- It's been a long while since the last time I built a guitar effects pedal on camera. And many have asked to see more! SO this time I bought the cheapest delay pedal build kit I could find on Amazon, and I have documented the entire process! The kit is called the TTone DIY Delay.
This is more of a beginner level guide, and the process / explanation applies to other build kits as well!

Excellent video. Great formatting, and loving the background jams. This channel is turning into a vibe.
GREAT video! I subbed as soon as I started video. You have a cool demeanor. Pedal looks cool....glad it works!😂
I remember talking about building delays with you years ago when the idea seemed far more daunting.
This turned out really cool. It would be interesting to see how a modulation device comes together.
You are a genius!
No, you are! Thanks buddy, you rock!
I tried to build a basic boost on a breadboard once. Didn't turn out so well.
Thinking about taking another crack at it.
Thankyou for sharing this.
I think it sounded warm for such a l"ow-fi" acoustic signal, and a "honk" sounding amplifier.
I am nervous to try this kit, because I do not have money to waste, but I would feel proud to build a functional effect, to run in my loop effect circuit, on my stage right 40w:
I would like to upgrade my amp's reverb with tone, and "dwell" controls; but I do not know how:; I can not find a video on that.
Anyhow; thankyou;
I appreciated this documentary.
I know this is an old video but I have the same kit and I'm having trouble figuring out how to connect the DC power plug to the board. In the instructions I have it looks like the power plug has a connection to the input jack. I don't understand that. Any chance of getting another short video with more details please.
“The nut goes on the inside of the enclosure.” He snickered like Beavis and Butthead
Did you do the video of mods for this pedal?
How did you wired the output jack?
If you are going to do a lot of DIY stuff you should also have a 3D printer. Mine comes in handy for custom standoffs.
Random Question mate: Is there a way to record live edits in reaper like you can in Buzz with its hard disk recorder? It is so simple in buzz to record with 1 click on the fly in buzz...but I can't find a way to record LIVE effect tweaking in Reaper. Even if there is another program to do it. Please make a video if you find the answer!!! Thanks again Ty.
Well I just found the best way to record your loops with live FX in Reaper: It uses your voice recorder in windows and you have to add "Realtek Stereo Mix" under input devices! Windows deactivated it, so you'd buy screen and audio recorders. Now you can play an 8 bar loop in Reaper while toggling with fx like in jeskola buzz! ruclips.net/video/xhuwo-q0fEY/видео.html
A very good question, indeed! I did some searching this evening, and I found the solution that we both need! 😁 Video is coming up soon, and I appreciate you reaching out!

I've got this kit but the pcb is smaller so the pots etc are all off board, but the diagram is such a poor photocopy I haven't worked it out yet 🙄
It appears that it's already not available on Amazon.
