Sorry for the late reply. The growatt has fans to keep it cool, and I have exhaust fans in that enclosure to take the hot air out of it. There is also a vent at the bottom of the enclosure to let cool air flow through. The growatt fans are loud when they are running. That growatt mppt did fail recently after nearly 2 years, I am getting warranty replacement as it happened right before the 2 year factory warranty ran up.
I have been seriously considering placing 2 panels on the drivers side for a 3rd string of 2 panels in series. I would like to get some of that low angle sun early in the day and late at night for the days when it is 100+ and I want to have the AC running day and night. I like your rig!
Does your growwatt have some cooling fans to get the hot air out of the box you put it in? I have a noisy AIO unit I’d like to do something similar
