- In this episode, we attend the NTU Angler's Club Saltwater fishing event 2020! Fortunately, this was held before everything gone to shit. We caught a good amount of fish at Ah Lim's pond for the day. Big thanks to NTU Angler's Club for organizing this successful event. Hope everyone stay safe & we'll get through this together.

What it’s the size of the hook u used? I just went there, using 3/0 hook with live prawn. I got many bite, but it seem like the fish there got small mouth, most of my prawn were bite half and left dead, without hook on to the fish. Is there any problem with my hook? Or I should use smaller prawn meat instead?

why are u killing the shrimp? it's way better when alive
Hmmm good question. I find it more effective like this because I'm always moving the shrimp anyway by hopping the bottom. It lets me impart my own action and cover more ground. The fish also can't tell the difference and thinks it's a live prawn, the juices also flows more for stronger scent. I learnt this from SW pond anglers in Malaysia, and I find that I out fish most who just throw out a live prawn and wait with this jighead prawn setup.
