First off........love the new intro with the lightning.........the intros just keep getting better and better!👍👍 As far as the speed of the wolf...... You have it so well moded, I'm really not surprised. That truck is a beast.......just wish i lived a little closer so i had a chance to see it in person. Thanks for the videos gents! I know a ton of work goes into making them......and what you put into the content.
Have y’all considered taking weight from the tailgate? That lift has to weigh more than you’d want to be carrying. I see 2.8’s or less once the tuning is done. This channel and the videos keep getting better, Mizer Bros. Excellent works, as always.
I'm getting a new f150 for daily use and performance and towing a boat. What gear ratio should I get? I was thinking 3.73. I'm gonna add a supercharger.
Y’all should add a line lock system to lock the front brakes only. I’ve been watching y’all’s channel and see y’all have torched your brakes several times. I think it would be a good upgrade for the wolf.
2018 f150 up has electronic braking and line locks don't work any longer. Line lock systems intercept the hydraulic system but the electronics on the new F-150 won't let you use them any longer.
Awesome. Very fast truck! What kind of oil your using (engine, diffs, transfer case, trans)...Amsoil, Mobil 1, Schaeffers etc...what you using? With the launches you do and all the power...was just curious? Keep the awesome videos coming!!
Dang that is sitting low. Would never survive the wonderful roads in Michigan lol Nice couple of hits can't wait to see what it runs with a little tuning and harder launch. What do you think the weak point will be with the truck?
@@BackroadDriver I think I still have a critical speed chart at work that shows size and rpm for when you have to build a new one, shows what size would be recommended
I keep forgetting to ask you guys. I’m curious to know how your Nitto street tires hook compared to your off-road tires you used to run? Not the drag tires, but the street tires.
Launching in 4H at 600-750 RWHP was great on the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. When we turned the wolf up to over 800 we went to street tires to cut weight in the tires. They hooked fine. When we lowered the wolf they hooked less.
@@BackroadDriver thanks. I'm running Whipple 2.9 .kooks 1.7/8 long tubes no cats. Borla type S. Its doing the same too me. Had to put the stock exhaust back on for tuning...
I thought it would have been faster. Perhaps y’all need to fold the mirrors in or take them off all together, put some Jeep mirrors or or something that can come off easily. Just to start losing the drag, put a Shelby front bumper on and leave the rear. Cut weight and drag, always a recipe for success.
So im curious to know on how you can take the speeds of the trucks you guys have past the limited top speed i think it caps out at120mph but can you get a tune to go over that speed? I seen videos of built f-150s like yours but they seem to cap out at 120
Check out our merch shop!

Needs a stock bumper now that it’s lowered
Sick! Mexico is beautiful this time of year
The Wolf is riding

Thanks Dave. We are trying to make this our full time gig one day.
Very nice! Backroad worthy! The Lobo is ridiculous. I’m just glad it’s putting up Tesla numbers!
Next spring it should be hunting season!
Simply fantastic! Running sub 3''s is insane. I have a hunch it'll be sub 2.5,
0 to 60, after your fine tuning.
May even travel south to warmer weather drag strip.
@@BackroadDriver hell yeah baby!!!
Not everyone can say I drive a 10 sec 4x4 as a daily. Awesome truck! Awesome guys! Love it
I can’t find you on Dragy app. But fyi you just took the #5 spot for 0-60 for F150’s in the leaderboard.
I’m not registered. Gotta keep my test runs private to be able to get races as we get faster.
Thanks now I want a chiller
Truck slushies! We have a few more tricks up our sleeve with this…
The channel is sic boys! Keep up the good work.
Solid set up!
What about playing around with the bed cover and tailgate off/ on. Would that be enough weight reduction to make a difference?
The tailgate has the heavy step in it. You read our mind. Video coming soon!
The wolf is awesome!

The next Wolf video features our new tailgate… you read our mind.

That is a good sweet spot for the 2021 and up.
what Size wheels did you guys use? 17x10? what offset? no rubbing when turning lock to lock?
17x10. Needed a small spacer in the front to not hit the knuckle.
glad to see this!!

Nothing fancy in the diffs and transfer case. Liquid Moly in the engine.
Killing it guys!
Thanks Justin! Just getting started!
Beast!
Id like to see your venomrex and weld wheels on a scale to see the weight difference between the two. Getting rid of ratational mass is huge.
Lovin' it!!
Why don't you put your stock bumper back on then send me your off road one.... it will match my lead foot lifted f150 pretty good
Check out that Kick-Ass intro. I was guessing 2.75 0-60 & the 1320 10.87. You boys will see better times at the track.👍
You are right. We may head south after a few tune revisions. May even shed some weight.
Beast man love it guys
It’s getting there!
The old Wolf wheels would look awesome on my 2021 F150 Space White XLT SPORT FX4…hint hint
Gotta hang onto them for the street. These drag tires disappear quick!
Dang that is sitting low. Would never survive the wonderful roads in Michigan lol Nice couple of hits can't wait to see what it runs with a little tuning and harder launch. What do you think the weak point will be with the truck?
You got that right, Mid Michigan here
@Kurt Matthews, probably U-joints and driveshaft. The trans is built. I guess we will find out soon…
@@BackroadDriver I think I still have a critical speed chart at work that shows size and rpm for when you have to build a new one, shows what size would be recommended
I knew it would be faster, I was guessing 3.2, glad I was wrong, the Wolf has to eat, Peace
I think we can hit 2.4 before winter if all goes well.
2.4? I know it’s possible and I can’t wait for you to do it
What pulley are you running on the odin?
79mm.
@@BackroadDriver Im ordering an Odin Monday im coming for ya!

Did you every fix it from kicking you out of sport Mode from the loud exhaust
We capped the dumps for now. We may uncap them and turn off some ABS stuff in a drag strip only tune for next spring but that seemed to do it.

Have you thought about weight savings? That front bumper looks heavy.
I think we can pull 500 pounds and keep the bumper. It’s not much more than the stock bumper. We need to get the weight of both to compare.
This!👍
Where are you guys located?
Race kong!!!

The speedo stops but the truck keeps going.
With a tune the speed limiter can be removed.
They go well past 120 with a tune. I think the newest model still has a cap to it correct me if I’m wrong.
The Whipple tune has a cap but it is beyond what you need to run the 1/4 mile all out.
Noice!
I thought it would have been more in the 10.3 to 10.5 range.
I think it will get there on this setup on a better surface and few tune revisions.
F 150 for life the only truck I will drive
Viva Mexico 🇲🇽
Great place! Nice Cacti.
👍
#deeppockets
4X4 front bumper on lowered truck just looks weird
😲😲👍
time for some weight reduction
