Hi! I'm a big James Dean fan. I graduated from Illiñios State with a degree in Theatre Production. I went to school with John Malcovich, Laurie Metcalf and others who formed Steppenwolf Theatre which is in Chicago. I used to watch them perform and knew they would make it. I saw all three of Jimmy's movies and knew that he had a God given talent. He made those characters come to life. Artiscally, I felt it. I look at his performances in a creative way. It's just my opinion. Julie Harris was right. He was mesmorizing. Tragic of how he died. His legend continues to live on till today. Take care

In the 80's I had on my wall a watercolor print of James Dean, but I never knew anything about him, I just found him attractive. Good looking guy, but what a jerk! Sounds like the kind of guy who would piss you off just for kicks or his own gain. Very manipulative.
