@@BangkokJack858 I didn’t,t like the layout of Chaing Mai. It was too crammed. It could’ve just been where I stayed. It seemed like there were too many hazards on top oof that. I liked Chaing Rang. It was interesting seeing the Golden triangle. But Pia, although the nature was nice, it seemed to be a stoners paradise with weed shops and massage parlors. I did like Bangkok though. I would travel back the for that and to see the islands.
This was actually really helpful to me and completely changed what my trip will be in two days. And i feel kind of relieved because planing to do the whole country was very overwhelming and I hate transport. Will be sticking to the groups of islands for this trip. Thank you so much!
Great video Jack. So I have used Jack to book my upcoming trip to Thailand and I can say he has made it really easy and straightforward for someone who hasn't been there. I highly recommend.
Just got back from Bangkok, Hua Hin and Krabi. Last year I went to Phuket and Koh Samui. I decided to skip other destinations like Kanchanaburi because of being tired from travelling. Even an hour long flight cost you about a day. Sometimes more is less, that is really good advice.
@@BangkokJack858 Yea. It's definitely not just the flight alone. It's packing your bags, driving to and from the airport, check-in, check-out, security, passport control, wait for luggage on arrival etc. I hate airports a lot more than actually flying. Plus when you finally arrive at your hotel, you're usually tired. So you just wants to quickly grab something to eat and get to sleep. People might want to consider taking a sleeper bus instead if possible. Plus It's a lot cheaper.
Tip 1 - spend at least 3 nights in each location. Tip 2 - hire a car. You will see far more than others that way. Tip 3 - Don't book ahead more than 2 nights. Tip 4 - go low season its cheaper and more green.
Great Video, I will Visit Thailand for my First time for 3 Weeks in February. My Plan: 1 week Chiang Mai + Chiang Rai. (Want to visit the Golden Triangle) 1 week Koh Tao for a diver cours, 3 days Koh samui and 3 days in Bangkok. What do You think about my Split ?
Very good tips. I've been to Thailand 12 or 13 times.I've not been much around. Two times in Kharon Phuket. It's crowded, noisy, and driving there is like playing with Black Mambas, but it's very beautiful. And they won't serve you the real spicy food, unless you have a thai girlfriend making them believe the food is for her. We ( me and my thai wife) bought a house in Ban Phe in 2012, it's two minutes from the beach on the moped. Every time we plan our next trip to Thailand we make plans for trips to Chiang Mai, Krabi, Koh Samui, Koh Chang, and you name it. But as soon as we have unpacked and installed the cold drinks and the food in the refrigerator all the trips are forgotten because we've just arrived in heaven. I sure want to visit all those places, but as long as I can't stay in Thailand for 2 or 3 months I know that I'll just chill my ass off in Ban Phe. Ban Phe is not packed with tourists, and the tourists are generally mature, which is perfect for me, being finished with hard partying. There is many couples above 50 years of age and some young couples with children in Ban Phe. Everything is laid back, and if you want to drive an mc you can do it relatively safely as long as you just remember that there is no traffic rules in Thailand and the bigger vehicle always go first. Of course, if you want to go with bar girls they're there too, they're just not in your face like they are in Pattaya. The prices are much lower than i. e. Pattaya and Phuket, and if you want to shop the city of Rayong is 20 minutes away. Koh Samet is a ten minute boat trip away with speed boat, and Koh Samet is absolutely recommendable.
Hi Jack We are travelling to Thailand for 8 nights. (Bkk, phuket, krabi) Will it be cheaper if we rent scooty in TL or grab is better? Because we'll have to apply for International driving lic (from India) Which is a better option overall for this trip
Great advice. My upcoming trip is in 1st week of Feb. I had tried reaching out via your website to plan Khao Sok trip, but I somehow didn't hear back. Is there a contact number too at which I can reach out?
Great tips man. Heading there in April for songkran. Can’t wait. Great video.
@@NCATDJTNT cheers mate! You'll have a blast!
Great Tips! 👍👍
Such great tips! A vacation becomes so much better when its less scheduled with more room for exploring and going with the flow :)
Absolutely!!
I hope to go back to the beach of Thailand. I wasn’t blown away by northern Thailand. I did like Bangkok.
I think you should give northern Thailand another shot! What didn't you like about it?

Love the cheesecake metaphor😂
Cheers mate! I only wish I'd bought a nicer looking cheescake lol
I love the cheesecake analogy.
Thanks! Glad it made sense lol
I’m just going to stick to Pattaya and Bangkok until I move to Thailand lol 😂
keep it simple!

Sounds like you made the right choice! yeah i think most people dont realise how long a flight will ACTUALLY take

So true that you have to take extra time. All other RUclipsrs don't factor in this. Truth Sayer 😂😂❤
@BangkokJack858 hahaha funny 🤣
Great tips. Thailand beaches are horrible during the high season. Very expensive this year too.
can be pricey, yes

Will hotels be more expensive in high season if booking last minute?
@@joelstacey7222 yes, but tehy are also just higher in general even if you book in advance
Best tip: avoid places where Indians will be

looks good, consider moving a few days from Koh Tao (small island) to Samui (big island)
Hi, i plan to visit Thaïlande with my family in August and do tou think krabi is a good choice even in August ?
Samui or Phangan might have less chance of rain
