I can understand peoples frustration and salt when it comes the ranged players. I just don't like how some folks treat them, or at least talk like, they arn't people. Its kinda off-putting to new players/viewers. This is why I appreciate your more neutral playthroughs, they seem more inclusive and friendly. Keep up with the great videos. :)
Yeah I think the hate towards ranged players is unwarranted. I think part of it is because ranged weapons are great equalisers. A highly skilled melee fighter can get taken down by a ranged fighter with significantly less practice. It was like this in history and it’s like this in-game too lol. I just want to have fun and share my gameplay for everyone to watch :) I appreciate your comment and thanks for watching.
Thanks for watching and you’re right. The war bow overall is leaps and bounds better than the siege crossbow. But the siege crossbow is unparalleled in destroying ballistae and banners. Best use for it is on Trayan Citadel and Siege of Montcrux.
In short I prefer Chivalry 2. I’ve played both. Chivalry has a larger player base so Ive had no troubpe finding games from 10am morning to 2am at night. The combat is more intuitive to pick up as the animations are very clear with more beginner friendly mechanics. The graphics are better coupled with the very atmospheric music it provides an immersive experience. If you want a more hardcore experience Mordhau with its smaller player base in my experience is left with more hardcore players which will roll you in combat. The customisation in this game outmatches Chivalry with as you can build a unique character with different perks. You can try both on steam and if you don’t like you can refund if that option is available for your country. I personally prefer Chivalry 2.
I find it slightly more difficult to land all types of attacks in third person perspective compared to first person. In term of FOV I don' t think it affects my ability to land hits too much. Although at higher FOVs it may seem like everything is moving slightly faster. I think my inexperience with handling some weapons affects my accuracy a lot more than FOV. I'm used to playing games at 82-120 FOV.
It is slow and you need to be mindful the crosshair drifts to the top right when you ads then resets right after. Might throw you off when you’re learning to use it.
Back in the day the English were very famous for having highly trained population in archery. Everyone including nobles were trained in ways of the bow. The Genoese crossbowmen were also very famous. Thanks for watching and commenting :)
The Genoese crossbowmen were respected on the battlefield back in the day. Today you can be a crossbowman and pick off enemies too!
Archer can be fun sometimes. If you’re a good 1 handed duelist, the other team will get pretty frustrated
Agreed
3:31 he throws a beyblade to make swords collide with sparks 💀
I love beyblades
This is hard to use after using normal xbow and warbow, as it has a lot less projectile drop and a lot less target leading.
Yeah it’s a bit weird to use Id say.
William Tell would be proud
I just looked this up and it is such a cool story! Thanks for commenting!

@@klevinduckeven the story Achilles is exactly that
Yooo, loved the gameplay bro,
though it (S crossy)has more damage but considering the high reloading time warbow seems better,

The bolt is so much fast than the normal
Sure feels like it. Not sure if it actually is faster.
@@klevinduck yeah, it is. Just compare with the crossbow and the bows to see that
Would you recommend Chivalry 2 or Mordhau for a medieval combat game?

you run max FOV, if so do you find it hard to gauge if attacks will hit, especially stabs?

Holy fuck the siege crossbow is slow and im still grinding towards it but that damage is gonna make it worth it

I don't use bows but nice work its war everything's fair to me just like snipping in MM2

Exactly all fair in war.
