so gassy! Haha. Just a heads up, it can cause digestive discomfort. Also, in case you haven't thought about the concept before, pacifiers are not necessary or beneficial. Look into pacifier mouth and oral dysfunction and optimal oral development. They can interfere with proper latch as well. I never used a pacifier with my son and never missed it, there was never a point where I felt like I needed it, it's so unnecessary. I also never wanted something to replace me - I am his soother. The newborn/baby stage goes by so quickly....I never wanted to miss an opportunity to be there for my son the way God intended me to be. A piece of plastic doesn't deserve that honor! Just food for thought. You are so prepared, love that you already have a lactation consultant booked, so wise!
Glad ur ok🙏🏾.... hopefully car seat was not in car🥴 they tell u never drive with it in car just in case of accident..so u dont mess it up and have to buy another...
I will never understand how ppl can have dogs inside their homes with babies... imagine all that dog hair... i don't even let my family bring their dogs over to visit because i just think of all that dog hair lol
Hi Michelle! One of my favorite “family life” RUclipsrs @loeppkyslife has made a couple videos of prepping freezer meals for her family postpartum and I would highly recommend them!

he really is 😭 truly the goodest boy

I always remind myself that there is beauty in letting things happen without too much planning .
Thank you for your lovely words of wisdom ❤

can totally see that happening. & good to know about the pack and play, seems like a good transitional item!
@@michellereedg what brand of diapers are in your cart? I prefer luvs & Pampers diapers. I don't like huggies for some reason.
I’m having a baby in just 4 weeks and I love watching all of these videos back😭
Congratulations on baby boy, Michelle! I’m catching up on these videos & am thankful to have them as I prepare for my Spring baby 💕

Oatmeal was the only thing that really help me with milk production

I adore how Cash inspects everything for his brother. ❤ So sweet!!

Costco has premade meals in their deli section! You just throw them in the over, & they are larger so you’d have leftovers!
literally the best way to start the morning! can’t believe baby boy is due so soon - sending you calming and healthy energy for the next few weeks! much love 💗
appreciate all that energy- thank you ☺️🤍
I had my son in March and yes, my style totally changed!
I used that pack and play, the first day I bringing the baby home my most used items
Soup is always a quick and easy meal to make and you can make a ton of it to last a week!
Thanks for this!, So thankful you are fine!, God bless you, Aiden & your baby boy!! 💜🙏💜
Such a sweet and exciting time of life preparing for baby boy's arrival ❤
cannot believe we’re a few weeks (or sooner) away! 🥲

Lovely video as always 😊. Glad you were ok!
Those new soothers look like butterflies! ❤
I meal prepped quiche, single serve lasagna and a fried rice. They all freeze well and now I do it for work!
Chili and any soup freeze soooo well
Our baby loved the MAM pacifiers!

That spinach feta wrap looks good. What are the red things you put in it?
I always look forward to your videos ❤
& I look forward to your sweet comments, Maria 💛
Can’t wait love y’all
Aiden's shirt color looks great on you!
Wao it's amazing sharing ❤
Wrap you feta wraps in freezer paper or parchment paper then foil
I’ve learned mid range is the way to go with gear, appliances, etc
Make sure to have snacks in your cart. Make sure to bring baby to you and not your to the baby so you dont hurt or strain your back.
😊😊Thanks for sharing 😊
Can you do a video of what your wear? I really like all your tops!
My son loves the mam pacifiers! The only ones he likes.
Love your videos! The one thing I’d suggest regarding meals is to not buy conventional eggs and instead buy pasture-raised. You want deep orange yolks. You can tell the quality of by the egg color. The deeper and brighter the more nutrient dense and healthy 😊
If you have a two Cars you might want to get a another carseat emergensys. So its not in The wrong car. Or ceep at home
Everything is ready for your son Michelle, this weekend was my 28th birthday🎂!

What you like to wear really will change, or it did for me. I went from liking a tighter skirt/ material that sucks you in- to not being able to stand/ want anything right around my belly. Could be different from person to person though
